Currently Snipes is 61 or 62 years old today and at the time of this movie's release he was about 52 or 53 years old. The guy has a virtual laundry list of Martial Arts skills under his belt. 5th degree black belt in Shotokan, a 2nd degree belt in Hapkido, and add Capoeira, Kung Fu, Kick Boxing and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu to the list.
Stallone wanted him in the earlier ones too I believe. But that's when Wesley was still in trouble for the tax stuff and he also couldn't leave the country while they was shooting.
That's like watching a Mission Impossible movie without realizing he's in his late 50s then 60s now, and does those stunts, in the shape he is in. IT IS POSSIBLE, just not easy or likely lol. Hey, I just lost over 110lbs from 38-40, and turned 40 weighing less than I did at 20, so with work it's ALL possible. Age is no excuse.
I think the issue with Stallone in the other ones was his facial hair. Each movie he shaved a bit more and now he has a clean face which most recognize him more. 12:58 Terry Crews was filming Brooklyn Nine Nine while they filmed this movie so he was only available for a short period. It would’ve been funny for Stallone to tell Banderas character that he could’ve gotten the tattoo for free if he would’ve asked them about it.
Also a lesser fun fact: Jason Statham almost got killed during filming the action scene on the flatbed truck. They tried to get Kurt Russell and Clint Eastwood, but neither one was interested. As for a cameo I would choose for an Expendables movie, I'd go with Bruce Campbell.
I'd say eligible candidates to include in future Expendables and/or Expenda-belles movies would be: 5 men - Jackie Chan, Mr. T, Carl Weathers, Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura 5 women - Sigorney Weaver, Linda Hamilton, Michelle Yeoh, Charlize Theron, Cynthia Rothrock
@gregoryjenkins8645 I think on my initial list of 5, I'd swap out charlize theron for brigette nielson, as maybe it makes sense to have an 80s list and a 90s list. Red Sonya can go on the 80s and the likes of: C.Theron, J.Gardner, J.Alba, S.M.Gellar, etc can be amongst the 90s candidates. Would be a fun wink to bring if the female costars from Robocop & Commando came in for cameos. Speaking of Robocop, peter weller could be in an upcoming expendables also... he's got classic oneliners he could use... _"dead or alive, you're coming with me."_ *_"I'd buy that for a dollar."_*
I'd love to see Jackie Chan and Donnie Yuen in the mix. I doubt it would happen though. The 4th is getting terrible reviews, unfortunately, so we may not see a 5th one. Always fun watching your reactions.
That's ONLY from critics on RT. There hasn't even been audience scores yet. You can't go by RT for critical reviews from professional critics for this franchise, because historically, they hate them. The only one they gave a _barely_ fresh rating to was E2 at 67%. The others were: E1 - 41% and E3 31%. E4 doesn't even have that many reviews yet from them either, with only 77 reviews.
Kurt Russell Jackie Chan Danny Trejo Samuel L Jackson Uma Thurman Sigourney Weaver Linda Hamilton Steven Seagal Carl Weathers Mr. T Richard Dean Anderson There's so many...
Honestly if they upped the opposition and brought back other action movie VILLAINS it would be badass i think, for example, Charles Dance (Last Action Hero/Game of Thrones) as a good sub villain and terrorist. Mel was pretty savage though👍
If you like Statham.. Antonio Banderas was really channeling his Desperado/Assassins. Highly recommend adding them to the list. And I felt like Kelsey Grammer was channeling his Down Periscope. Hilarious movie, btw. Yup.. Willis wanted a million dollars a day. Stallone balked and got Ford instead. I am guessing sadly Willis knew about his aphasia diagnosis at this point and was trying to bank some cash quick. Glad to see Stallone and Bruce did reconcile the last few years.

It's Randy Couture. Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight UFC Champion. The bald guy.
They tried to get Kurt Russell and Clint Eastwood, but neither one was interested. As for a cameo I would choose for an Expendables movie, I'd go with Bruce Campbell.
"Can we cork him?" 😂😂😂
I'd say eligible candidates to include in future Expendables and/or Expenda-belles movies would be:
5 men - Jackie Chan, Mr. T, Carl Weathers, Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura
5 women - Sigorney Weaver, Linda Hamilton, Michelle Yeoh, Charlize Theron, Cynthia Rothrock
In addition, Jennifer “Alias” Garner.
_"dead or alive, you're coming with me."_
*_"I'd buy that for a dollar."_*
17:00 Or it's just a "Kelsey Grammar in real life" joke.
I'd love to see Jackie Chan and Donnie Yuen in the mix. I doubt it would happen though. The 4th is getting terrible reviews, unfortunately, so we may not see a 5th one. Always fun watching your reactions.
Jackie chan openly supports genocide, so I really don't need to see him in anything else ever.
Nooooooooo… I was hoping it wasn’t getting terrible reviews
@@So_Sag It's actually impossible to find a positive review for it. Too bad.
@@orlandoruizjr3834yikes... that's not good. Didn't expect the best but I was hoping so going to check it out Sunday afternoon after work.
This was just after Wesley got out of jail and gave him a fresh start.
I would add Kurt Russell, the Rock, Vin Diesel, Tom Cruise, and Jackie Chan
Clint Eastwood
The one you keep saying you don’t recognize is Randy Couture former UFC light heavyweight champion.
I AM SO HAPPY!!
the other bald guy is randy couture he fought in the UFC and is a hall of famer. had some great fights.
Just in case some of you don't know, Bluey is AWESOME !!!
the young Hispanic guy is Victor ortiz, he is a ex world champion pro boxer

Kurt Russell
Jackie Chan

Samuel L Jackson
Uma Thurman
Sigourney Weaver
Linda Hamilton
Steven Seagal
Carl Weathers
Mr. T
Richard Dean Anderson
There's so many...
Honestly if they upped the opposition and brought back other action movie VILLAINS it would be badass i think, for example, Charles Dance (Last Action Hero/Game of Thrones) as a good sub villain and terrorist. Mel was pretty savage though👍
Vin diesel was never seen at their level when it comes to action. He is more sci-fi than action.
If you like Statham.. Check out Crank and Crank 2... the Melissa McCarthy film Spy.. and even though it's a smaller to role the British film "Mean Machine" (a British remake of "The Longest Yard" with soccer. People really blast the PG13 rating of this one.. but to me really didn't hurt my experience in theaters and I still enjoyed at the time what I thought was "one last ride".. can't wait till Sunday afternoon to see "Expend4bles".. looking forward to it.
Id love to see guys watch the Blade Trilogy. The first 2 are amazing and top tier Snipes. He will be the only Blade and not whatever Marvel gives us in a PG-13 movie. Blade shkuld be Rated R
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ANTONIO BANDEROS❤❤❤❤
Besides Escape Plan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have separately starred in The Last Stand, Bullet to the Head, Sabotage, Killing Guenther, Tulsa King and FUBAR
Older:
Keanu
Denzel
Carl Weathers
Neeson

Nicholas Cage!
Sigourney Weaver
Linda Hamilton
Brosnan
G Butler
Costner
There's loads, too many to list.
But happy Uwais is in the new film!!
Mel gibson really made this movie for me. I wish it was a tsd better for him but for what it was he was great.
The bald guy is former UFC champ Randy Couture
The new guy Mars is Victor Ortiz former WBC welterweight champion of the world
"Where's Vin Diesel?"
INDEED, where IS Vin Diesel?
I expected him to be in one of these movies before Mel Gibson lol.
I just figured out Antonio's Character's talent that will be used in the 4th Movie....it will be interrogation....well Comedic Interrogation where they beat up and do whatever to a captured bad person and then Barney goes well you leave me with no choice but to do the most horrific unthinkable thing i can do to a person (captured person) really whatever it is i can take it!....then cuts to black screen then cut's back and we see Antonio sit down in the chair across and just starts talking and talking and talking and then cut's to outside building shot and hear Scream after Scream 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Antonio Banderas was really channeling his Desperado/Assassins. Highly recommend adding them to the list.
And I felt like Kelsey Grammer was channeling his Down Periscope. Hilarious movie, btw.
I haven't watched this one in a while. I like this one better than 2, but 1 is still the best. The CGI threw me off.
A Jeff Speakman cameo would make me squeal like a little girl. Lol
Assmanistan is the neighbor of Titmanistan...duh
The bald guy is Randy Couture he's a former MMA fighter
What?! Mrs Movies hasn't seen Blade? Please sort this Mr Movies! Great reaction guys 👍
Y’all should check out the two Red movies. Chock full of stars.
You need to watch "Blind Fury"
Bruce Willis asked for a raise for 3, so they cut him out.
Expendables 4 just came out
I believe there was a pay issue with Bruce Willis and that's why he wasn't in this movie but they are still friends
Yup.. Willis wanted a million dollars a day. Stallone balked and got Ford instead. I am guessing sadly Willis knew about his aphasia diagnosis at this point and was trying to bank some cash quick. Glad to see Stallone and Bruce did reconcile the last few years.
1939 Good Bye Mr Chips twice remade in to film and a tv series the original that introduced Greer Garson must have invoked such emotion in 1939 and the following years that many hoped to recapture some of it. Search what Queen Betty The Second said about what another film Greer Garson starred in did for the UK in WW2, please.
PS Thornloe Cheese makes a garlic cheddar cheese that will be in my freezer for the rest of my you know :)
Jason Statham almost died during the dock scenes being shot. Truck he was driving lost brakes and he hit 2 cameramen before driving into the sea if memory serves me correct.
theyre a expendables 4 trailer
The bald guy is Randy couture former ufc champion and ex military
