    Switch/socket drops in 20mm round PVC conduit (preferably light gauge for price and additional space inside), with female adaptor into box. Clip conduit with Thorsman 20mm round clips or all round band. Easy to wire and easy to rewire when kitchen fitter drills through cables. You'll struggle to find any domestic installation (last 20 years) in NI that doesn't use this method. Prior to that it was oval conduit for many decades, but we progressed.

    Another great weekly video Nick! I understand about starting a bit of a project when not at work, I’m like that myself, get bored with it shortly after and do something else before realising that 5 jobs need finishing!
    Thanks for sharing your MRI results, I have suffered extreme back pain for around 10 years now at 44 years of age but don’t want to visit the GP or hospital. I feel as though I might be wasting their time!
    Thanks for the videos though, you’re doing a great job! Keep up the great work guys!!👍👍👍

    Get an inversion table, or gravity boots if you’ve got the strength to get your feet up to your hands. First time I used gravity boots my back popped in about 3 places, felt amazing. My discs herniation has also reduced in size since using them.

    The fact that you have a three face supply should be on their records, surely ? The guy that changed my domestic meter was stacking shelves in a supermarket not many weeks before.. for sure he was not an electrician by his own admission, he even fitted the isolator the wrong way up !! it was labelled also .

    EDF we’re adamant that they needed to change our meter to 3Ph at work. Told the chap on the phone several times that it’s a commercial three phase meter. They sent a chap who has the ticket to do it, but isn’t allowed to by company policy. He said he’d been sent back 3 times to one location to fit a smart meter but it was 3 phase so isn’t allowed to…

    • @mfx1
      @mfx1 Год назад +1

      The UK's primary standards are held at NPL and some of those refer back to other primary standards held elsewhere in the world so everything should be traceable back to a primary standard. Smaller companies will have their gear calibrated by a larger test house who will have their gear calibrated by NPL.
