I have heard for years Adams makes a great wheel cleaner. The foaming was awesome and this product reminds me of Meguiars non acid wheel cleaner. Perhaps a showdown is coming? The foamer you used looks amazing too. Thank you for the great video.

Literally best stuff, I love it on my wheels and even in the wheel well fenders, they clean really well. I usually wash the whole thing every week which is about 20 minutes of cleaning but honestly worth it

Mn, absolutely for an all in one its great!! Yes sure you could deep clean using separate products but I feel these all in one cleaners are designed to maintain and keep wheels and tires clean. Shoot if you washing once a week or 2 weeks. You won't need super strong cleaners ya know??

For wheels like that, on a good foamer it works great even at 8:1. A bit of running foam is actually preferable as the foam carries dirt away.
Oh I imagine so! Very versatile in form of dilution 👍👍 just tried out the NanoSkin non acid wheel an tire. Loved it! For 19 a gallon it's a winner. Video will be out this weekend

Everything you touched on about how the Adam's performed supercedes the P&S brake buster that i use now. Love how the Adam's clings and stays foamy thru out the wash. Can't go wrong with one of those foamers worth the expense for sure!

Right on, I have been using Adams wheel & tire and I like it. I have only used it straight and in an IK former at 7:1. recently, i got a gallon of brake buster for like $13. Although the P&S product looks like adam's, it doesn't work as well. Very nice video!

I do not hear much on it but Nanoskin Non-Acid Wheel and Tire Cleaner is my benchmark for a tire and wheel cleaner. The only cleaner that could match it was Adam's Wheel and Tire Cleaner, and I have tried several to include Brakebuster, 303's new Tire and Wheel Cleaner, and Gyeon's Tire Wheel Cleaner to name a few. The only gripe for me that would be against Adam's is Nanoskin's Non-Acid Wheel and Tire Cleaner is cheaper per gallon....however at full strength the Nanoskin has a very chemical smell. The Adam's does not have that chemical smell at all, as you mentioned. Great vid and looking forward to more! Oh and top with Wowo's Tyre Restore....BOOM! Beautiful tires!

Yes it is a great product I have tried it. I use break buster 10 to 1 in my foamer and it works great on my wheels but my wheels never are maintained On a customer car your right you might have to step it up. Cheers👍🏻🇨🇦

I have been using this product from Adam’s for over 1 year now and it is the best all in one wheel and tire cleaner and there is no other product that removes the browning from your tires as this product. I personally just spray it on with my Kwazar trigger sprayer but I will have to try to foam it now as it gives you more time to work without it drying up.

If you like this stuff, you need to try Meguiar's D143 non acid wheel and tire cleaner. The gallon is cheaper and it dilutes further. I use both, I dilute the adams 1:1 and the meguiars 3:1 and they both do a great job. The d143 foams good too if you're into that sorta stuff, I just use it in a regular spray bottle tho.
It was between this and the Megs. Lol haha I'll definitely try the Megs out though soon as I run through this gallon of Adam's. All for trying new stuff. 👍👍 appreciate you watching!

Jay, BB is a great product for sure! I went through 3 gallons before I switched to try this. I'm currently almost out of this... ( haven't been detailing much ) and have some others to move on to try. This Adam's just has a bit more cutting power than BB👍. appreciate you tuning in and watching!🤝
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I am on My second gallon of bb. Amazon dropped off some Adam's wheel and tire cleaner this morning. I tried it after work. Very good performance I tried it out on My Mom's Subaru which has not been washed in three weeks or so. Scrubbed and rinsed the sidewalls twice...used a woolie and a few brushes. The wheels look mint! I ordered a foamer to hopefully preserve the gallon!

I have used it IMO it’s about the same as p and s brake buster . Both great products. But recently found myself going to the Meguires wheel brighter acid base .. no scrubbing power washer does all the work
Drd!!! Man, I have used 3 gallons of brake buster and previously on this same car and this Adam's definitely has more cutting power than BB. Not saying BB is bad though.. Expensive but still very good tire cleaner and rim cleaner. Obviously not as effective as an acid based wheel cleaner but still holds it own. Good video.

Wow! This is the kind of cleaner I need. The only thing that comes close to that quick of browning that I’ve found is Spray Nine full strength but this is a much better value as it’s dillutable

It reaches a extremely huge audience with all of its uses. Especially with Covid-19. Just sayin! They’re a huge Canadian company. I use it on fabrics and carpets but you have to neutralize it to bring the PH back down. It works soooo well on stains & carpets!

Between these two products which one would you highly recommend for DIY Car detailing fanatics then? I bought the Wowo's product and I really liked it! Any difference between them? Should I purchase Adam's as another option to add to my arsenal? Thanks!
Ray, I like this Adam's better than Wowo's clean wheels. The Wowo's has a bit of a harsh scent.. burns the nostrils a tad. And lacks cutting power. This Adam's hands down wins.. plus it cleans tires as well. Appreciate you watching!!
Nice review. You mentioned the smell, being that it is not a iron solvent type of cleaner it shouldn’t have that rotten egg smell that is annoying. One thing that this doesn’t have is rust inhibitors like P&S Brake Buster. (If it does it wasn’t mentioned). I would be curious to see a side by side comparison of the two, of course using the same dilution ration and former.

Thank you sir!! Yes, no iron remover in it but still, there are cleaners that smell a little harsh and I picked up no real smell at all. Which is nice when working with it👍👍 if I had more BB I'd do a battle!😂 they are both good, but didn't notice a vast improvement with the rust inhibitors in BB.. if you dilute at all they are not effective.. imo
trust inhibitors is just another marketing scheme that all y'all fall into. it's like God, how will you prove they are in there or not and how effective they really are. I call total BS on P&S 🤣
You know. This goes for a lot of products... I always think, how would we know an interior detailer had UV protection??? I'm sure we can say this about Lots of products 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@PapaSmurf918Detail exactly. They(these companies) can say what ever they want based on zero to no evidence and it's on the consumer to do their research. Most of these car products are coin tosses and all have their honey moon until you realize the truth.
I've used just about all these types of products and Adam's is the best strongest one. It cost more though... if you have an extra foam cannon use it instead of the pumps... I feel I use a lot less product.. picked up the idea from OG

Most of the time, I use Super Clean, diluted, unless I'm doing a DEEP cleaning. Super Clean is about $21.00 for 2.5 gallons @ my local Walmart. If I'm deep cleaning tires and wheels, I use an acid decon. 1st, then a dedicated wheel cleaner. I use Super Clean on the tires, diluted 1:4, until the browning is gone. Then I use mineral spirits, and finish with a IPA.
I too used to use superclean.. aerosol spray on tires.. and to do have meg's wheel brightner for stubborn caked on wheels. But, it's just much easier to have 1 product.. that does it all👍👍 mineral spirits ftw for tires. Works very well! Thanks for watching!

William, Adam's shampoo is definitely a great shampoo.. no doubt. Yeah I went through 3 gallons of it hsha. This Adam's wheel and tire has more cutting power and foam dewll is much better.. still love BB... it's a great product, but lacks in cleaning power on harsh wheels

Thanks Larry! Umm no I don't clean it out after each use. I do however release the pressure so it's not constantly under pressure. I think Adam's has a bit more cutting power than BB.. Bb was still a good product though. Appreciate you watching man!

This might be a stupid question but I also got the same gallon and I just bought a few spray bottles do I put half water and half of the product or will it not work and only fill the bottle with the product
No such thing as a stupid question my friend!!! So, if you did half water and half cleaner that will put you at a 1:1 dilution ratio. It will work yes.. in this video I'm using a 3:1 ratio which is even less product and was still very effective 👍 you can dilute to your needs! If a wheel is not very dirty then you are wasting product by using full strength if that makes sense. Knock it down to fit your cleaning power needs🤙🤝

Thanks man! Appreciate you taking the time to watch! If used straight yes it will knock down some protections out there. Diluted it won't be AS strong but will still degrade a wax or sealant.. if wheels are ceramic Coated they will withstand it👍👍 Look into a spray and rinse form of protection such as Gyeon wet coat, 303 touchless sealant, Mckees hydro blue. These are spray and rinse and make it VERY easy to protect wheels and inner barrels 👍👍 that's what I use every wheel I clean🤙

So you used a wheel brush. Is that safe for ceramic coated wheeles? Whats best for a Alloy Wheels??
Yes I used a wheel brush. The brush itself is absolutely safe for coated wheels. However if your wheels are coated. All you'll need is whatever soap your using to wash the car. A regular PH neutral soap will work just fine. Or if you do wanna use a cleaner something very mild. But, since this video my wheels are coated and all I use is a few towels and a rinseless wash solution ( in those case Hydra from PhoenixEOD) to clean them 👍👍👍

I don't see any issue with using this in a cannon. 👍 I'd keep a foam canning designated for wheel cleaners rhough IF possible. Or thoroughly clean after using it before using soap onto paint 👍👍

According to Adam's they said you don't need to dilute lol. But I do it. I feel if a wheel can get clean at a 3:1 ratio why waste product? I've noticed that foam stays great even when diluting.. if you use it straight it's thicker so sometimes you just need to adjust tips inside foamer to meet you foam needs👍

In nit sure about the BEST place as they all change.. but, Autogeek, the rag company, or car supplies warehouse arw a few places👍 as well as Adam's itself. Sometimes they have big sales.

Hey buddy! My friend has powder coated wheels on his Ford truck, and the guy that powder coated them said no harsh chemicals on them. We are trying to find a cleaner that would do a good job. Would you recommend this detergent? Think its safe? Right now I use Super Clean on stock wheels from manufacturer, but the powder coat guy said "nope don't use that on my powder coated wheels". So I've been looking. Great video!
Kim, so this Adam's wheel and tire should be just fine on the powder coated wheels.. it's non acid based. The superclean is alkaline based and will leave them chalky that's why he said not to use it on them. I would try this Adam's at 3:1 and go from there 👍👍 thanks for tuning in!✊🤝

I can attest that super clean adds some white to my powder coated wheels. Ill stick with brakebuster, auto fanatic wheel and tire or this

I have stubborn break dust on my wheels. Tried different cleaners and it's still there. Do you think that this stuff would work?
Stubborn brake dust can be a pain in the butt. Sometimes it's just to far gone and etched to bring it back. However look into Meguiar's wheel brightner. It's an acid based wheel cleaner that works great for tuff brake dust. Just don't use on bare metal or anodized aluminum 👍 this Adam's is great but it's non acidic so it's safe but sometimes just isn't enough for the baked on stuff

@@pkk6428 no problem man. Ahhh chrome.. I'm not sure acid would be safe on chrome.. if there not bad try the Adam's wheel cleaner and if that doesn't work maybe a chrome polish could get it off. Never dull is a good one for chrome
would this product work on a car with carbon ceramic brakes and wheels that have been ceramic coated?
It's a non acid wheel cleaner... and not an iron remover so I don't see it being a problem! Yes it will work on ceramic coated wheels. I'd dilute it 5:1 if there coated.. much easier to clean 👍👍

Seems like it clings way longer than brake buster and obviously cleans wheels and tires better.
It's definitely in my opinion nests BB in every category.. only thing it doesn't have is the anti corrosive rust inhibitors... which isn't a male or break for me. Lil more expensive to. But I like it better than BB👍👍. Appreciate you taking the time to watch!

I grabbed a bottle the day it launched, and ordered a gallon of BB, to compare both. Needless to say, Adam’s kills BB. Even diluted 4:1-6:1 in a foamer it still is amazing.
Also, I should add. All the BB fanboys were so heated when Adam’s released this before even getting it to try for themselves. If only they would of ordered a bottle.. 😂
Hayden, agree completely man. Much more cutting power and foam sticks around longer. Not bashing BB, I used 3 gallons before switching but I will say I enjoy the Adam's better. It is whT it is!

It is a little more expensive but not much. It's a fantastic product for sure! For the weekend warrior enthusiast it will last a long time especially if you dilute👍

@@josea7422 I was using P&S Brake Buster before.. it's good but lacks cleaning power imo.. this Adam's even diluted 1:1 had fantastic cleaning power.

Also like the fact that you can use it on any wheel. Adam's you can't on polished .

@@josea7422 haha Don't get me wrong I love brake buster but find it struggles a little on semi dirty wheels.. I went through 3 gallons of it though.. it works. Megs wheel Brightner for some nasty ones lol. But, all in all the Adam's has more bite and foam seems to dwell longer than BB. 👍

@@PapaSmurf918Detail true trust me , I've spent lots of money on adams products and I mean lots of money. Some of thier stuff is legit. Some a waste of money. Thier foam cannons for one . Found the exact brand they use for 18$ on ebay lol. I like thier soaps thou. I just started using suds labs brand that's sold at Wal-Mart with great results big bottle a little bit goes a long way the tire and wheel cleaner .
