Oh but one bad lucid dream is when I was thinking of some evil person killing my whole family, my friends and everyone, he tortured me and hung me up on the wall like a picture and I fell to run away he started twisting my body in half and I again woke up sweaty and heart beating a lot

I had a lucid dream once, i looked into the mirror and I saw a little stick guy, he came out of the mirror and we had like an hour long conversation with him, I forgot about what but we became friends, and now I see him in every dream I have, lucid dream or not, one time he was in my dream and I asked him if he was my best friend, and he said yes and then said: "I will never leave your side! :)" and I think he meant it.

Once I had a lucid dream and I thought I was in real life so I normally woke up and did my whole normal day then I went to sleep and lol.. 💀
As a person who self harms.
I had a lucid dream and I was trapped in a room full of people I knew, but none of them knew me.
I couldn't breathe and as I desperately ran across that large room to escape, there was none. That feeling still terrorizes me. There was a huge clock at the end of the room, I ran towards it thinking there might be a door beneath but instead there was a mirror. I let my intrusive thoughts in and I looked into it, my body was bruised, my face had a lot of cuts and small slits. My hands stained in my own blood. The moment I turned around I was every single person staring at me.
At this point my dream broke and I woke up to reality.
It's been 2 years and I'm still haunted my flashes of that dream.

I almost always have nightmares (when i dream which is not often) so in some my lucid Dreams i close my eyes to try to wake up. When it doesnt work i get scared and start thinkig "is this real, am i actually getting chased?" When i eventually wake up i realize the truth. Scary how my dreams can trick me like that.

I had one two dreams of battle,in one I was unarmed, pushing up a street with my squad,sniper on a building in the end of the street,a guy(irl friend,idk why he was there) came with what felt like a Makarov/ppk, gun misfired, I punched him in the face and kicked him in the nuts,took the gun, next thing I remember is me infiltrating a checkpoint,the sniper comes out with 2 girls,I follow him into the general's house, stealth my way in,cut the general's throat,tried to shoot the sniper,gun didn't fire,I got shot.
The second I was in a car with 4 guys,I had a G3,nighttime, vehicle was moving, shooting uphill,green tracers all around,I couldn't aim with the G3's iron sight,so I ask the guy behind me if his gun has a optic,he didnt know what I was talking about,I can't remember the rest but the next thing is that I take a bolt action rifle,pull the extremely light trigger,shot a car door,3 times,then I don't remember anything

Honestly when I always had nightmares I had this idea in mind in dream I could close my eyes longer and then woke up ! And it's actually way helpful !
When becoming lucid I like to change the landscape entirely to a recursive dream or nightmare and basically map out those dreams, it feels weird because you can discover random things in wide open places you can go to, especially in the case where the layout is like your neighborhood. An example of this is like a street you turn on a lot in the real world, but in the dream since your focus on something else you don't bother to go there even though in reality to take that street every day to go to school.

I feel like I lucid dream a lot. I just never remember them, everytime I wake up there's just this feeling of sadness and familiarity, remembering what happened in my dream. But within mere seconds all that fades away into absolute nothingness. I have no memories of any of my dreams, I guess judging by how upset I get once I wake up, it's for the better.

This good tip to use in my lucid nightmare to wake myself up.
RANDOM (hopefully helpful?) TIPS FOR DREAMS:
Mirrors are good transportation. Gotta go somewhere, but you can't quite figure out how to use your abilities to do so? Find a mirror, and ligit just ask your reflection to take you there. If you keep having negative thoughts and you cant seem to do that, think of where you want to go, and run full speed into a situation that would definitely hurt you irl. Like, straight up belly flop onto pavement and get teleported elsewhere. If you're having WAY too many negative thoughts, it might not work, or it might teleport you elsewhere. If this happens, just go with the flow until you have another opportunity to do what you want to do.
For creating people or things, I've personally found its easier to find a mirror in your dream on a storefront or something, then proceed to create creatures or people or whatever you want in that mirror rather than trying to make something appear behind you.
This is why I will always look at a mirror if I'm lucid, because it can be a useful tool to guide you or aid you to do certain things you wanted to do. It can also be a bypass for negative thoughts.
I used to have a fear of mirrors in dreams, because mirrors were always smiling back at me, wide eyed and creepily. Are you afraid of mirrors in your dreams?
IF SO, HERES WHAT I DID:
literally go up to the mirror and let them pull you in.
ALTHOUGH it MAY result in you losing your lucidity and being pulled into a different dream, if you weren't grounded enough, so try to stay grounded. It's good to remember that you can bend anything to your will if you make sure to ground yourself and remember nothing can truly harm you.
THIS CAN ALSO WORK WITH MONSTERS YOU ACCIDENTLY SPAWNED OUT OF NEGATIVE THOUGHTS.
Kinda just go up to them and see what happens. Who knows, maybe your dream will end up taking a fun and exciting turn, like maybe you'll end up going on a picnic with your sleep paralysis demon.
Even if you fear something, heres my advice:
don't run.
Just kinda vibe.
But then again, these tips dont work for everybody, sorry if these didn't work for you if you used them.

Ive only had one lucid dream. My partner had passed away a couple of months previously. I woke up one nit and I was completely paralysed. After struggling to move I realised I was having a lucid dream. After a few minutes my partner came in and I was able to move. We spoke for a few seconds and then I woke up. I had a combination of a lucid dream and visit from my late partner. I would love to be able to do that again.

In lucid dreams ive tried killing people, looked in mirrors, dreamt of memories, gotten excited, made myself think i was in the real but different world, and they all ended up as nightmares, ESPECIALLY the looking in mirror thing, i literally cry anytime i think of what happened 💀
I am actually, as of about a month ago, having a Lucid Dream ALMOST EVERY NIGHT! Basically, it's like I wake up, pretty normal, I'm where I was when I fell asleep, I start my day, all of that. Then, something REALLY crazy would happen, and then I would actually wake up, and it's usually only about a hour or 2 after I woke up in the dream. If anyone can explain more, please reply to this.
my first lucid dream was me yelling “you don’t actually exist” to the whole world and i got onto the news. how fun.

I am tryingluciddreaming today. I was like half lucid dreaming very often before wihout knowing until I asked other people. I can control myself in almost every dream and im concous of dreaming but i cant change my surroundings. And everytime I had a nightmare i just closed my eyes in thedream to wake up.
I often used escape technique in my lucid dreams to literally in a snap get myself to the neutral territory like the outer space. It’s usually goes as the action of intentional falling through the floor to transform the fall into a controllable flight to other more pleasant destinations. But as a long time lucid dreamer with experience of more than 20 years, I don’t try to evoke them on purpose anymore, as I don’t like the growing sense of self awareness in my dreams, and I can’t help but notice how different are my cognitive abilities and time perception when I’m asleep. Of course it’s fun to create miracles, build cities, paint masterpieces and have a romantic moments, but nothing will beat a good healthy sleep. Happy dreaming

Whenever im in a lucid dream, i usually find it hard to control my surroundings. I'm not a lucid dreamer, but confusing real memories and dreams was the plot of one of the few things I really considered nightmares (if it's scary, but not personal it's just WTF at worst and kinda fun at best, not really a nightmare).
I had an extremely realistic dreams where at some point I found out that something terrible (but realistic, like somebody who mattered to me died or got really sick) happened, and after I woke up, I had a hard time figuring out what happened in real life and what was just a dream
Thank you for the video. I actually dream each night 2-6 dreams and once in a while get a lucid dream. I'd agree with the doubting yourself part when i am being chased sometimes in a dream i assure myself i can make myself fly and escape.

Closest thing to a lucid dream I had was a dream that actually turned out pretty nice
I thought this only happened to me, but yes, do NOT look in a mirror in a lucid dream. The dream I had was a few months ago, but when I looked into a mirror, my dream would soon become the WORST NIGHTMARE IVE EVER EXPERIENCE *BY FAR* (I'm currently 15 years old and this dream happened when I was still 15 years old).
The Dream
I know this is gonna sound weird but..this dream started in some kind of circus. I was onstage, but there wasn't an audience. Behind the curtains would be what my brain thought at the time was my great grandpa's house (it looked NOTHING like it at all). There was my grandpa's bed on the left, a black skeleton hung by the throat on the ceiling to the right (I didn't think ANYTHING of it when I saw it so my dream didn't exactly "become a nightmare" before I saw the mirror), then of course, a fancy little mirror about 4 feet tall lying against the wall in the middle. It was the third thing I looked at, the first being the bed and the second being the skeleton. When I looked into the mirror, it was PIXELATED and colorful, there was no reflection. It looked about 64 bits when I first saw it, but when I stepped closer it would decrease until it became 1 bit (the frame on the mirror wasn't affected at all, it was just the actual mirror itself) like some kind of video game. Soon enough, I randomly turned left as FAST as possible and started PANTING HEAVILY. I was looking at my grandpa's bed, underneath it was an OPEN COFFIN. I thought at the time that my grandpa gone insane, broke the mirror (which was why the mirror was pixelated), killed someone, and hung them by the throat. I was having a bunch of disturbing theories that I was panting very heavily. But then..my panting immediately stopped..and I sslloowwllyy looked up at the skeleton with my mouth wide open in complete terror...and saw that the skeleton, turned away from the bed when I entered backstage...was slowly turning towards me...then it all faded away and I woke up to me looking at the ceiling with my mouth wide open. I was TERRIFIED. I thought I was gonna die, it felt SO REAL. I Then turned to the clock and saw it was 3 am. It still gives me chills writing this and I still remember the dream very well to this day. I told my mom the same day it happened and she was laughing at the fact that I was scared of my GREAT GRANDPA THATS 95 YEARS OLD. She jokingly asked if he killed the man and escorted him by stroller. I then realized my dream was stupid and laughed as well.

I've had lucid dreams before but someone on tiktok said to tell the first person I saw that I know I'm dreaming, and so they all turned into lucid nightmares and lasted like less than 5 minutes
I definitely never ever went on a murdering spree in my lucid dreams. Nope. Never. Why would I ever do that?

I've looked into the mirror while lucid dreaming, thinking I was going to see something scary but instead I couldn't even see my own reflection and the mirror can also be a totem to help you realize that you're dreaming, just as the switching of the light
I remember one of my lucid dreams. while I was experiencing it, I ended up closing my eyes, but the dream was still going on, and I wanted to open them to see what was happening, but woke up

I think it is just important not to confuse dream from real. It is okay when you understand that it is a dream and you are exploring a memory within it. I keep a dream journal too, which I recommend, and recording dreams when you wake up helps you realize what your dream was telling you. The memory often has a lesson you need to re-examine that helps you today. It would help you know a real event from a dream some day in the future when you document your life in a dream diary and a real life diary.

When i was little i used to have these dreams where me and my dad died in some sort of machine and it was so stressful every time and i always woke up in sweats and overall pretty traumatizing

I look into mirrors everytime. What I see is my face until I do expressions then the image on mirror either stays still or looks weird. Never thought about killing peoples in dreams gonna try it later😊

Ever since my mom died, It always turns into a lucid nightmare. A way to wake up I use is first realize the dream is a loss, then breath in as hard as possible. If done correctly, you should wakeup mid inhale.
