YEEEESSSSSS! The 'Ole War Horse ain't dead! 🇦🇺👍🇺🇸
Thanks Chris
Just having the conversation on the range this morning about how 'a 30.06 just won't work for a long range gun'. Thanks again for showing the world that it will!
Laughing now as video dropped less than a minute ago and 10 of us have already liked it😂
awesome, Cheers Man
,Great shooting yet again, love the way Sam calls the shots. Top notch teamwork
👏👋
Mark you are correct sir that was and always is "AWESOME" Great work team!
Thanks you Will, Cheers man
I'm always impressed what you guys can do with a 120 year old cartridge and your knowledge of modifying chambers.
Thanks Dom, Cheers
That rifle is crazy accurate. Very close from the start, and just made a couple quick adjustments. Top notch!
Thanks Dave
Yet another fantastic video. Thank you Mark and Sam.
Thanks man
I have a 300win, 338edge, and in the past I had a 270wsm and a 300rum. But still my absolute favorite rifle is my 30-06 built on a 98k. I call it my meat axe
Thanks Sterling Cheers
Seems like the ol’ 30-06 is still a viable option for whatever is needed.
It also appears that the pair behind the shot makes the difference, great teamwork!
Thanks Paul, Cheers
I wouldn't try it with my 80 year old 06. I've taken white tails out to 300 yards. Nice to see someone stretching it out there. Thank you Mark and Sam.
Thanks Pete, Cheers
Husband and wife goals! ❤❤
Y’all are awesome!
Cheers Man, thanks
I recently Frankenstein together a savage 30-06 with a 30 inch criterion bull barrel yes it’s tax driver and it’s so damn heavy has hardly any recoil. And being it’s a dirty hot six it feeds like a dream from the magazine oh yeah!
Awesome, Cheers Man
Great work again. And yes please always do the "fly back" just love seeing that. cheers.
Thanks Butch, Cheers
My Favorite Cartridge to Hand load for. I load 90gn to 250gn. My other cartridges can't do that very versatile. Thank you Mark And Sam!!!!
Awesome, cheers Man
Excellent team work! 👍
Cheers Man, thanks
Nice way for me to start my morning. Thank you ❤️
Cheers Man, thanks
Excellent video. Man, I was talked into an 8 twist barrel for 210 Berger VLDs in my new 300WSM modified. Glad I have a 10 twist barrel ready for pick up.
Thanks Derek, Cheers man
Amazing. That would come close to being the best group at that distance yet.
Thanks man, Cheers
I remember your vid shooting this rifle a few years ago. I said it was my fave rifle of yours, and it seems it's just as accurate as back then.
Yep, awesome man, Cheers
I love how this venerable cartridge performs when loaded and shot by experts. Wish my old Dad could see this.
Thanks Rob, Cheers
Nice shooting as always….thanks Mark and Sam👍
Thanks Bryce
Love your approach!
Thanks Jeff
Amazing as always! Thank you. Kevin
Thanks Kev, cheers and and all our best

Great job you guys. Love the channel
Thanks Dave
Your felt recoil looks almost nil with the setup you have Mark. Very nice rig!
Cheers Duggy
Mark and Sam and Jack of the outback.

Thanks Man, Cheers
THE most versatile round EVER created.
Cheers
Awesome - so good to see the aim points
Thanks Tim, cheers
Holy shit! excellent!!!👍
Cheers Man
Awesome 👍🏻👍🏻☝🏻
Thanks Lyndon
Awesome, and I'm amazed you can push that 230 grain pill past 2600fps. You must have quite the action on that set up.
As listed in and below video, standard Rem 700, we have previous 30-06 videos that explain more, Cheers
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔝🔝🔝🔝Nice couple.
Cheers
Wow, that's accurate.
Cheers Paul, thanks
Sam is eagle-eyed
Dam, great spotting.
Cheers Mike
Nice shooting with a grand old cartridge !!
Thank you Loren, Cheers Man
Great work! Maybe stick a small one inch square mirror tile to it so it reflects the light when the target vibrates when hit
Thanks Ben, and not something that is an issue when all works as should... Cheers
did you ever want to try a spotting scope with mil reticle to correct in mils instead of targets? amazing shooting and spotting, thanks for your work!
Not how we do it Ned, Cheers
06 is and always be an awesome round
agreed, Cheers
I need to try this on my ranch here in Texas. Only problem is my furthest shot on my property is about 1200 yards
Cheers Shannon
30-06😄
3032✌️👍‼️
Cheers Kyron
What a great day! On target within 5 shots!❤❤❤
Yep, thanks Chris
You bloody ripa mate 👍🇦🇺 Now I'm wondering how my number 1 mark 3* Lithgow 303 with a Bushnell scope would do at 3000 yards would do?
Thanks Scott, Cheers
👍💪
Cheers
Oh my dog
Lol, Cheers
😊
Thanks Will, Cheers Man
Me: *takes the first shot
Sam: center height, right two targets
Me: Well, we'll call that a hand grenade, and that's close enough. Let's pack it up
Sam: 😶
Lol, Cheers Matt
👍😊 still getting it done.
Yep, Cheers Chris
🤠👍👍👍
Thanks Dave
Wow, thats a heck of a long shot with a 30-06. Does the brass manufacturer impact the rounds performance? Or do you just get more loads using premium brass?
What do you mean by "moved the lands forward 0.1"? Is the bullet 0.1 off the lands? How far do you normally stay off the lands? Is it different for each caliber or even per bullet & powder combo in each caliber?
I'm currenly .25" off the lands using my 6.5mmCM Ruger Precision Rifle.
I can consistently shoot sub MOA groups at 600 yards. I'm happy with that, but thinking about moving the bullet closer to the lands to see if I can get an even tighter group.
How close can I safely get to the lands? I'm using Hogdcon H4350 power with Hornady 140gr ELDM bullets.
We have videos on all this stuff, here's a index video with just a few to help, ruclips.net/video/FKPR4gaieSg/видео.html
What do you think of the rem 700 actions mark? Id love to know.
They are great, we have several, Cheers
What are you thoughts on the element theos? Would love to see a comparison to other tier 1 scopes.
We have a review vid, cheers Man
Did u use a reamer to push the lands forward? If so did u buy it or make it, im in south africa and want to cut my throat longer as my fast twist barrel has a short chamber, limiting me to the lighter/shorter bullets
Throat reamers are as it sounds, many companies can supply, cheers
Nice video, looking for a PRC rifle. Its a hard call. 6.5 Creedmoor, 30-06 or WIN MAG 300.
Thanks Man
