Just one thing I noticed. The turret is wrong. From the accounts I remember, the tank used the Turret with rounded cheeks. rather then the one displayed which has flat cheeks. Otherwise wonderful.
Early models used the rounded Krupp turret (it is an error to call it a Porsche turret). It was replaced with another Krupp model turret (less rounded) erroneously called the Henschel turret.

I always thought that real tank battle strategy is for the smart people and I consider it to be completely out of my league. The US and allied armored devisions had excellent training. Very good story telling here.
The first moment, I started thinking, "Why the hell am I watching War Thunder?" Turns out 10 minutes of this is better than an hour of playing War Thunder.
The tiger 2 tank’s gun was designed around the 88 PaK 43 which the tank’s gun bare the name KwK 43 or tank gun 43 , it’s basically a modified pak 43 small enough so it can be fit inside a tank , the tiger 1 on the other hand has a redesigned Flak 88 that were redesignated as KwK 36
Imagine the shock the crew of the King Tiger must of been in, they never thought their tank would be disabled by a Sherman and what makes it worse is they can’t move or shoot anything now
It is true that tigers had a lot of mechanical problems and were often abandoned or easily destroyed because they broke down. But in battle these problems didn't make a difference for the allies, both tigers were a nightmare even if you were in a tank that could out maneuver it. Now imagine seeing a tiger II and a Tiger I at the same spot, it's something you'd only hope to see in a dream.
Military History Visualised does a good touch on this topic as well I'd say. Ther German tanks were effective when handled with care. It was just that the effectiveness was too good such that the enemy never bothered for a fair fight. Hence, why these heavy tanks often broke down before they ever saw combat. Simply put, they were forced to pursue the enemy when they were clearly designed for head-on engagements. It sounds the same when from a practical standpoint its far too different.
This was true for many tanks, not just tigers. T-34 for instance broke down more often than the tiger did. Ofc, you never hear about it since its meta to criticize the big cats.
@@WorkersofAmericaRise It helps having the factories nearby though they lost 90% of all the 60000 they produced. Its a bad tank that got its legendary status because it was there and because the soviet union wanted to export it post war. The sherman wiped the floor with it in the korea war. It was in all respect a terrible design.
the Sherman firefly could knock out a tiger 2 with it gun from reasonable range, I don't think they installed jet engines on these tanks lol, the top speed of the Sherman was around 46 km/h (29 mph)
Sherman fireflys didn't have charges for Ammunition they had shells, let me explain a charge is when the projectile (shell head or bullet) is separate from the casing (propellant for the round) and the shell head twists on and can be loaded and fired (only for extremely big guns 120mm to 183mm gun calibers) they had shells that can be loaded straight up and fired without the twist on shell head.
What impressive quality and storytelling. Please make a video about the Greek sergeant Dimitrios Itsios, in April of 1941, he alone killed 232 Germans covering the retreat of his comrades, until he surrendered because he... runned out of bullets! German commander cowardly shoot him with his pistol.
Evil will not dominate while men like Gorman and his crew are willing to stand up and be counted. The ram against such a heavy tank is close to suicidal. The fact that Gorman kept on fighting, until compassion for a fallen comrade moved him says so much about his character.
I get that they didn't know this at the time, but the 75mm could have likely penetrated the side of the King Tiger/Tiger 2 with an AP shell, which would have likely rendered it inoperable. Same goes for the Tiger 1, which had even less armour on the side of the turret, and the Panther, which had only 6cm of armour on the side of it's hull.

So happy to see this channel continue growing. I remember when there wasn’t any videos. Such a joy this channel is!!! Thank you !!!
If I can't beat you with my tank rounds, *then I'll be one.*

Damn you guys really fired off the videos this month! This one has got to be the best so far if I were to rank them. The animation was flawless, and woo boy the scenes with the shells hitting the tanks and penetrating are better than the show "greatest tank battles" ! Damn you guys out did it especially with this story, another one that I have yet to hear of!
Keep up the great work! Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!
The quality is better than most big budget films.
Tiger II : *second heaviest tank on the european theater
Sherman commader : imma ram it
I'm guessing the Maus is the heaviest.
@@winchesterchua3311 nope. The Jagdtiger was. The Maus never saw combat, so under a technicality, the Jagdtiger was by far the heaviest tank of the war.

Imagine being the commander of the Tiger Ausf II (King Tiger) thinking you’re indestructible before looking to your side witnessing a Sherman fire before hitting you spraining many of your bones before fleeing in absolute shock
That firefly commander has big balls
That was quite a story. Thank you for bringing it to us.
This is what you call pure quality. Thank you guys for the great VOD.
Everyone on comments appreciating the yarnhub job rather than appreciating the king tiger/panther/tiger drivers for keeping the transmission working without breaking it
I actually saw this on reddit, I'm glad i was able to get more information about it here on this channel.
This channel is a gold mine for these types of stories
Absolutely amused for this new video! Although it would be nice to have more Östfront stories rather than 'MURICA's and BRI'ISH. Good job beforehand Yarhub!!
bri'ish????????? *spongebob music starts playing*
Bri'ish
*BRI’ISH*
😐
Gee, why do some people hate on covering the western front just because it's the most covered? Every front has its cool moments
Man these animations are getting better and better every video!! I can’t believe how far this channel has grown since I first found out about it! Keep up this amazing work!
Damn, look ath those animations
I remember when this channel was 2D and it already was good
These stories are insane and the animations are even better!
That 88mm round breaking sound barrier is superb animation. 👌
The British forces: *Hey remember the Japanese kamikazes striking the navy? Well we will do it but this time with tanks*
Also this is an amazing video, praise the animation, also congrats, I heard the voice acting
Edit 1: I changed American to British to the fact that the 5th Armored Brigade is from the British forces
Edit 2: Wow...it has not even been an hour and I got 20 likes, thanks
Edit 3: 50 likes..a new record, thanks, and wow
Edit 4: stopped at 54 likes, neat, Merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone!
But the 5th Guards Armoured Brigade here in the video is from the British Army...
Oops...I’ll edit it
The fact I put in the Japanese kamikaze’s is the British participation in the Asian WW2 Front

When king tiger 🐅 renamed by Sherman German tank vs Enemy Wow Amazing Animation 👌 Semma Super story narration 👌 Semma Super Hatsoff To Yarn Hub Team to show history of tiger tanker
Those shots following the shells are top notch
Just one thing I noticed. The turret is wrong. From the accounts I remember, the tank used the Turret with rounded cheeks. rather then the one displayed which has flat cheeks. Otherwise wonderful.
Early models used the rounded Krupp turret (it is an error to call it a Porsche turret). It was replaced with another Krupp model turret (less rounded) erroneously called the Henschel turret.

Can't wait for Sabaton to make a song about this! Y'all's videos keep getting better every time! I think I've learned more war history from this channel alone than all of my history textbooks combined!
Sabaton tends to not make songs about shitty lies that are disproven by photos of the aftermath of the incident.
Your content are absolutely the best in this platform!.
Thanks for hearting me!.
I always thought that real tank battle strategy is for the smart people and I consider it to be completely out of my league. The US and allied armored devisions had excellent training. Very good story telling here.
I love when they camouflage themselves, waiting for the perfect time to attack
The driver was too brave that he didnt even say anything after commander said ram it,just straight up ram onto it without hesitation
Proper Guards moment
Please make more WW2 Tank stories, you make them amazing!
The first moment, I started thinking, "Why the hell am I watching War Thunder?"
Turns out 10 minutes of this is better than an hour of playing War Thunder.
10 minutes is better than not playing war thunder (war thunder is negative fun, playing it results in lower fun).
Your graphics keep getting better and better
The tiger 2 tank’s gun was designed around the 88 PaK 43 which the tank’s gun bare the name KwK 43 or tank gun 43 , it’s basically a modified pak 43 small enough so it can be fit inside a tank , the tiger 1 on the other hand has a redesigned Flak 88 that were redesignated as KwK 36
Idk why but i call shermans potato tanks
Think ur mind is at the 2015 War Thunder April fools event
Totally they look like potatos
Imagine the shock the crew of the King Tiger must of been in, they never thought their tank would be disabled by a Sherman and what makes it worse is they can’t move or shoot anything now
1:06 Not only King Tiger but it is Panzer Family
Sherman: Kamakizis into side of a Tiger 2
The welds on the Tiger 2: *I have come to the conclusion that I want to commit unalive*
commander really used the tank to its limits lmao
This is some sweet animation!
Or a nightmare
@@benjammin3381 however the t-34 wasn't as complicated and could be repaired as easily
The 35 ton Sherman was useful against the tiger and panzers cuz it could maneuver easily and it has a top speed of 105 mph
the Sherman firefly could knock out a tiger 2 with it gun from reasonable range, I don't think they installed jet engines on these tanks lol, the top speed of the Sherman was around 46 km/h (29 mph)
@@mr9263 true tho
Excellent graphic illustrations, perfectly synced with a suspenseful narration
Sherman fireflys didn't have charges for Ammunition they had shells, let me explain a charge is when the projectile (shell head or bullet) is separate from the casing (propellant for the round) and the shell head twists on and can be loaded and fired (only for extremely big guns 120mm to 183mm gun calibers) they had shells that can be loaded straight up and fired without the twist on shell head.
You need to do full length biographical movies in your style. You are leagues above some movie studios.
That German commander wanted to improve his team kill ratio, as if 232:0 or 232:1 would make any difference. Pathetic.
Saluze to Dimitrios Itsios!
That statement is wrong on so many levels it's actually disgusting
Loving the new voice acting, keep it up
Evil will not dominate while men like Gorman and his crew are willing to stand up and be counted.
The ram against such a heavy tank is close to suicidal.
The fact that Gorman kept on fighting, until compassion for a fallen comrade moved him says so much about his character.
Gunner: Sir we cannot penetrate the target with our cannon! I suggest we...
Commander: R A M I T
Loved the video however just a quick note, the königstiger used a kwk 43 cannon as it’s main armament. Keep up the great work dude!
I get that they didn't know this at the time, but the 75mm could have likely penetrated the side of the King Tiger/Tiger 2 with an AP shell, which would have likely rendered it inoperable. Same goes for the Tiger 1, which had even less armour on the side of the turret, and the Panther, which had only 6cm of armour on the side of it's hull.
love your videos! keep up the improvement!
If u are out of options ram the enemy tank and pray for ur life
