    On July 7, 2022, the Vernon County Sheriff's Office received information from another county regarding the search for a male involved in a serious ongoing case. The Wisconsin DOC was preparing to issue an arrest warrant for him. Later that day, law enforcement tracked the individual's phone, determining his location. A deputy monitoring traffic soon spotted the male's vehicle in Genoa, WI and attempted a traffic stop. However, the man accelerated and evaded the deputies for several miles. In an ironic turn of events, during the pursuit, the suspect decided to give 911 a call.

      Cops act for safety. Pigs act for power. The seatbelt is an excellent Turing test for that.

Like I got it because after I started having PTSD I had to go to VA, I spend a decent amount of time there now got enough disabilty I don't work, and I get free healthcare from them wich is good PTSD kind ruined my last job when it hit it hit hard. But anyways I got it because I spent so much time at VA surrneded by vets with their VIetnam hats and what not, and then found part the plate money went to helping VA so got that, and the sticker is because people ask what branch if they notice and want ask for some reason.
      But it does get me treated diffrent I did get vet pin when working before my mental breakdown I was workign at supermarket durring covid my god people were pissed about shortages that little pin they state laying into me, and I was too messed up from nightmares to calm them down they see the pin, and go "you get, you got shop here too right, thank you for your service." with out pin it was just none stop ranting while I cut their lunchmeat at deli counter...

    This one is a roller coaster! Before knowing his charges he seemed very chill, and a pretty decent personality. Loved the chit chat between him and the officer they were great. I then see the charges and I’m floored. It’s insane how genuine and normal people can seem when they are in reality the actual scum of the earth and then some. Great cop, if everyone behaved like this then there would be nothing but faith in our police officers

      I got locked up for 7 months without bond waiting on a trial for petting a duck in a park against the majority of bystanders will. It's not even illegal to delete a duck and take it home and eat it, as I checked the law before picking up the duck pecking at my feet. As a bird lover being threatened with physical violence by a growing crowd coming down the hill, I picked up my phone and began recording. The crowd dispersed, I went about messing on my phone for ten minutes, looking up to thee, and eventually four, police cars pulling up. They detained me without any resistance, listened to a made up story by the mob, then arrested me without letting me show my evidence stating they had evidence of me choking duck, and believing I beat one to death against a post was the actual action being set up as felony animal cruelty. No feathers, blood, body, or any other evidence. I wasn't even allowed to plead "Not Guilty" because of too many perfectly "matching" witness accounts, threatened to wait another two months to get evidence ready by my public defender. I couldn't take it anymore, so I plead "No Contest" to keep from getting further into depression then my broken brain had been slipping. They put the story on the news with my name and mug shot for everybody to see right after this happened, so I spent years with people calling me the "Duck F**ker" and wanting to believe the story despite me explaining myself. Once in a while a witness will show up randomly and say out of nowhere, "I saw what they did to you. It wasn't right for them to come down that hill for just petting a duck. Then they arrest you!". It helps keep my social sanity, sometimes proving to someone coincidentally along nearby that they are wrong to believe a publicity stunted news story versus my face to face reiteration of the whole situation, and that's why they can't be my friends.

    17 DISMISSED CHARGES!!! And we wonder why criminals continue to reoffend. They don't ever face or fear the consequences of their actions. This guy should never set foot outside of prison for the rest of his life. He clearly is a danger to society and has shown repeatedly that he doesn't care about the laws or who he hurts. It's an absolute disgrace and embarrassment that 17 charges were dismissed. Prosecutors and judges need to start being held accountable for their incompetence.

    • @tonyI0
      @tonyI0 4 месяца назад +44

      It can be extremely hard to prove any charges beyond a reasonable doubt when it’s a “he said she said” situation without other evidence (not sure what the case is here). If you can offer a plea deal to get them on one charge, sometimes that’s the best option

    • @louisbouchard6869
      @louisbouchard6869 4 месяца назад +21

      True the charges were dismissed BUT they can be read in during sentencing and the judge can use those read in charges when considering a sentence in Wisconsin. I am sure that as part of the plea deal, the sentencing length and type was left up to the court. If the Eau Claire County judge in this case is similar to thinking of a La Crosse County judge I know about in a similar case, this guy is looking at decades in prison and will be 80 - 90 before he gets off of supervision, if ever since he will probably end up on the SO registry.

    • @aphreyst4551
      @aphreyst4551 4 месяца назад +23

      Usually the prosecutor will try to throw every charge they can think of at first, then the ones that they're not very confident they can win will be offered to be dropped in a plea deal, or just dropped so the court can proceed with the charges most likely to be proved.
