Used brake buster for 2 years and maniac for a month or so, here’s my thoughts on them both. As far as cleaning the wheel, brake buster cleans the wheel great at 5:1 even 10:1, but to get it to clean tires well you need to use it straight, or do what I did which is spray the tire with undressed and foam brake buster over the undressed. Maniac at 7:1 cleans the wheel even better than brake buster at 5:1 and still cleans the tire as well as the undressed/brake buster combo. It’s a lot easier and faster to just have one product that smells good
I use to love break buster, and till I saw you used the maniac b4 I switched to maniac wheel cleaner, boom I'll never by break buster again I even tried it 1-12 spray in on and watch it turns brown sorry break buster.....( FATALITY ) MANIAC WINS great video Eddie you did it again as always 💙
Appreciate you watching , an I said it brake bust is more accessible but when they start adding more distributors it should balance out- now we gotta see what’s good with Adam’s and wise guys

I like this video and you job. I’m italian 🇮🇹 and i got the maniac, is really power full, but in doesn’t smell good at all. It is like suprermafrasol. Maybe the US version is Made a bit different from the italian version.
@@Ecdetails yes, the maniac. It smalls like a chemical, not to harsh but not a banana sent in any ways. Here in Italy we can find easily in some fisical shops and i got it from bep’s. I’m so curious to know if there is a difference between the italian and the us version. (Sorry for my english)
There should be a breakdown of wheel tire cleaners into categories, as they are not all created equal and people need to better understand: Neglected Wheels - Adams Wheel and Tire, Maniac, and many others Maintenance Wash with Rust Inhibitors - P&S BB Similar to different tools for different purposes, chemicals is the same thing. I like to cheat and boot some products with APC or Iron remover. I am like a chef in the kitchen adding spice sometimes for no reason.
I agree with ya but maniac can be used a maintenance wash 1:10 - but doesn’t have those rust inhibitors with that we’ll need Hyde’s to get the rust part. With that I agree with ya , I generally see a the same customer once or twice a year, and there wheels are always hashed. Haha that part about being a chef 👨🍳 👀 cook it up baby

I think brake buster changed from what it used to be but that maniac looks impressive. Personally, I’ve gone to wise Guy for tires separate and whatever else specific for wheels. P&S knock off is good for wheels, though.
I went from wise guys to maniac haha 😂 since wise guys now is considered a wheel ad tire cleaner I’ve been using undressed and nv purge now I use nv purge and maniac
If your wheels are coated just use car soap. If not use adams w and t and use a detail spray after you clean it. I just use whatever I use as a drying aid. Oh and brake buster sucks.
@@Ecdetails I don’t mean to be too harsh on it lol. I think it’s weak on brake dust but good otherwise. My car is a bit of an outlier and generates more dust than 99.9% of cars so I’m always looking at ability to remove as much dust as possible without touching. My wheels are ceramic coated and caked with dust after only 100 miles of driving since last wash. The only product I’ve tried so far that comes even close to removing most of the dust without a mitt is Koch Chemie MWC. The problem is it takes a ton of product and the price is super high. It also doesn’t clean tires like alkaline wheel cleaners do. But it is magic on dust. Like the Sonax but much stronger. My tip for not having a rust inhibitor is Gyeon WetCoat on the rotors.
@@chrisbradley3224 I personally don’t care about rust cause the moment you drive it and hit the brake it’s gone . Mwc works super good but then you need a tire a tire cleaner - I know on Bevs Alfa maniac stuff does killer

Great video Eddie on tire cleaner for me I use break buster
Notning wrong with that man it did good!
Eddie you think that manic is safe for my custom painted and anodized wheels
First off what color did you paint them second I’m
Not sure I use it for everything
Brake Buster doesn't make my top 5. I do like it for engine cleaning. Wheel and tire only if it is light maintenance. Good video bro.
