    I was using Adams for clients but then stopped and switched back to Megs W&T cleaner in their bottle, Adams sprayers always have issues and I actually agree with 32oz bottles too, I've had so many trucks more than cars; they seem to work great as products but I keep some Adams products for my cars I detail at home generally. I'm a weekend warrior so I'm not fulltime though; Meguiars has been my go to since I first started detailing tbh, very affordable next to P&S as well.

    I don’t know why everyone spays them down rims and tires with water first I always spray extreme armor all while the tires are cool not in the sun and it foams up on the tire holding on to the tire but at the same time you can see all the dirt sliding down I feel like if you rinse the tire first no matter what tire cleaner you have won’t work as good or your just working harder

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  3 года назад

      I guess that’s the way I’ve always done it for the most part. I try and get some of the loose junk off the wheel and tire first before I start cleaning. This video was a little different because of making the video. Usually I spray down all the wheels and tires first, then start at the beginning and clean them. That way most of the water has dropped or dried off the wheel and tire before I start cleaning them. But I get different foaming results almost every time based on the kind of tire and the degree of dirtiness of the tire. However I’ve never seen a noticeable difference in cleaning ability from spraying down the tire first to not, I’ve done it both ways.

      Do you apply soap to your body while dry???
      No! You wet your body first right? Well same concept with tires and wheels! Spraying them with water 💦 serves two purposes.. 1. It acts a lubricant to make cleaning much easier and efficient. And 2. In most cases it helps cool down the tires and wheels!!! So thats why its important to hose down wheels and tires prior to cleaning them!

    Adams is on narrow spray and Megs is on fan, Isn’t it common knowledge that most spray tips fail?

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  2 года назад

      Yes, the fan setting on the Adam’s no longer functioned. As far as common knowledge, sure everything goes bad eventually, but I think that’s a pretty broad statement. I find that most factory provided spray beads are junk and are only meant to last the duration of what’s in the bottle and not much longer. In this case, the Adam’s spray head didn’t last more than a few months. My Megs still works fine.

      Both these cleaners are non-acidic so they should not damage the tires at all. I’d say as long as you rinse thoroughly you shouldn’t have a problem. • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  3 года назад +1

      Both products are pretty safe, neither are acid based, so they should be. But if I were you I would try and see if the after market rims are clear coated or not. If not then maybe an even gentler cleaner like dawn dish soap might be called for. If the rims are bare paint or bare aluminum you definitely don’t want to risk t harsh a cleaner. I made that mistake a long time ago and ruined my aluminum rims.
