45-120, that’s not a long range cartridge! Mark and Sam say ‘hold my beer’!
Wicked shooting. Love these projects.
Thanks Man, Cheers
Awesome shot and to punch through at that distance is impressive
Thanks Allen, Cheers man
That awesome drone shot at the end really shows how ridiculously long those shots are. At first, I was thinking 'oh, nice shot of the property' until it passes over your firing position at the end lol.
Thanks Vince, cheers
The Time that you both have put into this 45-120 project is Definitely paying off Great Work Mark and Sam.👍
Thanks Andrew, Cheers man
There was one of those at the gunshow for sale last weekend... but it didn't look like THAT ... much more Quiglyish .
Nice job guys 👍
Lol, Cheers Angus
Wow and wow fantastic shooting all about that wind you nail it well done guys.
cheers Man, thanks
I've been watching your videos for years and are still mindblown every time!
The distance is insane!
Cheers from Northern Sweden.
Thanks you sir, Cheers
I just realized that was the first time I smiled all day , Thank you . Between your shooting ability and her giggle you are a team that can’t be beat 🤩
Awesome, Cheers Man, thanks
This is another awesome video. I'm always impressed with these ELR efforts. It was very consistent round to round on this setup.
Thanks Man, Cheers
Great shooting , Still plenty of Punch in that round, Straight Thru! Well done!
Sharing to the Septic tanks shooting channels !
Cheers Man
This would be perfect for rabbits! 😂 Outstanding content and shooting skills.
🤣🤣, Cheers Man
Impressionnant, bravo👏
Thanks Man
Outstanding as usual 👏
Thanks Ian, Cheers
Amazing!
Cheers
Incredible
Cheers
What a thumper! I think Kentucky ballistics would really like one of those with no brake lol!
Lol, Cheers man
Wow. That round packs a whale of a whollop. Great shooting as always. It is impressive how consistent those shots were.
Thanks wally, Cheers
You need a bucket out there. Quigley ELR😮😅❤❤❤
Thanks Chris, Cheers
That performance is impressive.
Thanks Man
Awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers 👍👍
I like how a proper rig /setup shows the real scientific truth about certain caliber myths
Cheers Man
Awesome looking rig 👌
Thanks Tim
Supa Quigley
You two are super sniper/spotter team.
Two miles...are you kidding!!!
I won't be breaking in your house within 3 miles...ha ha ha ...
I'm a gun guy too...
But you're beyond my imagination with reloads and custom rifles...
Great site mates!!!
Thanks Man, Cheers
Excellent Shot as always! And that bullet actually penetrated the plate!
Yep, thanks Man
That's some round Mark some power at that distance awesome mate nice shooting too 👍

Thanks Man
im speechless..........
Thanks Man
Very, very good
Thanks Walter
I cannot believe the capabilities of this round
Thanks Ron, Cheers
cool
Cheers
If you were using bison sized targets, there'd be a lot more hits...and a mass migration of American bison into Canada as a result...😄 crazy skills guys...🤝
Lol, Cheers Man
That’s basically artillery at that point haha! I wonder what velocity and energy the bullet retains at that range? It didn’t seem to mind that plate being in the way lol
Lots, Cheers Man
This cartridge and rifle combo how it is is like a old school big block Chevy that you ditched the carb on and there a Holley EFI system on and bumped the compression up bringing new life and capabilities to
Yeh, lol, Cheers Man
Strait wall getting it done!!
Yup, lol, Cheers Randy
👍😊🎯 and a 🕳 big one.
Cheers Chris
👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers
I love my Numrich Buffalo Hunter rolling block in 45/70. I need to stretch it’s legs after I get my vernier sight installed. That was way cool. It sure punched a hole! Very interesting bullets. I have Postell in 525 and 535 that I need to work up. Who makes the 2209 powder?
ADI, but running more speed and pressure than the old stuff can manage, cheers
Unreal ! Almost
As
Good as my 2 inch group at 8700 yards with my 6.5 cm 😂😂
🤦♂️🤣🤣
sweet...
Cheers
🥳✌️‼️
Cheers Kyron
Well now, that shows what obsolete rounds can do, amazing consistency.
Thanks Trevor
Is his barrel really aiming 602.5 feet over the point of impact!?!?
That's why it's called ELR man, lol, Cheers
Sounds right. 1 MOA at 3002 yards would be 30.02”. (30.02x235)/12 to get drop in feet? Idk, I use Mils but I think the math is correct for MOA.
Wikipedia: "the 45-120 sharps was the longest available black powder cartridge for the Sharps rifle, and has been discontinued around 1902 due to the use of smokeless powder"
Sam and mark around 122 years later: "hold our beers".
Lol, Cheers Phil, thanks man
😊
Cheers
I'm curious to know what your sight picture looks like through the scope at that distance.
We have other recent ELR videos with those images, Cheers
Now try that with the holy black.
Lol, Cheers
At say 500 yards, those shots would surely be almost going through the same hole.
Thanks Man, Cheers
Mark and Sam Вы отличная команда ✊🇰🇬✊
Thanks Man, Cheers
How thick was that plate?
3mm mild steel
Mark, is this a wildcat caliber you made?
Nope, 45-120 Sharps a 150 year old cartridge, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork Well, that's embarrassing! I was confused by the 4 sets of numbers and didn't look at the title.
Lol, Cheers Man
Amazing !!!
Thanks Wes
