Hey Jack! I'm a bit late but I can make a roaring sound with my jaw. Its hard to explain how i can do it on command, but it's like a phone vibration inside both of my ears but not as loud. I hope that helps!
I think having a narrator in your head is quite common, it's called internal dialogue and it's the result of brain mechanisms that cause you to “hear” yourself talk in your head without actually speaking, it's kind of like a voice monologging your thoughts also i swear I used to be able to give myself goosebumps on command
5:42 this is called synesthesia, its basically a strong association with senses. for example if you hear a certain song you will see colors in your head. i actually have this (at least im pretty sure havent been diagnosed)
There's multiple types of synesthesia. The most common one I believe is to associate letters and numbers with colours. Basically having synesthesia just means some of your senses are interconnected, but which senses and how many of them may vary depending on the individual.
I don’t think you really get diagnosed as it isn’t a thing that could negatively affect your life (at least I don’t think it does) but there’s lots of different types not just hearing colours.
2:48 I am one of the people that can do this, so I thought I would explain. Essentially, if you force your eyes or your ears back enough, you can hear a low, tv static like noise, kinda like thunder. This noise happens very noticeably in your ear, and for me is fully controlable
I can do the same. For some reason I use it to unblock my ears. You know when your ears are not doing their best and are a noticeable difference. Yeah I can unblock em manually
the hear color and see sound is something i personally have! its called synesthesia and its a condition where hearing sounds such as a C on a piano will cause a certain color to appear in your vision. this happens in multiple forms, such as mirror-touch synesthesia in which when you see someone get touched, you feel the same thing. its actually kinda cool.
@@Utmus Actually, that varies from person to person. Mirror Touch takes many forms, from a tingle to a blasting pain. so i suppose, if someone were to break their leg in front of someone with mirror touch synesthesia then two people would feel like they broke their leg.
2:47 I can do that. It’s hard to explain.. it kind of sounds like roaring but also like thunder. It’s cool but sometimes it happens when a yawn and then it’s annoying.
I am actually one of the few people that can hear colours. The thing I find most funny about it is that I try to explain it to my family, and they end up just asking me what colour a certain sound is every other minute😂 The proper term for it is synesthesia.
Yeah, my band teacher can see colors in sound. I’ve heard a lot of people who can do it actually turn into musicians and such. It definitely has its drawbacks, but it must help in identifying some stuff whether it’s a certain note or song
I have the type of synaesthesia where I can see words as colours and things. It’s hard to explain. It’s called grapheme-colour synaesthesia. I think the sound-colour one is called chromesthesia.
Have you ever “heard” yourself talk in your head? If you have, then you’ve experienced a common phenomenon called an internal monologue. Also referred to as “internal dialogue,” “the voice inside your head,” or an “inner voice,” your internal monologue is the result of certain brain mechanisms that cause you to “hear” yourself talk in your head without actually speaking and forming sounds. While an internal monologue is a common occurrence, not everyone experiences it. There’s a lot that researchers have yet to uncover about why some people frequently “hear” an inner voice, and what it means.
when I day dream I had to make small sounds in my mouth or head to have sound effects but since I dont get that much friends (or no friends) I talk to myself without speaking alot and mostly get emotional thinking about bad things
The funny thing is I actually have a narrator I’m my head similar to the second example Jack gave! I like to imagine my life is a book and I write it in my head all the time🤣
Same! I plan to become a writer someday so I guess that sprouted from it, but still. My brain goes, "She rolled her eyes and clenched her teeth. 'Whatever,' she snarls, like an irritated grizzly," as if I'm in a documentary all the time.
@@aesthetic_writer Oh my gosh exactly!!!!! I want to be an author one day too, and this is exactly what my head sounds like🤣 I still remember one of the first times I did it “I pushed open the heavy door, bracing myself for the sweltering heat, but instead a cool breeze rushed up to me and blew my hair from my face” that was like in second grade and I still do it to this day
I can make a roaring sound in my head, shake my eyes, and give myself goosebumps on command with my teeth, AND flare my nostrils. I think I have a rare body. (At least I think I do)
I actually have sectoral heterochromia (het-er-row-krome-eia) which is the rare rest kind although it was not include on the list. Basically my eyes random spots of a different color iris. In my case it is blue eyes with brown spots.
5:53 Jack it's basically a neurological condition called synesthesia that makes you view/stimulate one sense as another. one of the most common is seeing colours and hearing music. I learnt about it in art class one time when studying about the abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky. I suggest you search it up cuz it's pretty interesting
It’s basically just that when they hear a sound they also see it as a colour and people end up asking soooo much about which colour is my name and stuff
I think you meant seeing music and hearing colours xD Another common one is colour association with words, letters or numbers! To give myself as an example - A is red, B is blue and E is a gradient between orange and blue.
Why jack did u spend like 30 seconds talking about asparagus in pee?! Can we all just take a minute to respect this guy! Most youtubers would cut that out but u kept it in! Great job dude
Jack: Oh yeah forgot the towels in the washing machine Jack's narrator: Jack pondered and suddenly realized he had forgotten the towels in the washing machine Got me laughing
The hearing colors and seeing sound one reminded me of Ryan Met from the band AJR. He’s mentioned his synesthesia a few times and how he pictures different instruments to be different colors (for example I believe he said that he pictures a kick drum to be red. I could be remembering incorrectly though) And he produces all their music, and I’ve watched a lot of clips of him explaining different songs and you can definitely tell he’s a very visual person when it comes to that. Especially in their live shows, they breakdown songs on stage and the animations are always different colors and definitely help you visualize the music. I would assume that the synesthesia probably has something to do with that.
woah that’s pretty cool, and it also makes sense why their songs include so many instruments, I bet it looks like a rainbow of colors when they’re playing
Every single day I sneeze because of the sunlight and I do actually have a narrator in my head and Jack's re-enaction of the narrator in the head was pretty accurate and funny!
So if you know does it mean your head tells you what to do like alright Izi (aka my name) go get dressed that sometimes happens and also I dream when I’m awake and don’t normally dream when I’m asleep
4:20 Damn, my dad has Reynaud's syndrome. He worked with vibrating machinery all his life so that maybe explains it. Basically, his fingers go white and numb when he gets cold.
5:44 Its called synesthesia. I have it. For me, words have colours (eg. Monday is deep purple) numbers have colours (eg. 3 is lime green) letters have colours (eg. A is red) music has colours (eg. I had to sing a song in a musical i did once that was a murky greeny brown) and colours have tectures (eg. Green is sharp) Hope this helps :)
the roaring in their head with their jaw is basically where we can put our jaw in a certain position, like tensing while stretching it, and it creates like a deep pitched white noise in our head that does sound similar to a quiet roar :) also reynauds syndrome is where our blood circulation doesn’t work properly in our hands and feet, especially fingers and toes. mainly the tips get very very pale and it’s hard to use them when it gets cold. alternatively, if it’s not cold, people that don’t have it can push down on their skin and the spot will stay white for a very very short amount of time, whereas those of us that have it, have a white spot for much longer :)
I have Reynauds syndrome, and I get it from my mother. Basically, when it's cold outside your hands (or toes) turn very very pale, and they are completely numb. It's not harmful, it's just quite strange-
In the past I used to do the wiggle toe thing but now I'm not used to it so it's kinda hard to do it. I can tickle myself on my foot, and other parts. That's about it from this video that I know of myself
I'm not sure if everybody who can trigger goosebumps do it the same way. For me, it's sort of simulating being cold. Like mentally telling my body that I'm cold and it just triggers. Goes from top of the scalp first and travels down to the legs in like a second ish.
perfect pitch is probably my rarest. for those who dont know, perfect pitch is when you can name a note played on an instrument just by hearing it. I used to think that everyone had it until 6th grade band class when my band teacher tested me and everyone was very impressed.
I can do the roaring noise with my jaw. My best explanation is that it is a very soft noise, rather than sharp, and it is very deep. I always associate it with the sound of an airplane taking off, or being underwater, but it mostly sounds like you are underwater.
For the hearing colors/seeing sound, that’s synesthesia. It’s a harmless neurological condition. It can actually come in many forms such as- Tasting sound, smelling colors, seeing smells, etc. I my self have this.
I can make a "roaring" noise with my jaw. It's not really roaring though, it's more like rumbling, basically when I tighten my jaw I start to hear this noise in my head. It's not loud but it's still interesting.
5:10 jack, it basically means you can give yourself goosebumps whenever you want (it is weird but if you think about it and want, you get it), i have this btw
2:53 when I tighten my jaw in a weird way a ringing noise starts in my ears, thought it was normal 5:09 I can relax myself so hard on command that i get goosebumps
I have a question is having a narrator in your head like thinking of yourself In third person or just talking in your head kinda Sorry I’m bad at explaining things
I can give myself goosebumps , I sneeze in the sun , can tickle myself , don’t need much sleep , I think I have unbreakable bones because I slipped while running and fell into a concrete wall when I was smaller but never broke anything it just hurt like shit

2:50 I have the “make a roaring noise in head with jaw” I thought it was normal at first, but when I saw this video, it blowed my mind! I normally do it when I stretch or when I yawn. Or I can do it forcefully but I can’t explain how though I also have the perfect pitch. I have been a pianist an singer since I was 10 years old
2:58 I can make a roaring noise with my jaw. I thought anyone could do this, but I guess that’s not the case! I can also do the clover tongue, wiggle my ears, and wiggle my pinky toes individually.
I didn’t know I had Partial Heterochromia, part of my eye is Green and the other Blue, and it’s the same for both eyes but it’s in a cool shape, the blue faces the nose and the green faces the ears, wow, I now feel very special 😀
I have partial hetrochromia to and is brown and blue and somedays I have more brown than blue and other days I have more blue than brown.i was wondering if that happens to you?
@@Jamesj9I have partial heterochromia as well my eyes are mainly blue but I have a patch of green, and I find that it does change sometimes it is very difficult to tell and other times it is quite obvious. So quite possibly a similar thing. Not sure what the change is linked to, but it is noticeable.
My rarest feature is that I can make a rawing sound with my jaw, to the people who don’t understand this is when you move your jaw to a certain spot you can hear a noise in your head which kind of like a quieter version of u cracking your nuckles
I actually have a double hair whorl which has been a bit inconvenient. When my hair is not super short or decently long, it awkwardly stands up in the whorl area and looks bad. I can also burp on command, couldn't do that when I was younger. Just woke up one day and had that ability.
I know it’s insanely annoying! I always have this one piece of hair that sticks up and it drives me insane because I’m already insecure enough as it is about my appearance! Apparently double crowns are genetic, but me and both my siblings are the only ones for at least multiple generations that have it!
Hey Jack! I can actually give myself goosebumps! The way that I do it is think of something that gives me goosebumps, which for me is the sound of biting into frozen fruit. also reynauds syndrome is where our blood circulation doesn’t work properly in our hands and feet, especially fingers and toes. mainly the tips get very very pale and it’s hard to use them when it gets cold. alternatively, if it’s not cold, people that don’t have it can push down on their skin and the spot will stay white for a very very short amount of time, whereas those of us that have it, have a white spot for much longer :)
I thought I had that but it makes like a ringing noise instead.
I have it lol
Same I have it! I thought everyone can do it!
I have Reynauds syndrome, and I get it from my mother. Basically, when it's cold outside your hands (or toes) turn very very pale, and they are completely numb. It's not harmful, it's just quite strange-
Oh! I have that in my feet! I asked my parents, turns out I got it from my grandfather on my mom's side.
I can give myself goosebumbs by just thinking of stuff thats loud
Cool!
that is just sensetive hearing i have that and MANY musicers have that lol thats just common and other ppl
i have that ¨make a roaring noise in head with jaw¨ thing
1:49 this one is more common with blue eyes than any other eye colour
6:06 Madeline McCann had that
I have blue eyes and have it 😂
I’m colorblind and can wiggle my eyes- never knew I was so rare 😂
i can only shake my eyes
Really your color blind what's the color red when you're color blind what's redd
Wow
ME TOO SIS
i can too,noice
In the past I used to do the wiggle toe thing but now I'm not used to it so it's kinda hard to do it.
I can tickle myself on my foot, and other parts.
That's about it from this video that I know of myself
I get goodebumps by having the just-right poop😭😭😭
I actually can trigger goosebumps, and it’s hard to explain
How do you do it?
You trigger goosebumps controlling it or something else?
same its hard to explain its like flexing and then popping like a bloon
I'm not sure if everybody who can trigger goosebumps do it the same way. For me, it's sort of simulating being cold. Like mentally telling my body that I'm cold and it just triggers. Goes from top of the scalp first and travels down to the legs in like a second ish.
For me I have to sort of stretch/stress my lower hip sort of areas and then I get really cold and voilà: Goosebumps
perfect pitch is probably my rarest. for those who dont know, perfect pitch is when you can name a note played on an instrument just by hearing it. I used to think that everyone had it until 6th grade band class when my band teacher tested me and everyone was very impressed.
My rarest is in 6%. I can shake my eyes and it freaks out my classmates 😂
same bro it fr freaks out my friends
my sister can shake her eyes too
my rarest is that I don’t need lots of sleep its 1%
Same
I can tickle myself which is only 7% so it's not that rare, but my sister has amber eyes (5%)
lol there’s a girl in my class who does that……..so freaky
1:11 so you’re telling me people smell their pee after they eat asparagus 😀
I still don’t know how, but I can give myself goosebumps if i concentrate on it.
me too
Cool
Me toooo
I think they are just tingles, not goosebumps. Sorry dude.
I can do the roaring noise with my jaw. My best explanation is that it is a very soft noise, rather than sharp, and it is very deep. I always associate it with the sound of an airplane taking off, or being underwater, but it mostly sounds like you are underwater.
It’s like trying to scream while there’s a plane out
i just play cultist base using my jaw roars
For me it sounds like a yawn except nobody else can hear it.. Well.. yawning underwater kinda.. It's difficult to describe..
For the hearing colors/seeing sound, that’s synesthesia. It’s a harmless neurological condition. It can actually come in many forms such as- Tasting sound, smelling colors, seeing smells, etc. I my self have this.
SO I'M NOT ALONE🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
What does yellow smell like
@@not_a_simp316 grass or milk
What does brown and blue smell like
@@noobgroupclub I have the seeing sound type.
Making roaring noises with jaw is me
I can make a "roaring" noise with my jaw. It's not really roaring though, it's more like rumbling, basically when I tighten my jaw I start to hear this noise in my head. It's not loud but it's still interesting.
i like to describe it as a thunder clap after the loud bang passed, it’s kinda like that lasting bit
@@Whayose950 Yea I agree
I can do that too!! Never knew it was rare tho thought everyone could do it 🤣
When I first did it I thought I had cool superpowers lol 😂
Same

5:09 I can relax myself so hard on command that i get goosebumps
Same I can make a roaring sound😀
1:32 I’ve got a narrator in my mid!
I have a question is having a narrator in your head like thinking of yourself In third person or just talking in your head kinda Sorry I’m bad at explaining things
@@k8thegr8_1 It's like, when you read things you can hear them in your mind
@@willowkinnie4life wait I thought that happened to everyone ty tho!

And I can make a roaring sound in my head with my jaw
I can't give myself goosebumps on command
Never thought that giving myself goosebumps on command was a relatively rare thing but the more you know I guess
Yeah I didn’t know that either
Sheesh you can do that 😳😳😳😳😳😳
I can give myself goosebumps on command, I didn’t even think it was rare until watching this video

Or I can do it forcefully but I can’t explain how though
I also have the perfect pitch. I have been a pianist an singer since I was 10 years old
so do i but i can also tickle myself
bro same here i thought it was normal too lol. i can also give myself goosebumps on command
For me it’s kinda like you tense your upper jaw or open your mouth and tense a tiny bit
I don't have roaring but I have pop jaw
SAME BRO
2:58 I can make a roaring noise with my jaw. I thought anyone could do this, but I guess that’s not the case! I can also do the clover tongue, wiggle my ears, and wiggle my pinky toes individually.

ohh yea, so i am not the only one with the jaw thingy!!
I can also roar in my jaw

I have it as well i think, when you look at my eyes, they apper green but under a microscope they are brown- i think it is central heterochromia
My rarest feature is that I can make a rawing sound with my jaw, to the people who don’t understand this is when you move your jaw to a certain spot you can hear a noise in your head which kind of like a quieter version of u cracking your nuckles
Kinda same
My jaw can click and make the roaring sound, it sounds like blood rushing through my ears
@@-_Blitz_- yeah smth like that
I actually have a double hair whorl which has been a bit inconvenient. When my hair is not super short or decently long, it awkwardly stands up in the whorl area and looks bad.
I can also burp on command, couldn't do that when I was younger. Just woke up one day and had that ability.
My friend has a double hair whorl as well
I know it’s insanely annoying! I always have this one piece of hair that sticks up and it drives me insane because I’m already insecure enough as it is about my appearance! Apparently double crowns are genetic, but me and both my siblings are the only ones for at least multiple generations that have it!
0:18 I can wiggle the toe
1:33 I have narrator head
2:59 I can tickle my self with my feet
2:00 Its called sunshine sneezes

Hey Jack! I can actually give myself goosebumps!
The way that I do it is think of something that gives me goosebumps, which for me is the sound of biting into frozen fruit. Somehow I get goosebumps every time and I never knew that that is an uncommon thing... thank for another extra upload this week, I always look forward to the "comparison" videos!
I can to!
I can too but I think of the sound of two metals things banging together
I can by making the inside of my skin cold even when it’s hot
i get goosebumps when i think of two dry wooden items being rubbed together :D
