I taught myself to be ambidextrous- I taught karate for a bit, and some of the katas (routines) were different for left and right handed people. We didn't have a left handed teacher, so I learnt to use nunchucks with my left hand. I then broke my right middle finger in time for my GCSEs, so I learned to write with my left. At the moment, my left hand is stronger and I do print lettering (uniform, letters aren't joined up) with biros and pencils, and my right hand is more technical, and I tend to do cursive (letters are joined, tend to be a bit more loopy) with inkier pens. This happened because inkier pens smudged with my left, so I have different pens for each hand, and write accordingly, it's quite cool.

I think the clasping hands means that when you clasp your hands together only 1% of people have no preference over which thumb is on top of the other thumb. 55% are left handed and 44% are right handed. I think I am one of the 1% but its hard to tell while you're thinking about it
