Boy, when I tell my friends the first time I played Portal 2… I literally felt like I was in a different world so emerged with the game
I was looking at the Steam review of Deep Rock Galactic and saw it had better reviews than Elden Ring and that surprised me. But I love it! Keep the beer flowing and let's all dance together! Rock and Stone!
Shouldn't be surprising. Elden ring is extremely hard for average gamers. Games of that scope and difficulty rarely even pass 90% positive. Most of the highest rated games are easy, simple indie games with not much room for failure lol
Get To It, Bro, keep up the good work. Collab soon?
I was expecting like some substance. Thanks for simply reading basically a wiki and adding nothing additional insite.
His channel is called get to it. Never seen him before but based on that I assumed he would get straight to short form facts. Plenty of people do the long-form content on these sorts of things.
If you’re expecting thorough explanations for 50 different games in 11 minutes then you’re actually insane.
Great video. Awesome games. Quick info. 👍🤟
Glad you enjoyed!
Most of these I know of and expected to be on here then suddenly PEOPLE PLAYGROUND
you provided a list in the description. thank you for this
Terraria is the most addicting game ive ever played. Once you get into that game, you cant get enough
Credit to Terraria. It has over 1 million reviews on Steam. I haven't seen a game that surpasses this. Pls do reply if you have one, as I'd like to get it lol
ok Counter-Strike 2...
I have it
Well,it's very cheap+get so many discount and cheap bundle compare to most of other games
So not really a surprise
I would be more surprise if the price is more than 50$ and they still get 1 million reviews
@@dereknichols4376yeah that too and it also comes with tmodloader so you pretty much get the base game and then way more with mods
So many games I thought were on here weren't but many games i did not know nor play were on here
DRG mentioned: FOR ROCK AND STONE
IF YOU AIN'T ROCK AND STONE YOU AIN'T COMING HOME
STONE AND ROCK!
I haven't played all the games but my favourite ones are Subnautica and Portal 2. Absolute masterpieces. Looking forward to play Dave the Diver and Ultrakill.
POSTAL 2 MENTIONED ! I Loved this game so much !
Out of 52 games, I’ve played 9
Gotcha BEAT!!! I haven't played a single one of them!!!!
Well, that's a good number I would say. Our time is finite we cannot really play all of them, rather we should enjoy the time spent playing them.
@@charlesballard5251 dang it
I've played 5, beat only 3
@@charlesballard5251 Dude, you need to, at least, bucketlist that stuff. They are genuinely _all_ practically perfect games
Take a shot every time you hear the words "procedurally generated".
STARDEW VALLEY IS GOATTTTT
Pretty decent list, ONI is such a comfort game
Did not expect Portal 2 to be the best reviewed game. Love to hear it!
Surprised divinity original sin2 wasn't included
It’s too good for this list
6:11 FOR ROCK AND STO-ONE!
ROCK AND STONE TO THE BONE
No outer wilds?
Only has 58k reviews, need to convince more people to play it, and record their let's play for me to watch.
@@Sheamu5 I would suggest you not to wacth lets plays as its a enigma game. Lets plays could easly spoil you big parts of the game. Once you resole the game you can't appreciate the game the same way ever again
@@Sheamu5 yessir, lets plays of this game are too addicting
@@theoschleifer6244 its trash
This is a pretty insane list. Shows that “best” is highly subjective.
I love seeing matpat in one of your videos again :)
a lot of games I think I might actually buy xD
i played a handful. subnautica is def a hidden gem. story is amazing. the world setting and develeopemnt of it all. i guess u call it the progression is amazing.
kenshi i felt was left off that list. wonder where it ranks. 95+% reviews but only 71k reviewers... damn. def a hidden gem many neglect as well. many say its like rim world. i played both i guess its about as close as u can get to kenshi. it just a game like no other. open world, story around to learn as u progress. unforgiving. no hand holding. no missions, ur not the hero. the world will go on with or without you. yet u can also influence everything around you various ways.
@@NotHappening-b8tI thinks it’s difficulty is why it isn’t on this list 😂
definitely buy hollow knight and celeste (which should be on list too imo and is really cheap on sale right now)
@@NotHappening-b8t subnautica is really good, if you like it then u should try the forest. I another great survival horror.
Definitely get BeamNG if you:
Have a decent PC (required)
Like cars
Like crashing
i wanted to say where is KENSHI....... but they only have 71k reviews...... but they do have over 95% rating. which i thought was the case. over 1 million copies sold... so disapointed only 71k reviews.
I got kenshi a little while ago and must say its great game but for most people its pretty difficult or not their type of suffering simulator 😂
Kenshi is way better than some games on this list ... but yeah is kinda hidden gem even tho was popular back in the day
True, that game is a gem ! Luckily Lofi is making a Kenshi 2 !!
Did you guys ever make a review on stream? My account is old as steam is and I never did anything like it. So for me it is no wonder that many games have no reviews. For some games I find It crazy that they get the amount they have. For the mainstream crap it is normal like god of war and freeloader games.
it's amazing that from the top 50 games on steam there is only like 3 or 4 AAA games and the rest it's all indies
Are u drunk dude?
Half of these game from big devs
The other quarter from small dev with big publisher
Only a few truly indie games
U cant call some game indie if they have big publisher
Most Indies aren't able to get 100,000k reviews
BeamNG isn't AAA but it definitely isn't an indie game.
@@unrenownedc AA?
It's Lara. It's Lara Croft.
But my trigger aside, great video and great to see so many non triple A rated ganes getting the recognition their hard work warrants. 👏☺️
terraria is truly a perfect game IMO. i dont play it much anymore, but it was a massive part of my childhood
Not gonna lie, a lot of games with overwhelmingly positive ratings are pretty over rated
To be fair, if a game is pretty over rated, it is probably in this category exactly because of that.
Yea people love to meatride mediocre indie games now.
@@forwardmoving8252 ok name a mediocre indie game from this list
I seen terraria In there
You should've included the number of reviews, the positive to negative reviews, and the date the game was released that way I can clearly see what and how big of a game it is now, and when it came out.
The fact my favorite game is 1 placement below hollow knight one of the most popular indie games ever is heartwarming seeing drg gets its respect rock and stone miners
My taste for games is exotic after watching this video.
00:40 It's not Laura Croft, it's Lara Croft. Completely different names...
08:01 It's BINDING not bLinding...
Seriously it's like a bad AI bot made and read this
Who is Laura Craft?
No clue.
Lara Croft 🤦♂
Hopefully this is satire
People playground..? Yeah right, chatGPT...
This is based on good reviews and amount of reviews, people playground has a 98% (overwhelmingly positive) review count and 235k reviews. Therefore that its in the list
Really shows how much people love procedurally generated levels
