“10 shots 3 hits and near misses. That’s doing really well”
You are one modest fella.
That’s extraordinary. Especially given the conditions!
Thanks Man, glad you liked, Cheers
I think I see extra tensioners on the target - I know I see the wind sock going crazy.
You two are dedicated;
That drone footage -wow
Yes the wind is out of control this year, lol, Cheers
Been considering a 6.5PRC in the near future. Didn’t realize you could get a 156gr bullet moving nearly 3000FPS in that caliber. That peaks my interest even more.
Awesome, Cheers
Three rounds and a hit!!! Amazing captain. Absolutely great shooting. I guess you have had plenty of practice. Cheers.
Lol, Yep, thanks man, Cheers
Love to see the aim points, thats great
Thanks Tim
Too notch. Hope to see it regularly in videos
Your shooting is so impressive. It blows my mind. Some support from the USA
Thanks Man, Cheers
Eager to get my prc warmed up as soon as weather allows in Kentucky. Got 1300 yards to play with.
Awesome, Cheers
I never stop with mine here in eastern Ky…got 24” carbon waypoint with many tests and loads worked up with it and fn spr .308..520yrds 1 way…250 the other…I hang 20oz’s up along with some steel up on the hollerfill and shoot off porch…little place near hazard we have 16 tov1700 but bout to get shut down…lands changin hands..
I'm doing the same thing just down the road at Lake Grace.. wind is a pain.. loving my Tract..
Awesome, and ELEMENT scope here, Cheers
Really well is understated as usual....you guys are world class!
Cheers Joel, thanks
Great shooting and teamwork to you both! As always, thanks for the great content.
Thanks Howard
Thanks Mark great job from the both of you as usual
Thanks James, Cheers
What a nice way to end the week, viewing this. Thanks!
Thanks Jeff, Cheers man
I really enjoy the 6.5 PRC videos as that is my only long range rifle at this time. Very encouraging. Thanks for another great video Mark and Sam!
Thanks Mike, Cheers
World class content as always, and much appreciated! You continue to amaze me how quickly you get dialed in, in such variable conditions. It really displays the great teamwork you have.
Thank you sir, glad you like, Cheers
Absolutely awesome, what else can you say, love ya work, happy new year to you both cheers Yogi ✌️🤙
Thanks Brett, Cheers man
Great job awesome teamwork
Cheers Man
Dang, your shooting vids are a legit guilty pleasure of mine lol freaking amazing shooting!
Cheers man, thanks
Impressive as always. Brilliant spotting. Had to go back and look as the dirt plume makes it look in a different spot.
Thank you Peter, Cheers
Wonderful team work cheers to you both a great way to start off the new year! As always excellent execution and video footage of how difficult it is to do this precision shooting! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
Thanks Bob, Cheers
10 shots but that includes working up to target. Well done again.
Yep, thanks Dave, Cheers
Everyone should have a gal like sam. She's great!
sure is, cheers Jim
Enjoyed the video, thanks 👍
Thanks again man, Cheers
Nice rifle mate.
Thanks Glen
That’s some shooting, in windy conditions! Enjoying your videos.
Cheers Man
Even if you are not currently doing elr stuff the rear rest rider they make seem to be flawless. I want one so bad love you.
Thanks Ron, glad you liked and FYI anything over 3 sec's of flight time is ELR for most, lol, Cheers
GREAT VIDEO ..!!!! THANK YOU ..!!!! AWESOME ...!!!!! THAT WIND WAS BAD ..!!!!! GOD BLESS Y'ALL ..!!!!!!
Cheers Gary, thanks man
I noticed Sam looking around (not towards the target) at times when you are not engaging the target. Is she looking to see if maybe there is anyone or anything that might encroach on the shooting line? That is a large area to monitor but we all know you are a great team and have "THE" top notch spotter!
All part of the job, Cheers Will
Great job!
Thanks Billy
Qué fantásticos disparos. Con ese viento a esa distancia no es nada fácil. Un saludo desde España
Thank you Emilian, glad you liked, Cheers
Impressive. Well done.
Cheers
Excellent/bravo
Thanks Man
Awesome!
Cheers
Nicely done
Cheers
I’m not taking you (both) for granted but I have come to expect a hit (or two) even in these windy conditions.
That’s a testament to the skills of the shooter, the spotter, the gunsmith / armorer, the hand loader and the equipment choices. It may be new to you (this particular rifle) but you somehow innately know how it works and to coin a phrase - become one with the gun. As for Sam, being a spotter involves more than most might think. It is a skill in itself and she ‘becomes one’ with that scope. She is as much a part of a ‘hit’ as Mark is.
Thank you and God bless you both .
Thank you sir, glad you liked, Cheers and all our best
Impressive. I wouldn't have expected a factory Ruger barrel to do that well.
Thanks Duggy
It's the Nut behind the butt 😁
Lady's laugh is so sweet 😇
Cheers
Wow!
Well, they say behind every successful man is a strong woman (spotter)😉.
Very well done Mark and Sam! 🏆
Thanks Anders, Cheers
just WOW!
Cheers
Awesome......
Cheers
Another great shooting video. I thought you guys were in the middle of summer there whats up with the coats and all the wind LOL! Its 7 degrees F at 7:45 pm here in Colo. Looking at -10 below in the morning. I hate winter in my older age!!
5.30am it normally cool in the lower halve of country WA, warms up to 40°c by noon, but being inland cools to 15°c or so most nights, glad you liked, the video Loren, cheers
Steady as a stone
Lol, Cheers
👍
Cheers
Another great video!
My prefered caliber is 6.5PRC in my Sako S20. You take it to the limit!!
If you would have kept your hold and not adjusted off the velocity changes I believe you would have been 5 for 10
👑
Lol, thanks Dave, Cheers
👍😊y’all ever see game in the fields.
Sometimes, but we don't hunt with target rounds nor past 400 yards, Cheers
Great shooting and spotting! My bipod components and muzzle brake showed up 2 days ago and they look great! Do you leave the component that the legs attach to loose enuf to adjust cant?
Awesome great to hear and yes, Cheers
👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers
Awesome ... again :D. Mark, maybe you could make a short vid comparing the 6.5 PRC with 6.5-06 and the 6.5 SAUM ? From reloading to shooting kinda thing ?
We have videos on the 6.5saum v 6.5-06, the 6.5PRC is the same as the 6.5saum, Cheers
Awesome 😎 thx M&S (is that the new scope?😁) 🇺🇲
Thanks Tate, and had it for some months been on the channel a bit, really nice unit too, Cheers
Where are you guys? Isn't it summer down there now? Looks cold and windy.
As it says Western Australia, and down here it cools off a night time, so early morning is is cool, around 16°C in the video later is the day it warms up to around 40°c on this day, Cheers
I'm in Nashville TN .. I think Mark could hit me. Hello both . Happy New Years Mates
Lol, Cheers man
A cada vídeo um aprendizado. Muito obrigado por compartilhar. Tenho vontade de adquirir essa bag base ajustável, não encontro aqui no Brasil.
We ship them direct, world wide 4aw-store.myshopify.com/collections/bases
The wind!!!!😃
Yep!
Back in the 70’s I had a Remington 700 BDL in .308 with a 10X Unertl.
Shooting 168 grain Match King boat tails on hand loads I could pot Pennsylvania woodchuccks at 400 yards pretty consistently.
I thought I was Carlos Hathcock.
What you guys are doing is whole orders of magnitude beyond that.
Love your videos
👍👍
🎯💥👍
Cheers
good day Mark. i was wondering if you have experienced this so called PRC CLICK or sticky bolt ? just got done my 6.5 prc build and working on some loads. thanks for the great content keep em coming .. cheers
Both are issues of either incorrect sizing of brass or running rounds to hot, we have videos on many general parts to the topics, but forums will have specific answers for you, Cheers
Whould love to see you guys play with the 6mm prc
We have earlier videos with the 6mm SAUM, too close to call a difference, Cheers
Yep that's where I started talking about it, want to build a 6 mm prc one day for my own
Brass should be easier to get here in the US
Hunting gun for myself if I ever do it
👍
@@jeffreywilson690do it mate or you will kick yourself for not having a go, go get it bro
Awesome as always! the image through scope, as shown for example at 3:10, is that 36 magnification?
Thanks man, an no about 20x, Cheers
🥳✌️👍‼️
Cheers
6.5PRC👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers
Wow that round sounds like its only just going trans sonic at the target
Cheers Johnny
People were making a fuss about barrel life when 6.5 Creedmore came out. What is the 6.5PRC barrel life like?
We don't shoot any one rifle enough to have issues with any barrels, Cheers
Watched video about rpr description.... but the buttstock on the rifle in this video doesn't appear to be the original rpr stock? What stock are you using. Thanks for another excellent shooting session.
Magpul, Cheers
Which 2 or 3 cartridges would you recommend for a starter elr build? Did you do a video on this idea already?
Yes, lots of videos on the many details and options to that answer, here's how to search ruclips.net/video/lWohyYEn-wc/видео.html
Awesome!!
Question. What kind of muzzle breaks do you like the most? TIA
4aw-store.myshopify.com/collections/muzzle-brakes
@@markandsamafterwork ThankYa very Much Mark and Sam.
👍
Like to see factory setup same distance with 6.5 Creedmoor.
We have old videos like that, Cheers
They want 207 CAD !!!!! here for a box of 20!!!!
Damn
I watched one of their earlier videos shooting 1000 yards
ESR …….. extremely short range. For M&S. LoL 😂
Lol, Cheers
I'd love to know Mark, when choosing a caliber to run, how do you balance the trade-off between barrel life and velocity gains?
The difference between doubling barrel life from 1000 rds to 2000 rds on a $500 barrel takes it from 50 cents down to 25 cents a round fired, which is less difference than that between buying premium bonded bullets vs unbonded bullets.
We don't put that many rounds threw rifles like these, so not something we consider, sorry, Cheers
Good day. What is the barrel length?
26"
