I watched this vid yesterday at 2am and boom I had my first LD. I was trying for months and now it finally worked! I think that the part of the false awakening really helped me. I did MILD with WBTB. I fell asleep only to realise that I woke up. I did a reality check to see if it was a false awakening. It was. I realized that I only could walk slowly and with little gravity. I wanted to fly, but I decided to go to school. Spawned there, but then the dream was turning into a regular dream. I'm so fricking happy that I finally did it after months of trying. For all you people out there who think they can't lucid dream. You can! It's just a matter of when your first LD will come. Some lucky bastards get it the first night others might wait months like I did. Never give up and keep believing in yourself. You can do it!💪
"Do a reality check." Me in a dream: ah yes i have 20 fingers, the dogs are flying outside, and my house is a bizarre mirror image of the one i usually live in, this is a very normal and boring day
bro my 3rh lucid dream was fucking ruined by a fucking computor that had a fucking mirror i thought it was just a normal computor but no i was a blue tf2 spy in greenhill zone apparently when i looked at the monitor my lucid dream charactor commited tf2-enemy-explosion-spy.exe and there was some sourt of scp 096
Holy crap this worked. I casually watched, woke up earlier than usual, did some sense focusing stuff briefly, went back to sleep, had a lucid dream. Wild.
It's been a while, I can't remember at all what happened. But it felt like sudden clarity, but inside a dream. Like oh I'm in a dream and nothing is real here.
3 days of dream journalling : I can see the huge results. I can remember my dreams better than before and they are more vivid. Last night I saw three dreams and the last one was the most awesome. I was in a vet's shop. I was sitting in the bench with the other pet owners. At last I was able to recognize that I am dreaming but the dream ended. I am so excited what will happen tonight. Tip : You should keep a dream journal.
Lucid Dreaming: 1. Wake up 4-5 hours since you went to bed 2. Get up, walk around, stretch, do whatever for 5-10 minutes. 3. Go back to bed. Get into a position you don’t usually sleep in The CYCLE : 1. Focus on sight 2. Focus on hearing 3. Focus on touch 4. Repeat 5 times The CYCLE(again): 1. Focus on sight 2. Focus on hearing 3. Focus on touch 4. Repeat 4 times 5. Spend extra time with each step. Somewhere aoudad 30 seconds. Remember to reality check!
Hey, can you help me 🥺 I understand a little English but I don't understand The cycle again. Do I focus on the sight for 30 seconds and open my eyes and reality check and continue with another sensation, or did I focus on all three sensations four times without opening my eyes? And after finishing the 4 cycles I try to fall asleep as quickly as possible? I do not know if you understand me, sorry little compression, I hope not to bother you :c
You can drink a lot of water and sleep, then you will have to wake up to go to the bathroom :) Im not a master i just heard it works and actually makes sense lmao
Bro I literally remember lucid dreaming in five seconds when I was scrolling through shorts and put my phone down to give my eyes a break. I fell asleep and had a “false awakening” where I continued watching RUclips shorts until I actually woke up. It was weird.
For those who want to delve into lucid dreaming, I have a warning for you. If you get good enough at it, your dreams will become mundane and boring. They may even become repetitive in the same dream, going over the same thing. I stumbled upon the concept ages ago, and practiced it, only to find that my conscious mind, my rational side, interferes with my dreams. Though I've tried to stop, I can't seem to unlearn what I've learned, and my dream life is no longer as creative as it once was before. The subconscious is vastly more creative than the conscious. Don't interfere with it at the risk of permanently ruining the fun of unchecked creativity the subconscious mind has. It's like taming a beautiful animal, only to realise that it was the wild animal you truly loved, simply because it was unpredictable. I realise this is only my experience, but I wanted to share it as a caution to others of what may happen.
Oh my gosh yes!!!!! I will literally get frustrated because I get stuck in one random storyline and cannot logically find a way to move past it, basically what I had to do was convince my mind that it makes perfect sense to do a sort of jump cut, kinda like when movies cut to a black screen, therefore allowing me to continue from wherever I want
Step 1 Go to bed : and set an alarm for 3 am also go to sleep at 9:00 preferably (oh btw if you dont want to set an alarm and make noise just drink water 3 cups and if you sleep at 9:00 youll wake up at 3 that works too) Step 2 Wake up: when the alarm wakes you up stay awake for 5 to 10 min during this time you can use the bathroom walk around or strech a little but dont scroll on tiktok just wait normally Step 3 Return To Bed: Return to bed and lie dont in a comfortable position i suggest picking a different position than the one you normally use (if you have trouble falling asleep you can lie down normally) Step 4 The Cycles (IMPORTANT): First Close your eyes and pay attention to the darkness behind your eyelids stay relaxed Focus on the darkness do this only for a few seconds and then move on and then focus on the noise if theres is no noise just listen to static noise that your brain creates and do this only for a few seconds and then move on and then focus on touch feel the blankets weight do this 5 times and then do these 4 times but do it slower Step 5 Sleep: Go to sleep Step 6: IF YOU WAKE UP MAKE SURE TO DO A REALITY CHECK IT CAN BE A FALSE AWAKENING Mistakes Beginners make: 12:40 EDIT: GUYS OMG I TRIED THIS TONIGHT AND I ACTUALLY DID IT NEVER GIVE UP
Summary of the Technique: Preparation: Go to bed early, set an alarm to wake up during REM sleep (4-5 hours after falling asleep), and then stay awake for 5-10 minutes before going back to bed in a (potentially) different sleeping position to signal your intent to lucid dream. The Cycles: Perform a series of sensory focus cycles upon returning to bed, concentrating in turn on sight (the darkness behind closed eyelids), hearing (any internal or external sounds), and touch (physical sensations). Repeat these cycles, initially quickly for five times and then more slowly and deliberately for four more times. Falling Asleep: After completing the cycles, allow yourself to fall asleep as quickly as possible, aiming to enter a lucid dream state. Outcomes and How to Deal with Them: False awakenings: Perform a reality check every time you "wake up" to ensure you're not still dreaming. Waking up for real: If you find yourself awake, immediately relax and try a few more cycles before attempting to sleep again. Successful lucid dream entry: You might become lucid spontaneously due to heightened awareness from the cycles or transition directly from wakefulness to a dream. Mistakes to Avoid: Wrong timing: Attempting the technique without waking up during the night or too early in the sleep cycle. Rushing through cycles: Not engaging fully with each sensory focus, which is crucial for preparing your mind for lucid dreaming. Advice for Success: Patience and Consistency: Like any skill, lucid dreaming takes practice. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work immediately. Journaling: Keep a dream journal to increase dream recall, an essential aspect of becoming lucid. Reality Checks: Integrate reality checks into your daily routine to improve your ability to recognize dreams.
1:15 LUCID DREAMING IN 30 SECONDS 1:48 STEP 1: GO TO BED 2:30 STEP 2: WAKE UP 2:44 STEP 3: RETURN TO BED 3:14 STEP 4: THE CYCLES 3:53 1. Focus on SIGHT 4:33 2. Focus on HEARING 5:01 3. Focus on TOUCH 5:25 That’s one cycle (you need to do it 5 times so 4 more cycles) 5:44 FINAL STEP/STEP 4 6:21 STEP 4.5: SLOW CYCLES (4 more times slowly/30 seconds for 1 sense)
I've apparently been having lucid dreams regularly, without even trying, or knowing about it. I just go to sleep and immediately wake up (to the lucid dream), living my life as normal until i wake up and do it all over again.
@@civexian why he would want to fill time in a 16 minute video? I mean, if the video lasts 10 minutes I understand, but its 16, he literally have no reason to do it to fill time
For anybody who believes that this is just clickbait, or doesn't work, remember that the worst that can possibly happen is that you fix your sleep schedule.
I really like this comment because the same thing applies to church. Anyone who doesn't believe, the worst that can happen is you leave with the same opinion you entered in.
@@springb0nnie837 Sleep schedule makes you wake up at 8 am (for example). If you will wake up at midnight or do something else while you normally are asleep, your sleep schedule will change and make you wake up at 10 am (for example). So when you fix it you will wake up at an hour you normally want to wake up and not 5 am or 6 am. Hope this helps!
I have lucid dreamed 2 TIMES in my life without even knowing lucid dreams exist and both times I thought "This is a bad dream I better wake up from it" instead of simply changing it into a life changing experience, I am very sad lol
Same that happened to me way too many times I’ve only had a good lucid dream but I was to young to understand and got a little confused why I woke up in my dream so I asked everyone to help me wake up. I think that was my first lucid dream now I wish I stayed longer
Thanks, I'm gonna try it today Edit: I went to sleep at 2am and when my alarm clock ringed 4-5 hours later I think I overheard it and didn't really wake up, BUT: I still had my first real lucid dream today. I think it's because I really thought about it much today and was really invested into the topic. I also did a lot of reality checks over the last few days. The dream wasn't really vivid and clear, it was very very blurred and I didn't have exact control over what I wanted to see/do. However, I still realized several false awakenings and managed to stay in my dream for a minute or so to make cool experiences. I think this video still helped me, even if I "failed" first. Thanks!
One time I realized I was dreaming, just because I thought about lucid dreaming a lot and I really wanted to do it. Thing is I didn't think I had any power and just woke up 20 seconds later. Missed opportunity.
I told my dream character that he is dreaming & I even show him how to reality check with my finger & it worked he was very interested & wanted to know more. It was awesome
wait no this si better thoguh! because when you wake up in middle of night, you are most likely waking up directly from a dream; this would be the perfect time to do the technique, take advantage of that.
When I was a teen, I got really into lucid dreaming; because I had a major problem with falling dreams that were causing me so much anxiety that it was affecting my waking hours as well, and it happened almost every night. I got to the point that I would automatically realize I was dreaming, if I started to have a falling sensation (I never had a major fall like in the dream while awake, or that could have been confusing.), and I could just stop it in some way. Once I realized this goal, i stopped working on it, but twenty plus years later, I still automatically can stop a falling dream. As an adult, I suffer from severe nightmares that are related to PTSD, and they are bad enough that they have caused dissociative episodes when I wake up. I started taking a medication called Prazosin that kept me from having the nightmares, but I developed health issues that made me stop taking it. The dreams have begun to get out of hand, and I thought back on lucid dreaming and how it helped before and decided to give it a shot again. I have been following your videos and have learned a lot. I've been keeping a dream journal for the last few days, even when I had nightmares that I didn't want to remember. Last night, I had my first breakthrough. I had a nightmare, but the three really bad parts in the dream, instead of making me feel traumatized and heartbroken, just made me mad; because even in the dream, my thought was, "That was just deliberate bullshit meant to upset me.". It really robbed the nightmare of its pain. I am hoping that this is a breakthrough for the whole process. Thank you for the help!
When I was like 4 or so, I literally had nightmares every night, and at some point I got just as annoyed as you like: Oh come on man, can this monster just shut up? 😂
@@parisestebanvegalaborin6200 I've been able to get myself to stop my connection to nightmares. At the point at which I would normally start to reach a traumatic level and wake up in filled with anxiety or panic or even to the point where I'm disassociated, I have now been having a reaction more where I can hear myself say, "You're doing this on purpose, just to upset me. **** this.", and I wake up, without the panic. This is a huge personal success. As far as actually reaching lucid dreaming, I was doing quite well and then had a setback. I have been using a symbol on my wrist that I check throughout the day as my reality check. I started to have a nightmare that I've been having for about ten years now, and I stopped myself in my dream and said to myself, "Nah, this seems too familiar. This is that dream, isn't it?" I then looked at my wrist... and that symbol was right there. And then I was like, well dang... I guess, it isn't that nightmare... it's real. Then I fell much further into buying the dream. I haven't been able to come back from that yet.
@@DogFlamingoXIII A symbol on your wrist is not a good reality check, its very likely that the symbol will be there even in your dreams as you mentioned. You should try counting your fingers and if that doesnt work try pushing 1 or 2 fingers through the palm of your hand. If you're in a dream your fingers will go through your hand. Hope this helps keep it up
@@benhoho9349 I use LUCID LIVING And i meditate daily 2 times 60 minutes It feels really easy to lucid dream Now i lucid dream every night And, I stopped using techniques But the progress is getting better
WTF BRO?! I tried literally dozens of techniques, but in the FIRST night I tried the technique of your video I had the first lucid dream in years. I was in some kind of shopping, I went to the bathroom and out of nowhere I wanted to do a reality check. I put my fingers up to cover my breath, but for some reason I couldn't breathe, which led me to believe that I wasn't dreaming. But just to be sure I raised my hand to look at it and saw that I had seven fingers. My fright was so great that I forced myself to wake up, fighting against the sleep paralysis. I repented of the irrational fear I had and did all the steps again after waking up and AGAIN I had another lucid dream, this time longer. I was at home, and when I looked at my hand again I became lucid. Before waking up I flew through my house, and then through the city. I don't know exactly what's different about this technique, but it worked for me. Thank you.

I had my best Lucid dream last night, and I can say that this guy is not exaggerating, lucid dreams can be as vivid as real life, and you can't see the difference.
Dude I tried this last night and I lucid dreamt effortlessly. I looked at my hands and they looked weird, just like in the video. I decided to watch the whole entirety of atsv with Miguel o Hara, and we literally just chilled for what felt for an hour or so. Thank you so much for showing this technique!
Cool I watched allot of stuff about lucid dreaming and thought about it allot yesterday, then I was pretty sure it was a lucid dream cs I saw ppl from a while ago at a place I never go to anymore, so decided to punch some guy in the head, but couldnt get my guard up I woke up instead so sad
@@DarkGamer-iy2qu I'll be honest I've never lucid dreamed before and it just sparked an interest in me but I don't have dreams so I wonder if I'll be able to do it
I also watched it yesterday and I slept at 10:00 pm so that I don’t mess up, I tried all these steps and had a lucid dream. I commented on the “6 things u should never do in a lucid dream” that I had a lucid dream, but no, it was a normal dream. Now, my first lucid dream was short because I forgot one and one REALLY important step…don’t get too excited. I woke up in my bed, in the morning, and I was sad I didn’t have a lucid dream, then I did the reality check and WOAH, I WAS in a lucid dream! And then I started shouting in the dream: “YESSS LUCID DREAAAM!” But..I woke up in reality from the lucid dream since I got too excited. Thank you for the tips, will try them today again! And sorry if I wasted ur time.

I used to lucid dream alot in my early 20s with complete control, i could even fly. I had a three year period where i had no dreams at all and now i’m having very vivid dreams again and am very excited to start lucid dreaming again your content is very helpful!
same! I used to lucid dream all the time back 7ish years ago, then I stopped remembering my dreams for years and now they came back, but my lucid dreaming didn't, so i'm trying to learn it on purpose now.
@@jonsboy7844 Yeah, it works. I've only had it happen twice in my life. It's quite... interesting actually. It was just a regular day, I was having a dream, and suddenly I just became conscious. It was out of the ordinary, nothing even happened in the dream. I just felt that I was I a dream, and after realizing that well. I had the whole world to myself. The rest I think you can guess. But yes, Lucid dreams are actually real, and quite scary in a way. You know, suddenly gaining consciousness, it's kind of disturbing.
to sum it up for anyone: you need an anchor (something to think of) think of something in you room, for example the warmth of your blanket the hum of your fan if you have one sock on you can think of the heat of your foot etc. you can also use a mantra (a saying of motivation) like "I will lucid dream" etc. lightly think of your anchor so you can fall asleep while still having awareness and consciousness. so when you fall asleep consciously you will enter directly into a dream with awareness. [if that makes sense] to lucid dream you need to be in R.E.M sleep. to get to R.E.M sleep you ether have to set an alarm 4-6 hours into your sleep or you can drink a crap ton of water so you naturally wake up then while still dazed think of your anchor and bam! it should work PS. I have lucid dreamt before so you can trust PPS. this may only work for some people everyone is different. hope this helps😁
I used to lucid dream naturally all the time when I was a kid. I sort of discovered how to do it since about 7 or 8 years old. One of my first and most memorable ones - and I remember it clearly, as if it was a real event (one of the advantages of lucid dreaming. They form memories unlike normal dreams that usually fade away). I was in front of my house, playing with a kid from across the street when I realised I was dreaming. I said to the kid "Hey, this is a dream!". He said "No it isn't" and a typical argument that often takes place between a couple of kids ensued. I was really frustrated that he couldn't see that it was a dream. I think about that dream a lot. It happened nearly 60 years ago. The modern day paradigm that we may be living in some kind of simulated reality really interests me. Dreams are a type of simulated reality where some really crazy stuff happens, yet we just accept it (lucid dreamers notice some of these odd things and that usually triggers a lucid dream). The funny thing is that if a person had reason to believe that the world and universe was a simulated environment and if he/she told their friend from across the street, quite possibly an argument would ensue...
Yep that's real. I know many lucid dreamers who reported the same thing: the 'NPC's in their dream became nervous - sometimes even hostile at the dreamer - at the thought of being in a dream. Like in the movie Inception. I've never had such experience, I usually alone in my lucid dreams.
As someone that regularly lucid dreams, but has no control within those dreams, this was incredibly helpful, and I finally gained control over myself and my actions (and some of my environment) for the first time last night
steps listed for those who are coming back before bed: step 1- go to bed and set an alarm to wake up in 4-5 hours. step 2- wake up when your alarm rings. stay awake for 5-10 minutes. step 3- go back to bed and lie down in a different position than your usual one. step 4- focus on the darkness behind your eyes, but do not move them as it will wake you up. focus on this for around 10 seconds. next, focus on the sounds you are hearing for around 10 seconds. finally, focus on the physical touch you are feeling (your blanket, your pillow, etc) for 10 seconds. repeat this sensory cycle five times. step 5- repeat step 4 but take 30 seconds with each sense. return to your most comfortable position and try to fall asleep as quickly as possible. from here, you should either wake up in your room or you will wake up in a different dream location with heightened awareness. if the latter happens, you will become aware that you are in a dream either instantly or soon after you enter the dream. from there, you will have entered your lucid dream. if the former happens, perform what is called a reality check and count your fingers. if your hand is slightly discolored and/or you have more or less fingers than you normally would, you have entered your lucid dream. if you do not, you are awake and have failed to lucid dream. *DOs:* -embrace random thoughts and physical feelings. don't push them away, they are signs that you are getting closer to your dream. -remain calm. if you get too excited, you will wake up. -expect nothing. lots of people go into steps 4-5 expecting to see, hear, and feel things, but this often ends up hindering the chances of the dream succeeding. -if you fail and wake up after doing a reality check, stay in bed, repeat some of the sensory cycles (each sense lasting for about 20 seconds), and try again. -if you lose track of how many cycles you've done, don't stress out, just start again from the last cycle you remember. -do not be discouraged if you fail, try again the next night! -keep a dream journal or other method of remembering your dreams, lucid or not. *DONTs:* -skip straight to step 4/perform the method without setting the alarm. -rush through the sensory cycles. -become discouraged if no hypnagogia (strange/abnormal sensory sensations) takes place. -focus on hypnagogia too much. -add steps or mix in other techniques unless you are an experienced lucid dreamer. *REMEMBER:* the odds are in your favor with this method! don't lose hope :)
Me: peacefully watching the video. Ad: "you don't need to learn how to lucid dream you need to remember" I still am wondering how I could remember how to lucid dream without learning how to do it.
@marczoyd it does help with having a dry mouth when doing a technique. It can hurt progress a lot. If you sleep with your mouth open like a weirdo like me you might get dry mouth a lot. I try and drink water before bed.
This actually worked! I had my first lucid dream! The dream was really bad, because it felt like I was watching someone else doing it on a phone screen, but hopefully tonight I shall succeed!
@@eliscips8833 I think you need to stabilise the dream. I've had a couple more vivid lucid dreams as I went on, so it may be something that happens over time. Also, my method is basically if I think about Lucid Dreaming a lot, sometimes while I am dreaming my mind thinks of it and then I realise I am dreaming.
It worked! I had my first lucid dream! although it was a real scary, but you know, I didn't really thought I would dream, what happened is that we had a class teacher absent and were gonna have 1 less class, so I watched this video before sleeping, I meditated for about 10 minutes and then went to bed not expecting a lucid dream, as soon as I got into my sleep I heard a very weird sound (similar to a microphone's zeeeee sound) and I couldn't really see properly (I believe this happened because I only did the first part of my cycle lol) but I was on my bed, thinking it was a sleep paralysis, too scared to notice I screamed and ran to my kitchen (idk why) one thing I failed to notice was that my kitchen was not there, and shaped like it had an exit if I needed to run away. Then it ended and I was on my bed again, after that my mother came with a lady she had some business with, I was telling her that the reason I got away from my bed was the sleep paralysis (which was actually a LD) as soon as I told her that I somehow teleported to a random street but with my senses awake, then it popped I immediately did a reality check, MY HAND WAS GREEN but it didn't last land and as soon as I thought about teleporting to a city, the dream ended and I was on my bed again.
My guy. I have been trying to lucid dream on and off for YEARS. I tried this technique ONCE and had a lucid dream. It was absolutely incredible. Thank you🙏
This technique is so freaking powerful I have a lucid dream almost every night I do it. It’s so powerful that I have to be careful deciding whether to do the entire technique or just part of it, because if I’m too awake and I do the whole thing, I will very likely have a hard time falling back asleep. If I hang the right balance of wakefulness and awareness on the nights that I’m doing this, I can even have a WILD lucid dream. It’s gotten to the point that I’m not even trying to be a master lucid dreamer anymore because together with the other techniques I do, I can lucid dream pretty consistently using this technique. I do All Day Awareness, and dream journaling, and in my dream journal I write down where in my dreams I should have become lucid. I also read my dream journal before sleeping and then I meditate for a bit before sleeping. All this barely gives me any lucid dreams at all, but when I do this technique together with the rest, I’m pretty sure all my other techniques help it to work a lot better.
@@deadshot8887 Random place. But if it’s a WILD lucid dream then I don’t even lose my lucidity. I’m lucid the entire time I’m falling asleep. But even then I dream about being in a random place.
@@Nesath Pretty much. I’ve heard that when you first go to sleep at night you don’t immediately enter REM sleep. But if you wake up during REM then there’s a high chance that when you go back to sleep you will go back into REM.

It happened once, there was a tall, dark figure with a hat (everything was dark) and it started like, lagging in my direction if you know what i mean like, just teleporting a few feet closer 2 or 3 times. And i couldnt move or scream and it was the most traumatizing experience i've ever lived.

Closed/opened one eye at the time - Half awake: It was easier to count my fingers Asleep: My perspective on where my fingers where didn't change. I like this since closing and opening eyes doesn't take as much focus away from being asleep.

I believe i had a lucid dresm for the first time when i was really young, many years ago, i remebers waking up, going to school, then from nowhere i was walking out of the main doors to my school, seeing my teacher i asked ”What day is it today” and i vividly remember her saying ”It’s saturday today”, right at that moment, i think is the moment i realized that i was in a dream, though being young and not knowing what was happening, 7yr me was like, ”Ooohh its saturday, that means im dreaming and if i wake up i can play on my dads computer” and then i tripped on purpose and woke up when i hit the ground💀💀💀, though to this day i have still not been able to recreate this, will definetly continue trying though! Wish me luck, and if you are a newbie and managed to ld, do give me any hints that he didn’t mention, if there is any!
16:01 I watch this video every night before I go to bed since the video came out it’s been about a year I’ve mastered lucid dreaming, and I am now fully lucid now I actually want to sleep every night and now basically I have a 100% chance of lucid dreaming in the daytime too
Kudos to you! I had lucid dreams before and even recently and boi if they feel amazing, I unluckily aren’t at ur level yet but I’m positive and motivated to reach that level!
For me the hard part is interrupting my nice cosy sleep and getting up for ten minutes. The best way to bypass that and jumpstart a LD is to have a sleep partner who gets up earlier than you. Have them make you a tea or coffee. Doze until its at a perfect temp. Drink it all down and then get back to sleep before the caffeine kicks in. When it does you will wake up inside the dream.
Fun fact dreams move X100 faster the normal time but you don't realise it because you forget about 78% of dreams so theoretically if you fall asleep inside of a dream you will be doing things X10,000 faster.
Yesterday i had a lucid dream, then "woke up" from that dream in my room but i was still dreaming(I knew that after I really woke up because my room looked different irl) then i slept once again and had a lucid dream inside that dream because i knew i was dreaming, and that was a 3h sleep and felt like 30 min
Dream has a dream that he will go to dream about Dream having a good dream tonight, but Dream is only able to dream the dream he wants and not go to sleep and dream because he drank 15 ounces of liquid sugar like 5 minutes or so ago idfk. I give up making this funny or something.
Step-by-Step Technique: Prepare for the Night: Go to bed early, ideally before 11 PM, and set an alarm for 4-5 hours after falling asleep. This targets the REM sleep phase. Wake and Reset: Upon waking, stay up for 5-10 minutes to engage your mind. Walk, stretch, or use the bathroom. Lie down in a new sleeping position to avoid falling asleep too quickly. Perform Sensory Cycles: Focus on three senses in cycles: Sight: Observe the darkness behind closed eyes. Hearing: Tune into internal or external sounds. Touch: Feel physical sensations like tingling or your heartbeat. Repeat this sequence five times to prepare your mind for lucid dreaming. Deepen the Cycles: Perform the sensory cycles again, spending more time on each sense (30 seconds each). Stay calm and allow thoughts to flow naturally. Fall Asleep: Lie in your most comfortable position and try to fall asleep quickly while maintaining a relaxed mindset. Outcomes: False Awakenings: Common with this method. Perform a reality check (e.g., count fingers) every time you "wake up" to confirm if you’re dreaming. Interrupted Sleep: If genuinely awake, repeat shorter sensory cycles (20 seconds each) to re-enter the dream state. Lucid Dreaming Success: Heightened awareness from the technique increases the likelihood of recognizing dream irregularities or directly transitioning into a lucid state. Hypnagogic sensations (e.g., falling, noises) often occur as a precursor. Common Mistakes: Attempting the technique during the wrong sleep phase (e.g., before REM sleep starts). Rushing through the cycles, reducing their effectiveness. Expecting extraordinary hypnagogic sensations and becoming discouraged if they don’t occur. Focusing too much on hypnagogia, which can distract from the dream state. Combining this method with other techniques prematurely. Additional Tips: Maintain a dream journal to enhance dream recall and improve future lucid dreaming success. Follow the method precisely as described to maximize results, especially for beginners. Avoid excessive screen time before bed to protect sleep quality.
Omygod, it worked. It actually worked! I had my first LD after watching this! And just like he said, it was a false awakening. I legitimately thought i woke up for real without dreaming, but then I did a reality check. I was so frickin shocked out of my damn mind, and even if it was a demo-like LD, it still was one. This video really helped me thanks:33

Bro it's been over an hour wake up!
I think I’m dreaming right now.
Great, now i'm scared to do this
@@botondzoltannagy8849 i mean, doing it one probably won't do anything, right? and maybe your situation is completely different than this person's :)
I don't understand
Oh my gosh yes!!!!! I will literally get frustrated because I get stuck in one random storyline and cannot logically find a way to move past it, basically what I had to do was convince my mind that it makes perfect sense to do a sort of jump cut, kinda like when movies cut to a black screen, therefore allowing me to continue from wherever I want
Alright I’ll keep that in mind thanks bro
Step 1 Go to bed :
and set an alarm for 3 am also go to sleep at 9:00 preferably (oh btw if you dont want to set an alarm and make noise just drink water 3 cups and
if you sleep at 9:00 youll wake up at 3 that works too)
Step 2 Wake up:
when the alarm wakes you up stay awake for 5 to 10 min
during this time you can use the bathroom walk around or strech a little
but dont scroll on tiktok just wait normally
Step 3 Return To Bed:
Return to bed and lie dont in a comfortable position
i suggest picking a different position than the one
you normally use (if you have trouble falling asleep you can lie down normally)
Step 4 The Cycles (IMPORTANT):
First Close your eyes and pay attention to the darkness behind your eyelids stay relaxed
Focus on the darkness do this only for a few seconds and then move on and then focus on the noise if theres is no noise just listen to static
noise that your brain creates and do this only for a few seconds and then move on and then focus on touch feel the blankets weight do this 5 times
and then do these 4 times but do it slower
Step 5 Sleep:
Go to sleep
Step 6:
IF YOU WAKE UP MAKE SURE TO DO A REALITY CHECK IT CAN BE A FALSE AWAKENING

Summary of the Technique:
Preparation: Go to bed early, set an alarm to wake up during REM sleep (4-5 hours after falling asleep), and then stay awake for 5-10 minutes before going back to bed in a (potentially) different sleeping position to signal your intent to lucid dream.
Outcomes and How to Deal with Them:
False awakenings: Perform a reality check every time you "wake up" to ensure you're not still dreaming.
Waking up for real: If you find yourself awake, immediately relax and try a few more cycles before attempting to sleep again.
Successful lucid dream entry: You might become lucid spontaneously due to heightened awareness from the cycles or transition directly from wakefulness to a dream.
Mistakes to Avoid:
Wrong timing: Attempting the technique without waking up during the night or too early in the sleep cycle.
Rushing through cycles: Not engaging fully with each sensory focus, which is crucial for preparing your mind for lucid dreaming.
Advice for Success:
Patience and Consistency: Like any skill, lucid dreaming takes practice. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work immediately.
Journaling: Keep a dream journal to increase dream recall, an essential aspect of becoming lucid.
Reality Checks: Integrate reality checks into your daily routine to improve your ability to recognize dreams.
Thank you❤

@@JesterLegend4lifeyeah I definately agree with you bro
@@JesterLegend4life bro what do you know about this lucid dread?Does it really work ?
I've never had such experience, I usually alone in my lucid dreams.
that's cool to think about
Makes you wonder 💭 huh 🤔 thanks for sharing
As someone that regularly lucid dreams, but has no control within those dreams, this was incredibly helpful, and I finally gained control over myself and my actions (and some of my environment) for the first time last night

steps listed for those who are coming back before bed:
step 1- go to bed and set an alarm to wake up in 4-5 hours.
step 2- wake up when your alarm rings. stay awake for 5-10 minutes.
step 3- go back to bed and lie down in a different position than your usual one.
step 4- focus on the darkness behind your eyes, but do not move them as it will wake you up. focus on this for around 10 seconds. next, focus on the sounds you are hearing for around 10 seconds. finally, focus on the physical touch you are feeling (your blanket, your pillow, etc) for 10 seconds. repeat this sensory cycle five times.
step 5- repeat step 4 but take 30 seconds with each sense. return to your most comfortable position and try to fall asleep as quickly as possible. from here, you should either wake up in your room or you will wake up in a different dream location with heightened awareness. if the latter happens, you will become aware that you are in a dream either instantly or soon after you enter the dream. from there, you will have entered your lucid dream. if the former happens, perform what is called a reality check and count your fingers. if your hand is slightly discolored and/or you have more or less fingers than you normally would, you have entered your lucid dream. if you do not, you are awake and have failed to lucid dream.
*DOs:*
-embrace random thoughts and physical feelings. don't push them away, they are signs that you are getting closer to your dream.
*DONTs:*
-skip straight to step 4/perform the method without setting the alarm.
-rush through the sensory cycles.
-become discouraged if no hypnagogia (strange/abnormal sensory sensations) takes place.
-focus on hypnagogia too much.
-add steps or mix in other techniques unless you are an experienced lucid dreamer.
*REMEMBER:*
the odds are in your favor with this method! don't lose hope :)
thanks, can confirm the first dont is true lol

Also, my method is basically if I think about Lucid Dreaming a lot, sometimes while I am dreaming my mind thinks of it and then I realise I am dreaming.
It worked! I had my first lucid dream! although it was a real scary,
but you know, I didn't really thought I would dream, what happened is that we had a class teacher absent and were gonna have 1 less class, so I watched this video before sleeping, I meditated for about 10 minutes and then went to bed not expecting a lucid dream, as soon as I got into my sleep I heard a very weird sound (similar to a microphone's zeeeee sound) and I couldn't really see properly (I believe this happened because I only did the first part of my cycle lol) but I was on my bed, thinking it was a sleep paralysis, too scared to
notice I screamed and ran to my
kitchen (idk why) one thing I failed
to notice was that my kitchen was
not there, and shaped like it had an
exit if I needed to run away.
I also did a reality check and noticed I had a green hand
Got too ambitious there and it all ended ,😅😅

My guy. I have been trying to lucid dream on and off for YEARS. I tried this technique ONCE and had a lucid dream. It was absolutely incredible. Thank you🙏
You just encouraged me to try it tonight.
Where do lucid dreams start? At the place you slept or any random place?
@@deadshot8887 Random place. But if it’s a WILD lucid dream then I don’t even lose my lucidity. I’m lucid the entire time I’m falling asleep. But even then I dream about being in a random place.
Is waking up again after sleeping a must..?
@@Nesath well, how else are you supposed to do the methods which lead to lucid dreaming

Step-by-Step Technique:
Prepare for the Night:
Go to bed early, ideally before 11 PM, and set an alarm for 4-5 hours after falling asleep. This targets the REM sleep phase.
Wake and Reset:
Upon waking, stay up for 5-10 minutes to engage your mind. Walk, stretch, or use the bathroom. Lie down in a new sleeping position to avoid falling asleep too quickly.
Perform Sensory Cycles:
Focus on three senses in cycles:
Sight: Observe the darkness behind closed eyes.
Hearing: Tune into internal or external sounds.
Touch: Feel physical sensations like tingling or your heartbeat.
Repeat this sequence five times to prepare your mind for lucid dreaming.
Deepen the Cycles:
Perform the sensory cycles again, spending more time on each sense (30 seconds each). Stay calm and allow thoughts to flow naturally.
Fall Asleep:
Lie in your most comfortable position and try to fall asleep quickly while maintaining a relaxed mindset.
Outcomes:
False Awakenings:
Common with this method. Perform a reality check (e.g., count fingers) every time you "wake up" to confirm if you’re dreaming.
Interrupted Sleep:
If genuinely awake, repeat shorter sensory cycles (20 seconds each) to re-enter the dream state.
Lucid Dreaming Success:
Heightened awareness from the technique increases the likelihood of recognizing dream irregularities or directly transitioning into a lucid state. Hypnagogic sensations (e.g., falling, noises) often occur as a precursor.
Common Mistakes:
Attempting the technique during the wrong sleep phase (e.g., before REM sleep starts).
Rushing through the cycles, reducing their effectiveness.
Expecting extraordinary hypnagogic sensations and becoming discouraged if they don’t occur.
Focusing too much on hypnagogia, which can distract from the dream state.
Combining this method with other techniques prematurely.
Additional Tips:
Maintain a dream journal to enhance dream recall and improve future lucid dreaming success.
Follow the method precisely as described to maximize results, especially for beginners.
Avoid excessive screen time before bed to protect sleep quality.
