I love how you explain everything well and shorten the video as much as it stays understandable

Im learning a ton from watching these, thanks. But can you show how to make the tracks work on this? I tried on the tiger 1 from that other video, and its a disaster. I tried watching your videos on track rigging but nothing works. I think part of the reason is that the wheels are so close together and interlocking on the tiger 1. If you could show how to rig these two, that would be awesome, then i can finally do something with these models.
Thanks again for these awesome tutorials though, you’ve got a talent for blender and for teaching.

Are you referring to the physics rig videos? I could make another video for that. The constraints rig should still work the same though, but let me know if you have trouble with that.
      Thank you for your comment

I tried both ways. When i try to constrain everything, the wheels spiral away, not like their out of control and exploding, but as if some other entity is driving them. Part of that may be their overlapping design. As for the physics, i had some success on a test rig, but when i tried to apply the same physics to the tiger they blew up. That time, i definitely think it was because of how the tigers wheels overlap. An american or soviet tank design probably doesn't have these problems. Due to school and work I haven’t been able to get much blending done, but this was the first problem i wanted to fix. There are only three videos ive found on yt on how to rig tracks, and two of them are yours. You did pretty well with teaching me how to model the tiger 1, if you could teach us how to rig the thing that would be twice as awesome.
I think the physics rig looked the best, but at this point if i could get it working either way i’d be happy. I can post a video when im out of work of what ive got. The tracks and wheels will turn when i rotate the empty sphere, but i cant connect it to the tank in any way.
Thanks for reading my comments! Its awesome that you respond!

Would you model the Shturm-S military vehicle?

Please tell me why I have stretched some tracks in front and behind, before this was not the case.

so is this modeling workflow suitable for game engines? Is this a mid poly workflow? there's no baking and making traditional hp models..
