This is the concert where motley got pissed at their manager Doc cause he lied to them telling them they couldn’t use pyrotechnics when Bon Jovi, who headlined, opened with firework blasts. Tommy went backstage, shoved Doc to the ground, and Nikki fired him right then and there. Fun fact🤘🏻🤘🏻

Me and my friends hanging out at the Party Barn, radio playing all afternoon in to the late hours of the night. Friends and Gals coming and going all night. The local rock station broadcast the event. I remember at the end of the night for one of the encore jams with members from all of the bands that played that day, when they covered Jailhouse Rock. Vince was doing that out of tune yelp at the end of the song. You know that end of song vocal acrobatics they used to "try" to do back then. Well Ole Vinnie sounded like a wounded duck. In the middle of his quacking, someone yelled out: "What the hell is that? That sound can not be coming from a human!". Great Memories. Indeed!

It may sound strange but everytime I attend a concert (Maiden, Priest, Saxon whatever) I am glad to be there and enjoy the concert, because it can be the last time we have the opportunity. It is not only about our heroes can die next day, but we can disappear too. Simply don't care about vocals I enjoy their presence and that special moment of being the fly on the wall.
