It's scary to think about shit like that though. Just makes life feel so much more meaningless. Maybe that's why nobody wanted to believe what I was tryna tell them. @@Gameringgod I don't know, man, maybe it's just that even though the content is similar, it's two different things with two different approaches. I find the minimalistic footage, the music, and the narration just super relaxing, and the thoughts, even though some if not most of them I've encountered before, presented in such a minimalistic and maybe even whimsical way, that it produces an atmosphere that was not there for me when VSauce was still active.
Believe me, if VSauce was still around, I would watch both, but for me, personally, this is a good spiritual successor. And it's evolved so much since it started.
Yeah, maybe my comparison is unfounded, but it's just the way I felt after watching the video.

One of the most minor questions of the video but one of the ones I definitely know the answer to
“Did we discover time or invent it”
We discovered time as a concept since time always exists even if it’s not being measured. We invented measurements for time like seconds and days to give it meaning and to make it more convenient to track necessary events.

i think we invented it bc in the video he
mentions our mind and how we can trick it into
really anything so my theory is someone or
maybe even god himself invented it so we can
have some structure and the reasoning to
move forward, so when we are born we are
imbedded to the idea of time but in reality

My mother used to wonder my fascination with colorful arts. It's not until a decade later we learned that I inherited the recessive genes that allow me to see more colors than her or even most people (thanks to my art teacher). And that saying a lot cause my dad sees even fewer colors variation... It turned out my grandfather from my mother had the gene. So, yes.
