As teenagers we think we know everything
As adults we realize, nobody knows anything"
My grandad used to say : I know nothing and you dont know even that hit me pretty hard after he pass away :)
As a kid I never thought adults know everything as I saw through their failed attempts put on a show that they know things, as a teenager I think the more know, the more I know about how less I know! I donno how I'll be an adult but I'd prefer to remain a teen if possible

He's perfectly correct though.
humanity seems to be heading nowhere.
sports,and everything else,means nothing.
@@sariahlace5944 Does it really mean nothing? Even if the athlete finds it enjoyable, even if spectators find it entertaining, is it fair to say that it means nothing? Personally, I would argue that it does mean something.

One of the most minor questions of the video but one of the ones I definitely know the answer to
“Did we discover time or invent it”
We discovered time as a concept since time always exists even if it’s not being measured. We invented measurements for time like seconds and days to give it meaning and to make it more convenient to track necessary events.
Well said.
i think we invented it bc in the video he
mentions our mind and how we can trick it into
really anything so my theory is someone or
maybe even god himself invented it so we can
have some structure and the reasoning to
move forward, so when we are born we are
imbedded to the idea of time but in reality
what if it's our mind tricking us into thinking
it's there and moving but in reality there's only
the right now
could be wrong as fuck tho
@@jonathan1690 you think we invented one of the main forces of the universe?
@@PeachDragon_ Yes, I don't believe the idea of time to all of a sudden to just have started and that is what keeps us moving forward, it was invented to give us a sense of direction (almost like religion). Unlike other forces of the universe you cant prove time imo
My mother used to wonder my fascination with colorful arts. It's not until a decade later we learned that I inherited the recessive genes that allow me to see more colors than her or even most people (thanks to my art teacher). And that saying a lot cause my dad sees even fewer colors variation... It turned out my grandfather from my mother had the gene. So, yes. Not all people can sense the same things in the same way others do. It's just sad that I didn't take art school and went to medical instead...
0:12 EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN THINKING!!! How do we know that we see the same thing when we look at something?
Mixing colours and brain stimulation
We create our own reality. “We are what we think. All that we are, arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world. Speak or act within impure mind and trouble will follow. As the wheel follows the ox that draws the card”(Buddha)
Until you peer reviewed your reality
One of the most thought-provoking videos I've ever watched! Thank you so much for sharing your perspectives ♡
If you're 5 year old then sure... really thought provoking XD
I've personally asked a neurologist what makes humans different from other animals, and he said it was the ability to reflect on ourselves. Go outside the box and study in.
Let's appreciate the amount of money he probably had to spend on stock footage for this amazing video
You can get stock footage for free.
@@vickielawson3114 For stock footage that professional? I'd be very, very surprised if it was all free.
@@creamyhummus And I'd be very surprised if a RUclipsr put money toward a project into which he was already putting such time and effort when no profit would be earned from the video.
@@vickielawson3114 Im pretty sure he is earning profit from the video and he has merch
Storyblocks gives you infinite suply of stock footages, so you pay for a subscribtion, and not per footage
The part asking what is time and where does it come from really made me think. It's a weird feeling to me that things that have happened, we will never experience that exact moment again. Looking back at the past, it doesn't seem so far away yet at the same time it is an infinite amount of distance away.
Shower Thought: Everything we’ve invented is just the discovery of it being possible.
The lifting of the veil.
or, everything we discovered is just us inventing a way to make sense of it
Well invention is being the first to do something, so you are correct
i feel like every single one of these videos could be a college application essay
Placebo is literally same thing as spiritual healing, the power of human mind most of us neglect due to social conditioning

There's a popular quote,

what if the bottom of the ocean has nothing and we hyped it up for no reason,
I don't think anything could survive down there, and like people think, there could be some gigantic creature that's able to survive the water pressure, but if there is one, it'd be long dead by now since there would be no other sea animal that could feed that gigantic thing
@@taekakookie4907 there easily could be like things bigger then the megaladon or eggs the size of one that they feed on like crabs that feed on there off spring as the body for such a big creature that can’t rot in the sun would last most likely long enough for the next one to feed on the next body and so on

Right before "consciousness" appears, there's a "v" where the first "c" from "consciousness" is about to appear, and I can't unsee it.
We all need to 'stop thinking' what we know, 'stay silent' and 'be present' and see the miracles happen.. we should take out atleast 'an hour out of everyday'.
we also dont know how someone could dislike this video
well i know how to dislike your comment
I disliked it because it was mostly uninformed nonsense. And I mean that . I encourage you to learn more about the subjects he mentions because I can personally disprove most of his assertions of what we don’t know and actually say that we do. I mean obviously to me this guy is very stupid in science and that’s subjects . I mean just look through the video yourself he said atoms are indivible . We know there not for genrations now. Even the things that make up an atom have things that make up them and in turn hinge that make up them and maybe so on . This guy is genuinely poppycock

It’s our ability to adapt to any environment that makes us human. Other animals do this, but not nearly as well as us. There’s one thing adapting to live in a hot or cold place, but the fact that we’ve put humans in space for extended missions safely… I’d like to see a chimp do that.
A chimp might be able in the future maybe even using what us humans have done to help them
@@Martin-bt7xn i think what they were saying was the efficiency and the short amount of time it takes for us humans to adapt to certain environments and that this is what makes us human
Do we really know that we have humans in space or did you choose to believe that?
Curiosity is at the heart of learning. From childhood, humans are naturally inclined to ask questions, seek answers, and absorb new information. This desire for knowledge fosters intellectual growth and personal development throughout our lives.
