Too many comments on a year-old video for this one to be seen by many; however, here is my cautionary advice about lucid dreaming: Take care of your health so that having lucid dreams is simple and easy. What I say is completely based on personal experience, and here is the short version. When I was young, high school and younger, I could lucid dream at will. It was easy. I could also tell myself to wake up at a certain time in the night and I would. These skills never failed me until I began to abuse my nature sleep cycle. University, the military, pets, children, any bump in the night, the logistics business -- I loved them all except for the logistics company, and they all helped me to wreck my health and lose those cool abilities. I'm sure the eating habits that come with being up when you should be asleep also contributed. As I recover from all that, I find I am on the cusp of being able to lucid dream again.

Today was the first time that I ever felt lucid. I was doing reality checks and it became clear to me that my non-action was a powerful action. Knowing that I am dreaming gives me complete freedom. I don’t need to push any agenda. I’m just enjoying this dream I’m having
This is the best technic for me for sure. I had a lucid dream the first night, but it was unstable and I woke up pretty soon and could barely control anything. Two nights later and I had another lucid dream, but it was stable! I still had a hard time controlling things but I am looking forward to improving. So awesome! Thanks for the tutorial
It os really an amazing experience but the problems that a face are false wakening or i can control the dream even if i know I'm dreaming it's really hard to control the dream
@@AngelAnari wish it did. I don’t know why I can’t but for some reason I can’t do it. There are so many people that are able to do it with less effort, but no matter how hard I try, it won’t work. I gave up quite some time ago.
Dude I just wanna say i'm really glad your back. You taught me how to lucid dream years ago and today, I have had 7 lucid dreams this month and I thank you for that. Keep up the good work man, thanks.
One time, when I was 9, I had a lucid dream without even realising. Literally, I was dreaming about me in a plane that is about to crash. After a few moments, the plane crashed down on my house. *my house* For some reason I told myself that it was a dream. Then suddenly control it somehow. Then I started riding by bicycle in a giant field. That time, I didn't even know what lucid dreams were. I must say, that was a great experience. But I've never had it for the second time. Now I'm trying to do using this channel's vids. I wanna thank the owner for making such wonderful and helpful vids ❤
Bro, thank you so much! 🎉😆 I had a nightmare last night and I wanted to wake up, but then I thought about you. I thought about having a Lucid dream, then I instantly became “friends” with the monster, he was really nice. Then I talked to the NPC next to my house and said that he was in my dream, he said “ehh WHAT!?”. Then I flew away, thank you so much for this amazing experience! 🎉
I like to avoid nightmares by imagining a friendly creature, or imagining that the person chasing me is an old friend from elementary school, and that usually helps control the nightmares
1.Set an intention- focus on the thought " the next time I am dreaming, I will recognize that I'm dreaming" 2.Recall a dream u had last night month or whatever 3. Pick a point in a dream or made up scenario where u realise you're dreaming # Write your dreams everyday to improve dream recall

You were probably one of my favorite lucid dreaming channels out there, and the fact that you’ve returned only days before I finally had my first lucid dream just makes it better!
I just learned i have been lucid dreaming every night without knowing... I was always able to tell my self i was asleep, and could wake up anytime i wanted. I used to control people, and usually fly. Thanks for this new piece of info!
Same! This just made it easier, when I was younger I knew I was asleep, but didn’t know how to control or remember my dreams for next time, I’d say this helped a bunch!
@@DemonaIity yep! You can barely tell the difference and sometimes fall for it thinking its real life, but if you're able to lucid dream correctly you can snap out of it and tell yourself that it's just a dream!

@@Newchannel-jt3uc Yeah but it isn’t exactly easy trying to lucid dream when he only posts on a meme channel. I like the Beluga channel, don’t get me wrong but if there isn’t anything recent about Lucid Dreaming, it’s just trying the same methods over and over again which may not work for some people so they need to be updated on recent methods to see if it personally helps them.
I have a story for you: I was in a dream, without knowing it was a dream. But at one point I heard my mother, and I knew she shouldn't be there. It was at that moment that I understood that I was in a dream, therefore that I was having a lucid dream. For 2 to 3 minutes nothing incredible happened. But at one point I remembered how to make someone appear (thanks to one of your videos). So I tried to bring up Michael Jackson. But I did not succeed. Because instead it's Macgyver, the one from the most recent series. This is where the best happens. I was so excited that I opened my eyes. But, I woke up in another dream, not lucid this time. It was my story.
Holy Macaroni ! This worked for me the very first time I tried it this afternoon and the results were wonderful. Thank you so much. It was a big help that I had my first experiences with lucid dreaming just 2 weeks ago and so had a dream to bring vividly to mind. I set my notebook on my bed (no nightstand), set my intention to wake up my consciousness when dreaming was going on and thought of my most vidid lucid dream and when I thought of the moment when I realized iI was a dream and happening in my head. While Reliving that moment I took my afternon nap ( I'm 83) and with a smile, went to sleep. Then the intention kicked in about 40 minutes later and I began watching myself do some amazing stuff, glowing, flying apart, coming together, drifting through the sky, all in peace and relaxation. Then the original stimulus/dream began again (there was a lady involved) and it took off from there getting better and better, drifting through others like a mist, etc. and all the while I knew it was a dream. I might have even nudged it to go here and there with the thought "this is nice. let's go over there". And 'dreamlike', it went there. 😃 Thanks again.
Whoof. I tried all this last night and I didn't manage lucid dreaming, but I woke up from random dreams 4 times total. I feel like this is a good start. Thank you for this tutorial because it's clearly good stuff.
@@HamzaZaid-n2n I'm also new to this, but I feel like a good step to do is saying it out loud instead of in your head. Instead of thinking you wanna fly, demand to fly. (I think this is how it can be better)

Dude, I have missed this channel beyond belief, so happy you’re back, I’ve been really into lucid dreaming for like the past year, and your videos opened the gateway into it for me
I used to get 3-4 lucid dream in a year and after following this tutorial experienced lucid dream 3 times in past 2 days in which I exprienced flying and many fun stuff. THANK YOU BELUgaa ! ❤❤
Thank you so much for making this video, after you made this, lucid dreaming got into my mind and when I went to sleep i got my first ever lucid dream. I recommend to everyone to try lucid dreaming it's one of the best experiences you'll ever have and you'll never feel so alive 🎉
I like this method. I was off the lucid dreaming train for a few years but started having them again about 9 months ago after discussing dreams frequently with a friend and starting my dream journal again. The reason I like your method? Because, I realized a while back that, yes, it's often when something totally out of the ordinary seems to occur in the dream, that's when I get triggered. The dream might not make sense in 'real life' terms, but usually there's some level of internal consistency in a dream. If that consistency breaks down and you can catch it; that can alert you to the dream. A few recent triggers for me have been when I'm leaving a building, I realize I've forgotten to take something with me and, going back to pick the thing up, I suddenly realize that the building has disappeared or I am completely lost and can't find my way back; or if I am in a place and wonder how I got there, but have no clue how I traveled to that place; that kind of confusion has alerted me to dreams.
Thank you so much for coming back! I tried this method last night and I had not one, but TWO lucid dreams! Even though I tried, they still slipped away sooner or later, but I'm working on that :) Oh and for anyone else like me, I had this result without even waking up at night, so I can assure you it still works!
Wow, this tutorial is just amazing! I tried this tonight just for fun, but it really worked! Just for a few seconds, but.. I guess it’s not that bad, because it was my first try. Tutorials like this never worked for me, so this one is definitely the best (in my opinion). I’ll definitely try this again!
Just commenting to say that even through i've had lucid dreams before your videos have helped me remember to not get too excited! i ended up having two back to back lucid dreams last night while just thinking about your method, not even doing it Whoops, but just being so aware and remembering what i had learnt from you made my dreams last longer and im starting to get more control over what i do, so honestly, thanks alot!
Can i tell u smth. I got lucid tonight But instantly it got black and got a tingle feeling and then woke up. I tried finding out What that tingle was and it says it is sleep paralysis. So i had it for a second

nuh uh, this is how MY luciding dreaming goes: 1. where the hell am i 2. oh its a lucid dream and am in my house 3. stare into the mirror in the bathroom 4. get traumetized for life 5. wake up 6. rethink why i looked in the mirror 7. think about the face for 10 minutes 8. and again
@@ManuGamer4923 oh my gosh I've never looked in mirrors. I've got to check that out. I wonder if my sub conscious will conjure up my face or an eldritch horror 😂
I'm an experienced lucid dreamer and I tried this- fuckin worked on the first try. I watched it before bed, did all the steps, and had a lucid dream. It also has significantly increased my lucid dream success rate, even when I'm not trying very hard Not bad, kid
Thanks! I started yesterday and instantly had a lucid dream.although it doesn’t work as others does.I can somewhat control it but my brain makes something complex even though I expected something casual and easy.I think my brain makes the dream as something that I really want to do in real life without me properly thinking and reciting it.
Top tip for people who struggle.I recommend you get in the most comfortable position possible u can and probably keep the sheets over you so you’re not itchy as much
@@Tommyret if for some reason you have an itch, try to ignore it, itches are a mechanism from your body to test if you're awake, if you don't scratch it your body will deactivate, you will enter sleep paralysis but don't worry, just imagine a peaceful place, imagine you interacting with it and without even noticing, you will be there and you will be lucid dreaming
#1: prepare to sleep. Turn off the lights, make the bed, open the window, etc. #2: meditate, clear your mind #3: close your eyes and try to remember the dream you had last night and if you can't remember another one you had or create an imaginary scenario where you have powers. #4: make your mind believe that you are dreaming tips: say things like: I will have a lucid dream tonight, I am dreaming, I am in a dream, etc. but do not use mantras that have negation or your mind will be wrong. Take a notebook and write down all ur dreams! Good luck everyone!💗
@@gotrickrolledyeah it's not impossible, it took me two weeks. The more importance your mind gives to becoming aware in a dream the higher the chances are to get a lucid dream. Keep a dream journal, try to remember the last thought before falling asleep and keep on trying because you're not losing any time trying to lucid dream. It's just going to sleep a little differently
Good vid. Just noting that journaling of course can be done in any format, from physical to digital to audio. The humor is great in this BTW. Enjoyed the music in this as well. Love having a solid MILD video here! Of course, controlling the dream is a separate skill from actually getting lucid. Enjoyed the video. Will share it. :)
@@brushwanderer_1 Indeed. It is definitely minimal. Only a few minor things that I personally disagree with, and they're pretty small. One's a nitpick on journaling, one is the title not mentioning the method, and the other is using controlling dreams and lucid dreaming synonymously when they are separate things.
You can also journal using the phone in the morning. I never liked writing by hand myself and my handwriting suck. I also rather not have my journals easily available for everyone to read...
"Use a dream you've already dreamed" My only dream that I remember: I'm in a purple tower on a full moon night, with vampire friends, a spider, in a city fighting another vampire who wants to kill me. Super normal...
I was watching your videos so much, every morning, night, and you left for a looooong time. then I went back and finally saw you upload more content. i'm so happy you started uploading content again! because of your videos, I had 6 lucid dreams (the fifth one was mixed nightmare and a dream) and your content made me have my dream of eating a new chocolate again (kinder bueno milk) in my lucid dream. I had so much adrenaline bursting I almost woke up! but then I saw your content again, I quit lucid dreaming and now get regular dreams, but since you are uploading more content soon (like this) I will stop sleeping at morning from today. I still have alot of dream recalls, I already remember my 6 lucid dreams and I can imagine it again, maybe i will have a good dream recall and restart lucid dreaming. I got a new book for me to write my dreams in, it's small though, but I will write these dreams until I actually start to lucid dream again because it gives me ideas to do in real life and it makes me happy when i wake up from it. Since I finished my long 10 months of school, I have a vacation and I will sleep early to lucid dream again and continue writing down my dreams until I lucid dream again, since I saw this video, this will motivate me to lucid dreaming again! Thanks for reminding me this so I can sleep early, write down my dreams in my new Dream Journal, then I will start to enjoy again, finally after one year of practicing over and over and watching a lot of videos from you, I lucid dreamed! So you are MOTIVATING me into lucid dreaming. Thanks. Now I know how to lucid dream well! Thanks, I missed you, Thanks so much, It really means to me, Thank you so much for teach us how to lucid dream, you are an absolute LEGEND! Thanks so much. But, my ADHD can't really focus on dreams and sleep, but you told us to meditate and I searched up how to stop ADHD, I will meditate everyday and loop everything, Dream Journaling, Dream Recall, MILD Technique, Meditation, Sleeping Early. Now I will loop these things all day until I finally lucid dream again! Then maybe I will stop? Maybe not? Let's see. Thanks so much legend.
Ayo you came back, and thanks for the helpful video! Also, yeah keeping a dream journal is a crucial step. When I returned to practicing lucid dreaming and dream recall back in July, I bought a dream journal and decorated it. Anyways, I would get 5-6 dreams per night. 7-8 if lucky. I would also get lucid sometimes. Throughout July and the start of August, I've had 11 lucid dreams in total. While practicing, I've re-watch your videos, and it helped me, so thank you! ✨️
@meghajain7892 ok. Well, first, do you keep a dream journal? I'm asking cuz it is a very crucial step and will help you in the future. Every morning when you wake up, write down your dreams. You may not remember most at first, but if you keep doing dream recall, you can remember a lot of dreams. Ok, so when writing, write it all down. If you can't remember, write down any thoughts or feelings. Ok, so why is dream journaling important? So once you have a couple of dreams, go through them and see if there are any dream signs. If there is, it can be a useful tool to become lucid. Ex: My dream signs were words, so I became lucid when they popped up and did reality checks. Next step: reality checks. When something seems off, count your fingers or pinch your nose. Make it a habit so that habit can be carried in the dream world. In dreams, you can breathe while pinching your nose, or you may have an extra finger. Also, have a mantra like "I'll lucid dream tonight" or "I'll remember my dreams". Also, if you wake up in the middle of the night, that's the perfect time to try lucid dreaming. After or less than 30 mins of waking, just lie down in bed, don't get excited, or you'll never sleep, do your mantra, and go to bed. There are a lot of techniques to lucid dream, like WILD OR MILD, etc. Lucid dreaming comes with trials and error, so don't give up, and good luck!
Recently had my first lucid dream and it was something to experience. Ended up in my childhood home and was running to everything being mind blown about how real everything was. I even went outside and tried to fly (which for some reason was difficult but I did end up getting in the air and flying around my childhood neighborhood).. Definitely want to experience that again so that’s why i’m here.
Usually whenever i realize I’m in a dream i wake up but one time i realized and i felt this sort of suctioning like i was being pulled out but it went away and I lucid dreamed for a good 5 minutes before i woke up and it felt awesome, hoping it replicate it here.
Hey again! I know that you posted this… 8 months ago.. but I’m happy your back! Ik you post frequently on your beluga account which is fair enough because you hit 10 million! Your channel is honestly the best and I wish you good luck for your beluga channel. But also I ask you to please post more on here too! Please and thank you! Kiera.
So glad you are back! Im a regular lucid dreamer but hadnt had one this week. I watched this video then took a nap and what do you know. I was lucid! Thank u bro :)
idk if im weird but i can instantly lucid dream by just imagining it regularly as images in my head in everyday life, and if i think of it long enough it turns into an ACTUAL lucid dream
I totally recommend dream journaling on your phone because it’s more easily accessible and you can search words and stuff and see whenever whatever happened, and you can also search people’s names and see everything they did and it makes great conversationS
Thanks for the video, i will put this on practice. Also, you mentioned that wake up in the middle of the night isn't bad for your health, well... you're kind of right, that doesn't affect your healt, what does affect is viewing any source of light in the middle of the night (yeah, including your cellphone) that's definitely gonna disrupt the circadian cycle and affect your recovery and the secretion of melatonin. Again, good video and very useful ❤
@Ster3166 if you know it's a dream it's a lucid dream but you can still be a bit dumb because it's a dream and forget about being able to do anything etc.
Hi, last night I had a crazy experience (for me) while trying to LD. I’ll tell you: I was my 2nd day trying to lucid dream, so I tried a new technique. I think it’s called MILD, and what I did was repeating “today I will have a lucid dream” for over an hour. This was the only thing I thought. Later, now trying to sleep, I imagined me in previous dream realizing it is a dream and doing cool things. I slept normally. But here it goes the cool part. I didn’t have an alarm, but I randomly woke up at around 3:00AM (this was like 5 hours after sleeping). Then I thought I was very lucky and I also tried to do either the Wake Back To Bed method or the SSILD method (I don’t know what it was). What I did was to stay 5 minutes out of bed and then focus on seeing, hearing and feeling (and repeating in cycles). I don’t know why, but I got more stressed, because my heart beats were super fast and also I couldn’t control my breathing. I wanted to go slow, but it was automatic and I breathed fast. Then (I don’t know how much time passed), my started slowly to get more and more tired and moving was 10x times more difficult. But my brain was completely conscious. I didn’t opened my eyes until I woke up (2 and a half hours later) because I didn’t want to have sleep paralysis. It seemed so strange. I wasn’t in a dream, it was all dark. Then, I started to get very hot until the time I was almost burning. I tried to remove my blanket but I almost couldn’t move. Until I felt like the blanket was slowly removing. It was…floating? I don’t know because I kept my eyes closed, but surely it was only a feeling. I didn’t try to focus on a dream, because when I do that, I start to get high heart beats and fast breathing. But later, I tried to focus on dreaming the most. And I was completely focused, but just when I started seeing something, I heard a strange loud scary noise that made me loose my focus. The noise was a mix of being electrocuted and turning a heavy old machine on (i think I explained it well). After that I had random thoughts until I woke up. I didn’t have any dream because I remember my thoughts during the night and I didn’t remember any dream. Also if I had a dream it would become lucid because I was conscious. To summarize, when I tried to Lucid dream I had very fast heart beats and fast breathing (that I couldn’t control). But, was it normal? Was it safe? I was awake or sleep? Could you guys gime me any advice on how to not to happen that again? Thank you so much! P.S: I in fact opened my eyes, but only one and for less than a second. I saw all white, what happened?
There is a very thin "barrier" between LD and OOBE so that loud noise could be starting up to have OOBE. Many ppl are afraid of that. Study Monroe institute and his techniques.
I only have had one experience with lucid dreaming so far, where it only lasted a few seconds before i woke up. I've always been fascinated by dreams and have wanted to try this out for a while so i hope it works. Good luck future me and everybody else trying to lucid dream :)

I have a story for you:
I was in a dream, without knowing it was a dream.

Good luck, I hope you can achieve your dreams! (literally)

Even though I tried, they still slipped away sooner or later, but I'm working on that :)
Oh and for anyone else like me, I had this result without even waking up at night, so I can assure you it still works!

Thanks for reminding me this so I can sleep early, write down my dreams in my new Dream Journal, then I will start to enjoy again, finally after one year of practicing over and over and watching a lot of videos from you, I lucid dreamed! also no way this video is close to a year old, i remember when the goat came back

Now it's an entire year old
Ayo you came back, and thanks for the helpful video! ✨️
Can you please tell me in a simplified manner how to lucid dream please? I want to get lucids also it seems very fun
I'm just shocked about the numbers, and i have a question, are they all diferent ?
@@evianelbogoss like different dreams? Yeah

Omg nobody is reading all that bull crap
well you should calm your self down, maybe you were feeling a little stress because you were too focused?
Maybe don't try lucid dreaming for at least a while?
@@noahsdragonfruit meanwhile me wanting to be lucid so bad... reality is boring sometimes

YES! I have not lucid dreamed yet but have always wanted to. Maybe because I am deathly scared of sleep paralysis.. Also glad you’re back!
Just be confident that you can beat the living crap of it

I only have had one experience with lucid dreaming so far, where it only lasted a few seconds before i woke up. I've always been fascinated by dreams and have wanted to try this out for a while so i hope it works. Good luck future me and everybody else trying to lucid dream :)
did it work?
@@bluehalo3718 It took a few tries but i got it eventually. It works best if you wake up early then go back to sleep
