  • Hey guys, in this video we put another very popular wheel and tire cleaner; P&S Brake Buster, up against our previous winner; Meguiar's Non-Acid Wheel & Tire Cleaner. Remember, these comparisons are geared to your average consumer, meaning we test the product and the equipment (in this case the sprayers) that come straight from the manufacturer, with out any additional equipment.
After this video was filmed, I found some cheaper options for Brake Buster, as well as a 32oz option. If you did not catch the note in the video itself, just scroll down, and I have provided links to everything.

I love the editing and format of seeing both tires next to one another.
Really quality channel and it's a shame you don't have more subs!
Edit: Also damn son! I know you're doing a test and showing what each is capable of and what it takes to clean the tire, but I would have given up and reached for the mineral spirits after a round or two. Haha
Kudos to you for sticking to it.

hi, thanks for the test, I'm 2 years late but it doesn't matter :-)
little advice to clean dirty tires, you will have to use hot water, because the power of heat (exothermy) is an incredibly effective power of dissolving grease and oil, so fill a hot bucket to the maximum of the temperature supported by your high pressure cleaner (generally 60 degrees celsius) which is already very good, then you must quickly use a blower, because the product MUST be in contact with the tire and not diluted, so if the tire is wet, and what's more the water is cold, you're gone for 6 times the game :-)
once past the blower, sprayed with a detailer sprayer (forgotten the brand sprayer), leave to act for 2 minutes (not in the sun).
then use a rigid tire brush, I insist the brush must be rigid, it will penetrate the product and deeply remove the dirt, rinsed again with hot water
step 2 the same thing but: BLOWER, spray, 2 minutes, brush (I like the rigid rounded tire brush, it's the best for me)
rinse, I think after 2 times it will be magnificent
for those who have the means: the ideal is the real hot water cleaner at 150 degrees (celsius), man you cry the result is already impeccable only with hot water.
    Greeting

Did you dilute any of them for this test? Or full strength.
I watched both of your tire product battles. Also noticed comments of people saying about your complaints of using factory bottles.
In the future you should state the purpose of using factory bottles even if there is gallon options. The fact that not all customers will purchase the gallon option... the smaller hand bottles by any company does indeed turn factors into play. I agree with your approach 100% but you must state the reasons you are using manufactured bottles even if you also have the gallon option. You are reviewing and testing products from the manufacturers not 3rd party items to advance the product itself.
    Great job!

did you count the number of sprays you applied to each tire? seems like a lot of spraying from a trigger sprayer. would a pump (pressurized) sprayer be better in a situation like this? how long did each spray dwell, or did I miss that?

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  Год назад

Each sprayer is different so it’s takes a different amount of sprays per bottle. This comp includes the factory spray bottles but no I didn’t count each spray, and yes a pump sprayer would be faster, but high alkaline chemicals like these tend to eat pump sprayers alive, no it’s not worth using them in the long run. But again, this comp was about the chemicals including their factory bottles. Dwell time was about 30-40 seconds between the time it takes to spray the chemicals and the scrub.
