    Hello everyone! Wanted to share with you a similar install that I did on my 2022 Ram Rebel. Like Dusty Desert Adventures, I installed a 2" front leveling kit and then installed 325/65R18" take offs from TRX. However, I didn't want to replace the original studs so I installed a 1/4" (6.35mm) wheel spacer (instead 1/2" that Dusty Desert Adventures installed) and everything works fine. I got 10 full turns of the lug nuts and I have enough clearance between the tire and the upper control arm. Overall I got 41" from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well, which gave me ~3" total lift at the front and ~1" at the rear end.

      What PSI are you running in your tires? Im running trx takeoffs as well on my rebel, currently running 39 up front 37 in the rear cold.

      @@grantshuff2458 I’m running 38psi on all 4, but I think I’ll try 35-36psi. Did you change the default tire pressure setting on your truck? Because on the Rebel the duratracs need 55psi and I have the tire pressure light on all the time. From what I saw we need the change it through the truck’s computer or go to the dealership

    You need to replace the upper control arm with a 2" spacer. The angle on the ball joint can cause it to fail

  • @jeffskuches9605
    @jeffskuches9605 7 месяцев назад

    Excellent video. The only issue i see is using the spacer. By doing this, you eliminate the hub centering the wheel. The studs are centering the wheel now, so there's the possibility of a vibration.

    I’ve heard the CV Axle doesn’t like the spacers because of the angle. I’d just advice not disrespectfully by any means, just watch those.
    For me IF I decide to put 35’s on my Rebel I’ll go to Fabtech or the 5100 6112 Bilsteins to add 2” or more to the truck. As expensive as Fabtech is the benefit is you can have them rebuilt for the lifetime of the truck. Inconvenience is you have to ship them to Fabtech so kinda without them until they send them back. Doing this option would definitely cut out the need for any spacer as well. But studs may need to be replaced as well.
    Will still have to do a little cutting on the plastics so just cut some of that and it’ll be good.

      35’s don’t fit a stock wheel on the Ram Rebel. The stock wheel is only 8” wide and a 35” tire requires a minimum of 8.5” wheel width. Anyone that does install it on the smaller wheel is not doing their due diligence
