I've been playing this game from the time it was just grey boxes so seeing it get fully built out is the best feeling. The way the guns feel, and the playmaking ability that players have when they control two bodies is fucking sick

@@alihassan4060 couldn’t tell ya mate. I tried getting a spot on their site roughly 25-30min-ish after the vid dropped, but there were already none left, so no clue what would’ve been the next step after. Since you gave them your mail I‘d assume, they’ll drop you a msg once play tests are open.

I had a fun time playing the closed beta, glad I can finally talk about it. i think 3v3 makes it a lot easier to play with a few buddies, and the game is different enough from CSGO/Valorant that it feels worth getting into
Honestly a major critique I have is it's too similar to Valorant style wise. Not even gameplay, but the text, the load screen, the icons. Feels very plagiaristic personally.

It is just balance, because if there is a marginal level of inaccuracy, you are required to aim dead center for perfect one taps.
A couple of guns in both games have 0 inaccuracy like the snipers, or the guardian in valorant, or the krieg/aug (super close to 0) in csgo.

One thing that might be nice is instead of hearing and seeing "trap destroyed" you hear a specific and clear sound that indicates it. CS2 smoke over molly comes to mind. You know when your molly's been taken out because of that loud extinguishing sound. I'd prefer that over the game explicitly telling me.

It's exactly like Valorant, my first game playing it my teammate left because of how bad the game felt. The fact that you and your spectre have different guns and you can't just specifically buy one gun is really annoying the fact I have to use a pre-made 2 gun option is super annoying. And I really wasn't looking for another Valorant clone but here it is

Yeah It looks like valorant, but the core of the game is much different.
It more than looks like Valorant… it appears it is literally a reskinned Valorant with a very different mechanic. The guns, characters, maps, buy screen, kill feed, the way smokes deploy or flashes work. I will say being able to move while shooting is beyond goated. It looks like
He bought a game mode from Valorant and slightly changed some things like fun names and character names. Took away ults. I enjoy that it’s a combo of csgo and Valorant in play style. Focusing a lot more on gunplay than abilities. The gimmick of having a spectre could be pretty awesome. I’m wondering how balanced it really is? Like can someone just kill your specter if they walk by it? I can see some insane plays though for defusing where someone puts their spectre in a cheeky spot and snipes the other team last second or something.
There is nothing innovative about it just a reskin valorant/CSGO its unfortunate what has become of video games. It's all about those micro transactions with nothing new to give

W game with solid bones and a super unique concept with the theme of Duality at the heart of it. I had a blast during the playtest. Congrats Shroud! 🧡

@@0minous people forget how bad games look when they're in development. Just look at how people reacted when dev footage of GTA 6 got leaked. Valorant looked like an intern's project if you look at their dev footage. It's normal to have lazy and terrible placeholder voice lines that the devs probably voiced during development until they get proper VA's.
They need an aggressive CAPTAIN price or Sergeant Woods type of voice for male characters
by just watching i feel guns will be little overwhelming, maybe after playing it, it will be more familiar
I was in the playtest, I shared similar first impressions but once you play it more they feel satisfying. Keeping a simple ADS style system, but still having complex spray patterns to introduce a skill gap is surprisingly fun
@@mox7077 The thing that is horrible is the valonrat movement. One big reason why many CS players don't switch to Valorant is Valorant's slow movement. The same issue is in this game. Gunplay is good, graphics are okay but the movement is extremely boring. Although very nice good and the launch will be way better than CS2

The closed beta was sick, glad we can talk about it. I think 3v3 Is easier to manage and with just needing 2 buddies I could always have a full squad. The game is different from CS2 and Valorant but in a new way! ✊‼️‼️

In term of artistic choices it's literally a Valorant ctrl-C (UI and map design is not even trying to hide it) except the character design is 1. ugly 2. cell-shaded, which makes the character and the environment feel like 2 different game assets.
Other than that I like the clone twist, makes it less frustrating than the unforgiving CS style.

Been playing the private beta glad the NDA is gone gonna be some competition from frag punk but the games are different enough people can enjoy both, loved the game concept can't wait for it to be fully released
i like the concept but the models are kinda yucky.
It's been an absolute blast. Stoked to see how it grows!
The game feels so much fun watching and has great potential once new abilites are in, however from just watching there is a problem with visibility, like during the video i couldn't distinguish the teammates from the enemies, maybe you didn't do the highlight color to not look valorant, but you could achieve the same result with more saturated characters and wearable colors, like for example the other team characters maybe wearing all red and the teammates blue and so on, can't wait to get accepted in the playtest and be more into it for more feedback

Ignoring the fact that it literally shares so much simularities with Valorant, I don't see this going viral with competitors like Valorant or CS.
The double set of operators you play does not go well in my head (At least by just watching it) because I can see so many potential easy plays where you take out the NPC operators while the player is focused on defending site for example. Also, buying different loadouts without a choice seems a bit bad because I'm forced to play my second character with a build thats not similar to the one I want to play. Sure, I get to continue playing but handicapped. 3vs3 also does not seem like a good idea because a team with a better player will dominate more easily against just 3 people who have limited choices.
Looking at how the NPC characters just crouch motionless is just... Bad. Its like they don't have much reason to be there except when you switch to them to do a specific task or you die. Even Enlisted has a lets say a better control scheme for the bots on your squad which allows you to play without thinking about them too much as you order them to move or do something without you interfering.
Personally, I don't like the way the graphics are going as well its just pretty basic and the characters don't seem to be too approachable for the game it tries to be or the so called "hero shooter" genre. I have to say the gunplay looks great and I bet it feels good too when supervized by Shroud who has the experience to give that feedback.
Of course, my review is based on what I saw and I believe much can change when playing the actual game but so far I am not impressed as much and also I would not choose this over Valorant or Counter-strike.
Of course it won’t compete with them 🤣 I highly doubt they expect to compete with CS, the biggest tact fps and valorant, which is funded by a billion dollar company. And that’s exactly what people said about valorant, that it’s just a cheap cs clone. If it’s a good game, it will find a way to differentiate itself.
The clone mechanic reminds me of the translocator from Unreal Tournament. That item made for some god tier movement. This game looks interesting though

I got a few aces in the playtest, can confirm that swapping between bodies defending a split push feels insane when you pull it off

I feel as though you need more than the clone mechanic to differentiate yourself to valorant. That core mechanic feels more like an ability, and that's okay, but maybe you need another core mechanic. Or, perhaps, have several core mechanics that players can choose from, and those players still have agents with their unique abilities. That opens up a lot more depth, but of course balancing would be difficult.
This option to mix core mechanics with abilities would be a differentiator between valorant and csgo, and there would be no doubt about it.
Like right now, the core differences are the spectrum mechanic, and ADS based game, which tbh feels gimmicky.

Cell shading undefined with the black edges very thin with the colors of Valorant that are lost in the action of the match.

Skill issue
I got excited by watching the gameplays and I can tell I finally found my next game to stick on. Some people are complaining about how the game is a copycat, its not as long the core of the game is different which allows us to go through the same competitive experience. I played both csgo and valorant and I want to change now and its such a blessing to have another game when you are unable to play CSGO because of many hackers, and valorant for too many abilities where you cant have a proper guns-shot plays. Especially when the new game is coming from Shroud who's popular streamer and who came from the same environment that we did to give us the best possible experience we all NEED in a game. A field that has more competitors is always better for us as gamers, if not, they will suck the money out of you from skins and never improve themselves! Thank you and see you in Spectre Divide :)

I always knew it would be the gamers like shroud that would inevitably make the best fps games. It could only be that. I like the scopes, the fast and responsive mobility to everything, the no nonsense screen shake or crosshair bounce. Zero sacrifice to gameplay for realism sake, love to see it. I'm not generally into cs style fps games but I'll be trying this.
The Diversity of having a second body is amazing, defusing, healing, different guns, taking space, getting info. WOW! as a CS and valo, player its been one thing in ranked I HATED. The feeling i have to FLASH, entry, Clutch, plant, and smoke But i only have one life one charter. This game really tackles this issue having access to two is incredible. I'm pretty sure, you can pop a deep flash with the character Tarik was playing for yourself. LOL The mind games are endless and as a puppetmaster type of player this is my type of game. CANT WAIT! looks great so far

@@o0Ashkey0o Nah. Valorant is a Hero-shooter with the basics of CS and has nothing in common beyond the basic "tactical" shooter element to it.
Here are some examples:
Iron-sights
Different agents with different classes and abilities which allow for different plays.
Maps don't have anything in common especially something like Abyss.
Shooting feels completely different and patterns are not similar in any way (Except maybe operator and sheriff)
Stun mechanics and weapon removal effects.
