I tried last night, and what happened is: -I forgot to sleep before trying to lucid dream, and funny enought that made me feel alot of weird things, but then I gave up because I remembered that I should sleep first -Then I woke up 5am and did the thing, and...it worked? I don't know, because I know I went in a lucid dream, for sure, but then...I don't remember, I think I woke up because I tried to walk and then, when I got to bed I started to have a normal dream, but again idk my memories are kinda blurry... Oh, now that I wrote this comment I kinda remembered what happened, I think i tried to close my eyes to continue thinking of having a lucid dream...lol

Dude I thought I was the only one this happened to. Whenever I figure it out, I try to do something and nothing happens. As if the dream doesn’t recognize my input. And if I try too hard I’ll wake up!

1. Think of one thing that you want to lucid dream 2. Sleep late 3.Set an alarm after 6 hours you normally sleep 4. Lay on a comfortable position 5. Trick your mind into thinking you are asleep How to lucid dream: Close your eyes and focus on one specific thing(like white noise, raindrops, candle scent) don’t let it distract you from your goal though. Focus on “I will lucid dream tonight”

Sleep Paralysis is no joke. Happened to me a few times in my life, and the sense of otherworldly presence was intense. This hag-raven looking creature (I was face down in bed but my brain was telling me that's what she looked like) grabbed me by my ankle and dragged me off my bed. The sensation of bring dragged kept going and going, because of course I wasn't moving, but it felt like I was being pulled. I could feel the sensation of the fabric moving across my skin. Absolutely terrifying hallucination.
@@DinoStudios23 No, not that time. But it's happened twice that I was either meditating or trying to lucid dream and I ended up paralyzed. If you ever end up like that, start by moving your toes and then it will slowly release control.
Dude I never really believed in sleep paralysis until I experienced it for the first time maybe 1-2 years ago. I never felt anything physical, but as you described the brain is just completely convinced something is next to you. In my case I felt something was staring at me with its eyes right in front of my face. I was terrified and refused to open my eyes while my heart was beating like crazy. I had an idea that it looked like a slender tall hairy figure with yellow eyes.
Me in the last video: I have feared of the dark Also me: night light :D My sleep paralysis: sup Me: FUCK OFF my sleep paralysis: ok "proof" Me: oh he/she gone My sleep paralysis: bicth you thought :D Me:bro👄 I just wanna try lucid dream 💧👄💧
I don't think I'm fully lucid, but I've been experimenting with caffeine. I wake up super early after half normal sleep, struggle through the day tired AF, then at end of day, drink strong coffee. I'm so tired, my body goes to sleep and I enter a strange state of consciousness. I really don't know how to describe it; like, I'm aware that I'm in bed sleeping, but at the same time I'm dreaming. It's an interesting experience.
You can do this with nicotine also. Used to have super weird dreams when I was working at sea completely exhausted after weeks of consecutive 16-24hr shifts. Basically would have 1-6 hour naps when able to but would use really strong mouth tobacco like Zyn and dream some wild shit for what felt like days but was really just an hour or two
Thats my goal, but I can’t use any of techniques that involves waking up in the middle of night. I just want to end up in one once in a while by doing reality checks. The worst thing is that I knew I was in a dream plenty of times as a kid, but I just tried waking up and I could even find out I failed later in the dreams I was so talent full that I could get lucid dreams every week but now I can’t get any because my iq drops in the dreams
In a lucid dream state, I heard somebody calling me in the background. When I turned around, there was nobody there, and this managed to wake me from the dream. The best lucid dream I had was when I fell asleep outside sitting in a chair on the balcony with the stars shining brightly during the summertime. In the dream, I was flying around the schoolyard and through a block of flats where I could see people through the windows going about their business. It felt refreshing as I flew around with a light wind on my face; it was the calmest and most relaxing dream I ever had.🕊
That somebody calling you is something you don't want to let into your life. Because what you contact with in the lucid state, you leave the door open and it enters into your waking world. It is hard to get rid of. I got out of lucid dreaming years ago because I had something follow me out. It was not something pleasant.
And what you experienced was not lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is when you can control your dreams and make anything happen or experience things like sexual pleasure and excitement etc. But you said you were flying around d and seeing people through their windows. If you were seeing actual people and not dream people, then you were actually in a state of Astral projection.
If that’s hard, a better technique is waking up at the same time as in this one. 1. Get in bed in the middle of night 2. Once ready, get in bed 3. Cycle thinking about sight, touch and hearing 4. After a fairly large amount of cycles, you want to do the same thing, but with less cycles and more time between switching 5. Go to sleep without any distractions 6. Done One of his vids goes into much more detail, so try to find that video and watch it

Candle scent? Like, a burning candle?? Last time I did that, I had a dream I was looking at a 3 foot tall mini volcano that kept erupting and shooting red hot rocks and lava everywhere. I woke up, head under my blanket and kept hearing the "pop" "pop" noise from my dream and ignored it for a few minutes while I tried to go back to sleep. Eventually, I got frustrated, threw the blanket off a d discovered a fire was crawling up the wall at the foot of my bed. 100% serious. It was scary AF, and while the structure was intact, I lost just about everything I owned in that fire. Even my laptop on the other side of the room. You could see a burn trail where the fire burnt line along the ceiling and directly above my laptop, melting it completely. Don't burn candles when you're sleeping, please. I was super aware and did the lip breathing technique to find I was dreaming. I just tried to remain asleep and nit get to excited by just walking around the house but then I tried to fly and got too excited and woke up. I’m super excited to try again though!
I haven't tried this technique but i had experiencing a dream long time ago I known that it was a dream everything was so real but I can't control anything It's like playing a game(cuz normally my dream is like watching a movie) luckily it wasn't a nightmare.😂
Yessss, another shifter 😁 I was planning on using this video for the exact same thing lol, I do have a little fear of sleep paralysis but I try not to think about it
This happened very recently and it is my first and last lucid dream experience ( so far at least). I woke up at 4:00am went to the toilet. After i had fallen asleep again i had a dream where i was in a classroom with all my friends. One of them had expressed wanting to have a lucid dream before. While we were all vibing together somehow i think to myself " hey, shouldn't i be sleeping right now" suddenly i gain my full senses and i realize i am dreaming. Ever since learning what a lucid dream is i always wanted to experience what it's like to fly. Naturally this is exactly what i did. I started flying through the school hallways with my teacher chasing me ( unfortunately i did not try whishing her out of existence,i was too occupied flying). I escape out of the school but she is still not giving up proceeding to throw a fricking tank at me but to no avail. Of course i had whished to have super strength. With one touch of my finger the tank is launched back at my teacher, this appeared to have stopped her. After all that i decided to test just how fast i could fly. I reached really high speeds and honestly it was amazing. I could fell even the wind that was hitting my face. While flying i remember my friend who also wanted to lucid dream and i get excited at the thought of sharing my experience with him. But then i freeze mid air. I start to feel my sleeping body in my confy bed. Wanting to keep dreaming i fight back waking up but to no success. Sooo that is my first lucid dream experience. Honestly it was incredible. I really want to live through that again. Moral of the story teachers want to take the fun out of everything.
Could you do anything else? Also I’ve heard him say to use a technique where you imagine a door behind you, you turn around and see the door, you think about what you want behind the door, you open the door and go into your ideal place.
This worked the very first night! Wow! I even woke up a few times as usual… yet every time I fell asleep again I had lucid dream after lucid dream! Hasn’t happened to me for years!!! Thanks! Watching it again for hopefully another night of lucid dreams!!!!
I am no sleep expert, but my favorite way to induce a lucid dream is to get into a comfortable position, and clear my mind. Then, I imagine I am standing next to my bed. In my mind, I look around my room. In the closet, out the window…something like that. Then, after I determine my body movements in my mind, I imagine a book, piece of paper, something of the sort with “Lucid Dream” on it, so that I know I am needing to Lucid Dream. Then, I just walk around my house for a couple laps, then step out of my house and imagine I get engulfed in a white void. This is the point the dream becomes a real lucid dream, so I look at the paper in my hand and now I have a blank slate and a Lucid Dream ready to go. So, fun for everyone.
As an experienced lucid dreamer, rubbing your hands together in the dream world makes the dream feel and look more vivid. Do not close your eyes in the dream world, as you'll have a good chance of waking up as a result. Also, once you think you're in the dream world, try to put your finger through your palm and truly believe it'll go through cause it will, and you'll realize you're dreaming for sure; just don't get too excited or your lucid dream state will go bye bye. Repeating the words "I am dreaming" is helpful cause you'll suddenly find yourself in a different environment saying those exact words, and that alone should be enough to make you realize you're dreaming. Some people have visual queues, and some don't. Learning to control your emotions and the vividness of the dream is the hardest part. Just think and truly believe whatever you're thinking, and it'll happen. I also get sleep paralysis too often; the best thing you can do is close your eyes if they're not already and wait it out. You can sort of command your limbs to jolt violently as hard as you can, and it might or might not work; it's a gambling thing. Only do that if you experience sleep paralysis when waking up, not falling asleep.
I saw colors last night, but then I lost the colors. That was the closest I have ever gotten to lucid dreaming. I’m going to try again tonight and hope it works this time.
I tried this technique, and the first time i did it, i had the most vcid dream. I wasn't lucid, but my dream was so clear. I will definitely keep trying this!
Silly list for better dreams: -doesn’t matter when you sleep, mid of night recommended -set alarm ~6 hrs after you fall asleep -when you wake up, it is best to fall asleep asap but you can get water, etc, BUT NO PHONE -when ready, get comfortable, and try not to move, not thinking about your body -close eyes and focus on breathing or something like white noise, this is an anchor. Focus on it, unless you can’t sleep with it -focus on the goal of lucid dreaming, and anchor to keep your mind awake -strange sensations are normal, that include hallucinating, noise, or feeling, and let them come and go -at some point, you will shift to dreaming, do not get too excited -when ready, check if you are in a dream or not. You can do this by closing your lips and trying to breathe through them. If you can, you are dreaming. -stabilize, then have fun! Tips: -learn to fall asleep faster -dream journal and reality check (throughout the day)
@@not_memsYou don't have to decide where you want to be. It's about maintaining a lucid state of mind. Your eyes should be closed unless you can sleep with your eyes open lol.
@@oz0451 it also sometimes leads to lucid nightmares, which.. must I say more? It's not fun at all. Sometimes when I fail to do lucid dreaming, it feels like someone is repeatedly punching my gut and winding me while something happens to me in my lucid nightmares, like a metal piled stabbing through my gut or something like that.
Last night, I had the most bizarre dream. My mom was coloring my hair black. The colors that she used felt like crayons when I touched but looked like NAIL POLISH. I was so confused. The next day, it was my first day of school. I was scared that the teachers would notice my black hair, since my school does not allow dyed or colored hair. In real life, I would never color my hair right before my school started, and no one even noticed anyway, considering that my hair is all ready quite dark. My classroom looked like a literal auditorium. While I was in class, I rethought about how the hair coloring process was so weird, I considered that I could have been dreaming. I touched my hair, and I could still feel the color. That made me think that the hair coloring process really happened, yet I also considered that I was still dreaming. After my class was over, I walked around the room feeling like I was in the real world. Still convinced that I could have been dreaming, I tried to lift up my classmate using the force, but that didn’t work. I looked at my hand, and it looked completely normal, so flashing colors or anything. That fully convinced me that I was not dreaming. When my last class was over, walked through the hallways noticing that the lockers were in the literal BASEMENT. I walked outside waiting to be picked up from school. One of the school staff members said to me, “Thank you,” and I said, “Arigato.” After that, I said to her, “What I just said was so cringe,” and she said, “It’s ok people say it all the time.” In real life, I never say “Arigato” to anyone, and “Thank you” isn’t something people often say to students at the end of the school day, and why would so many people say “Arigato” in the first place? Arigato even means Thank you in Japanese. So technically, I was literally repeating her. After that happenstance, I walked with the rest of my class to get picked up. It was heavily pouring outside, and we were not at the car line, but on the middle of the SIDEWALK. When my parents arrived, I tried to get inside my car, but while I somehow ended up on the roof, my parents started speeding, without meeting me inside the car. Eventually, they stopped and me CRAWL THROUGH THE WINDOW to get to my seat. Would my parents do that in real life? No. They wouldn’t leave the school until I get into the car. After that, I woke up. This was definitely one of the most unique dreams that I’ve had, and it wasn’t even a lucid dream. Short version if you don’t feel like reading the entire thing: My mom was coloring my hair with crayons that looked like nail polish. At school, I thought about how crazy the coloring thing went, and I considered that I was dreaming. I tried to lift someone up with the force, but that didn’t work. I looked at my hand, no flashing color. This convinced me that I was not dreaming.
Kept having extremely vivid nightmares in middle school to the point I felt physical pain sometimes from things that happened to me in the dreams so I learned the reality check method. Now whenever I’m having an extremely vivid dream my subconscious will have a red bouncing ball appear in my dream and that lets me know I’m dreaming and I regain a little consciousness and gain control of the dream. It’s helped significantly
You're probably not going to see this, but I just wanted to thank you for this video, it really helped me and I finally got some answers to questions about my dreams!
"Go right from the waking world to a dream." Me: Sooo, waking world, lucid dream, Shift realities. :) Edit: To all the people saying shifting isn't real, I didn't want your opinion, so take your opinion and go somewhere where people want to hear it. (And to future replies like that, up yours)
Noticed a lot of people saying about a lucid nightmare. If you do Lucid dreaming correctly, you know your in control of it. Nightmares are fun once you realise you have the power and not the nightmare. You can reverse them very easily, this includes any "Paralysis" as it's the same thing. You are dreaming all you have to remember One great tool I use is a loud ticking clock in bedroom. The tic-toc is enough to set a focus on. When your dreaming ask yourself "Wonder what the time is", find the clock. You will not be able to read it's face or digits. You then know your dreaming. This is a great starter method
I've had numerous lucid nightmares, such as when I was plagued by a reoccuring demonic entity for quite some time (in both normal and lucid dreams). It would assume different forms but always had the same eyes. I remember once when I was in the middle of nowhere all by myself, doing something random in some kind of barn, but then I noticed a man with a wicked grin just staring at me through a hole in a piece of wood and I realised it had been watching me the entire time. Sure enough, the eyes told me it was my "friend". I flew away so damn fast in terror. I always ran from it because honestly it was rather unnerving to be stalked across multiple dreams, but one day I had enough and literally embraced it. It suffocated me to the point where I "died" and woke up but it never showed up again afterwards. Dreams are weird.
One time i stuck at lucid nightmare and Big ass bulldozer like machine with sharp 2 meter teeths tried to chew me, And everytime i got inside its mouth i reverse the dream, at that time i set a goal if i do something like 1 cm differently im going to wake up i tried for 20 or 30 times everyting revinding every fucking second that was too exhausting but i wake up at the end
to those like me that are scared of sleeping tonight after hearing stories from others regarding sleep paralysis and hallucinations , just be calm. remember that it is all in your head and none of it is real. keep your eyes shut and slowly breathe in and out. it is not scary once you realize that you are on top because its all in your head. once you overcome your fear of “scary hallucinations”, you’ll be able to lucid dream and do whatever you wanna do 😊❤
I’ve had only like twice and the first time was terrifying it was a big figure shaking my bed and I had to stare at it since I couldn’t move. I had the same thing the next night but I fell asleep towards a wall so I could just try to ignore it.

It’s surreal how insanely detailed everything is while you’re in a lucid dream. I remember being on a city street at night, staring at the rain drops hitting the pavement and pooling under the dim light of a street lamp and could smell the petrichor in the air. It was as real as if I was awake. After you experience it, it’s not difficult to understand why Shakespeare compared the waking world and our lives as being made of such stuff as dreams are made of. Can totally relate this ... but, have you tried setting an alarm just with vibration mode ? no sound, just the vibration, and put it on your bed? (just in case, not near your head) or if you have the luck to own those smart watches or smart bands, put it there. i do it with that and it almost silent and gets me awake in a moment.
Hi! I know this out of topic, but I going to share a dream I had this week. It was a normal dream until I said "This is a dream" ant then I said "no, it's not" so I wouldn't wake up myself. Then my mom came and I said to her "Hey, I am dreaming" mom looked at me with concern. I was about to go and do what I wanted to do, but me my dumb self remembered I had to do a reality check. So I took my hand out and started check how many fingers I had and it looked normal, so I tried to stick my finger through the the palm of my hand and it didn't work. After that the dream continued normaly. The next day when I woke up I asked my mom if I have said that I was dreaming to her, but she said no. Thank you if you read this random person.
This is great, ive used this technique for years as i discovered it waking up in the mornings on my days off, but the later it was in the mornings the less lucid it felt for me usually.
after trying this 10 times last night i did it and what i did in my dream was imagine i’m with my friends in a huge mansion on the beach with everything i wanted in life. It was amazing and definitely worth the time of practicing!
I used to do this as a young kid. All the time. When I realised it I was like 'hol up' and did a little test. I thought about me meeting Mario real hard and closed my eyes. I "woke up" to Mario by my bedside, it was really cool. I wish I could still do it, but alas, I have lost my touch.
Here is a dream I would like to share with you. So, I was on a beach, and I was with my friend, and she said "What are you doing standing there! Come on! We DONT want them to see us!" And then we went into some sort of hatch- 😐 I don't get it either. We sled down, into this room, when some sort of ceremony was happening- I got some moon mark, (turns out there is a war between dark and light, and we are witches.) And we come out at night, and fought the light guards, and we won! But then I woke up before I got to eat the feast!😭
Just a question, if you do end up getting paralysis do you keep your eyes closed or open, probably a dumb question but i just wanna make sure im doing it right
@@mariamkaddoura4141 You can choose whether you keep your eyes closed or open, but for most people its easiest to have them closed because the things you see can be scary at first.
I got sleep paralysis where a character I’m in love with was standing at my curtains violently shaking them. I freaked out and jumped out of bed and speed walked out of the room. I saw my sister in the hallway when I left my room. The next day my sister confirmed that she did see me in the hallway. It was sorta scary but now thinking about it, it’s funny and nothing to worry about.
Best part about Lucid Dreaming is, you can beat the Shit out of your Sleep Paralysis Demon. I actually did it once, and it was like something out of a Marvel Movie.
For me lucid dreaming is kinda scary because when you are lucid dreaming whatever you think about comes to life. And sometimes I think about scary stuff
As someone who used to have nightmares and a overactive imagination I highly recommend comically slapping any scary things in the face and giggling to yourself. Or do anything else silly or slapstick.

Hey I just wanted to thank you. Because of you, I just had my first lucid dream last night. I didn’t really do anything, I just found myself at my kitchen looking for a snack when I realized that everything around me just seemed different. I was super aware and did the lip breathing technique to find I was dreaming. @@adinsleepy i had a sleep paralysis of a sleep paralysis of that I never had one because I never had

I tried it but I didn’t get lucid I just kept imagining and it wouldn’t let me go lucid

Silly list for better dreams:
-doesn’t matter when you sleep, mid of night recommended
-set alarm ~6 hrs after you fall asleep
-when you wake up, it is best to fall asleep asap but you can get water, etc, BUT NO PHONE
-when ready, get comfortable, and try not to move, not thinking about your body
-close eyes and focus on breathing or something like white noise, this is an anchor. Focus on it, unless you can’t sleep with it
-focus on the goal of lucid dreaming, and anchor to keep your mind awake
-strange sensations are normal, that include hallucinating, noise, or feeling, and let them come and go
-at some point, you will shift to dreaming, do not get too excited
-when ready, check if you are in a dream or not. You can do this by closing your lips and trying to breathe through them. If you can, you are dreaming.
-stabilize, then have fun!
Tips:
-learn to fall asleep faster
-dream journal and reality check (throughout the day)

Short version if you don’t feel like reading the entire thing:
My mom was coloring my hair with crayons that looked like nail polish. At school, I thought about how crazy the coloring thing went, and I considered that I was dreaming. I tried to lift someone up with the force, but that didn’t work. I looked at my hand, no flashing color. This convinced me that I was not dreaming.

Noticed a lot of people saying about a lucid nightmare. If you do Lucid dreaming correctly, you know your in control of it. Nightmares are fun once you realise you have the power and not the nightmare. You can reverse them very easily, this includes any "Paralysis" as it's the same thing.
You are dreaming all you have to remember
One great tool I use is a loud ticking clock in bedroom.
Dreams are weird.

to those like me that are scared of sleeping tonight after hearing stories from others regarding sleep paralysis and hallucinations , just be calm. remember that it is all in your head and none of it is real. keep your eyes shut and slowly breathe in and out. it is not scary once you realize that you are on top because its all in your head. once you overcome your fear of “scary hallucinations”, you’ll be able to lucid dream and do whatever you wanna do 😊❤

Perception is so limiting and fallible; we know so little.

Best part about Lucid Dreaming is, you can beat the Shit out of your Sleep Paralysis Demon. I actually did it once, and it was like something out of a Marvel Movie.
I had a lucid dream and I was happy, I tried to fly but failed miserably, I was sad in my dream I couldn't fly

For me lucid dreaming is kinda scary because when you are lucid dreaming whatever you think about comes to life. And sometimes I think about scary stuff
To be fair, you can simply think you have a super power and smash the monster away

As someone who used to have nightmares and a overactive imagination I highly recommend comically slapping any scary things in the face and giggling to yourself. Or do anything else silly or slapstick.
