Man, this was bad-ass. Robbin, Juan and Bobby were totally in the pocket. Robbin and Warren in perfect sync on the dual lead. Stephen's voice was still young and tight sounding.... and not totally blown out. I was 18 in 1983 and still spending my summers out on the beaches of So Cal.

@The Poison Well they were still classified as "Glam Metal" for the most part. Wether or not it's truely correct is different if you were to ask the band or anyone else.

Literally wore the 45 out on the turntable listening and burned the picture tube out on the TV watching the video. You know, back when MTV actually stood for music television because they played actual music videos.

I personally think Ratt is so much superior to Crue, yet Crue got bigger. Ratt was plagued by so much inner turmoil early on, and they were woefully mismanaged at times. They certainly did not live up to their long term potential.

Saw a small town cover band do this one with a drop dead gorgeous blonde singing lead. She'd do this cool twirl on the refrain. It was awesome. The crowd really loved it.

... I saw this on TV but it had to be early '84 - they weren't playing Round & Round yet in '83 - @ least they didn't when I saw them that year @ Perkin's Palace opening up for W.A.S.P. & Armored Saint. Sounds like they put some chorus or "Dimension D" on Stephen's vocals - same thing the soundboard guys did w/ Ozzy throughout the '80s...

I love the old footage. I used to go see Robbin and his high school band Phenomenon every chance I got in 1978 and 1979. Stephen and Warren were in Mickey Rat. I might have seen them once. Jake E. Lee's band Teaser was often on the same bill playing teen clubs! San Diego ROCKS!!!!

0:33 look at Robbin Crosby hitting those G chords and letting them ring and ring..he was really an awesome guitarist and had so much potential..not that hitting a G chord is hard ..no not at all but it's the way he did it and wrote some really cool shit..I wish Crosby would have got some help because he left this place way time soon and had so much potential...Heroin is definitely one of the tools that the devil uses...
R.I.P Robbin Crosby..we love you bro
