@@ScottWeinand my only issue was I was way overestimating the recoil and have almost a 30 lbs rifle. It shoots really nice, I’m about to build more of a tactical style rifle using either a nitrided/DLC ruckus or a lone peak fuzion
@@austinpribulsky8186 oh, I gotcha. I bet that's really pleasant to shoot at that weight! This one's a bit of a handful at 11 lbs complete, especially with the heavier bullets and a suppressor. The 200-210gr bullets with a brake it's still really pleasant to shoot though. I'm intending to use the 205 EOLs now, with a suppressor, and it's great to shoot with that.
You will be happy with either! The anti-x is about a full pound lighter, so that's great. But it also is a full pound lighter... Stiffness/rigidity is a big deal! So if you aren't planning on carrying it for days on end in the mountains, I'd probably stick with the ruckus!
You mentioned stiffness and rigidity, do you feel like the Anti X isn’t well suited for the .300NM after having used this for a while? Also, I was wondering what length barrel you’re using? Thanks
Another great video. On a slightly different topic you had a video last year titled "22 Creedmoor Whitetail at 520yds". I wanted to ask about Bob's 16" 22 creedmoor build but comments are disabled. I was curious about the load he was using to get 3200 fps from a 16" barrel using a 75 grain ELD-M?
Thanks man, yeah if memory serves he was using lapua 6 creed brass, varget, cci 450s. In the 20-24" barrels we use h4350 and shoot the 80gr berger usually now. They'll go as fast as 3400 or 3500 with the long barrels, but 3200-3250 is usually the sweet spot. Hard on brass and barrels if you really push them

I'm building a new rifle this year, and can't make up my mind if I want to build a 22 GT or 22 Creedmoor. I really DON'T love long barrels and prefer to be 24" or less while keep velocity high. I'm hoping to get at least 3000 fps using the 88 or 90 grainers with a 24" barrel.
I want more content with this specific gun, that action is so smooth

If that was a first round impact in that wind that is a good wind call.

Whichever shoots better in your rifle! They don't make a-max anymore, but it's basically the same thing as ELD match
