An update because i was curious: according to Wisconsin court's public records, Broc's sentencing hearing has been postponed and he has a competency hearing scheduled for March. This means that he will be examined by a psychiatrist and it will be determined if he's mentally competent enough to stand trial. He also added on a few more charges, such as more bail jumping, a later hit and run, and violating a temporary restraining order. Edit: Broc has since been charged with several counts of felony bail jumping, discharge of bodily fluid at a public safety worker/prosecutor [twice], and battery by prisoners. I assume the discharge was of saliva and not something... less sanitary, but it's hard to say. At his competency hearing, he was declared incompetent to stand trial and has since been admitted for treatment. Hopefully he can get the mental help he needs.
Offense date for the hit-and-run is 7-28-2022 (click "view history and details for charges/sentences"), so it's invariably for hitting the semi and then continuing to run in this video.
I retired from policing after 30 years. I was never whooped, but was outran a few times. Everyone who turned to fight, went to jail. Getting outrun happens. A fellow officer had a guy run, he never gave chase, not even for a few feet. When asked why, he said when the guy turned to run, he saw that the jacket the guy was wearing was a warmup jacket for the local college cross country team. He just accepted the loss. Hilarious.
I never understood running after positive ID. It’s not like you’re going to wait out that warrant at your buddies house for a week. Gonna run to Mexico illegally for a misdemeanor? Live on a boat? I guess you could run across the country and start over MAYBE, but then you’re just running the risk of turning it into a federal thing. Idk just stupid all around. I’ve always accepted that I fucked up and went to jail. Simple.

I’m so sorry you have to deal with schizophrenia. I don’t know much about it personally but from what I’ve seen it looks like absolute hell to deal with. I have an older cousin that dealt with it his entire life and I wasn’t allowed to see him much as a child because he wasn’t on medication yet at that time and I was only a kid and wouldn’t understand. He’s now been on medication for it for over 12 years and he has a wife and a beautiful child. I wish you nothing but the best. I really do hope it gets a bit better for you with proper medication. 🖤
My cousin has also had similar experiences that escalated quickly because of his schizophrenic episodes. He once drove erratically through traffic then stopped in a busy intersection and striped naked. He has battled his illness and unfortunately he doesn't seem to be winning. My heart breaks for him. Good luck to you.
Ironic is that he did not want to talk to the police because he ends up in jail every time he does, but than he does stuff that puts him in jail. Probably the previous times as well.

Man, my heart goes out to this guy, he's clearly not well. He acted all tough in the hospital, but its not unusual for someone to have moments of clarity during an episode. It doesn't excuse his actions though. Props to the cops, they did a great job ending it without anyone getting seriously hurt.
I dont feel sorry for him at all.. During his "moments of clarity" he clearly revealed that he's just a spoiled asshole, who thinks the world should revolve around him. I hope he gets 20 years, so that the rest of the civilized world gets a long enough break from his bullshit, and can live their lives without this completely unnecessary crap. The sad thing REALLY is that he wont change, and society will end up having to deal with him again at some point. His parents SHOULD have noticed his behavior a LONG time ago, and did something about it then. Unfortunately, it's too late now.
I dont think they did a great job at the beginning. They shouldve just confronted him with the truth, but first they shouldve convinced him that he deserves it or that he has to go through with it. It being going to jail for whatever he did to get the warrant.
How was that a great job? They had basically had him boxed in at the start with that forest in front, they scared him into driving off with those spikes, let him drive off leading them into a high speed chase where nobody died by pure luck. Probably could have just rushed his door at the start when he hit that tree or blocked him from reversing with their cars. Or possibly just talked him down when he was sitting there talking. The first officer looked like he was trying while the others were escalating.

Amazing restraint and professionalism shown by all the Officers. When someone’s in mental crisis and the police corner them and escalate the tactics it usually escalates the individual. To be fair, it’s hard to determine the exact species of the stuffed animal. Being police use K9s and not foxes, my natural assumption was a canine.
Man, this hurts my heart. Both of my kids have mental health needs and I am extremely sensitive when I see these things. I hope he gets some help.
It bothers me too, I know way too many good people with severe mental health problems. Sad, all around
Lmao perhaps you should relax on the baby making then😂
All points towards NPD - Narcissistic Personal Disorder. Almost incurable. Bad parenting is the most probable causing factor.
@@Plastpackad oh, you've got it figured out. Good for you!
@@senormudbone4247 that's hilarious. I never said what the issues are, certainly not anything like the guy in the video. You just verified why I always say, people suck.
We hear nationally when an officer screws up, but when they show compassion, patience, and concern in situations like this, we see it here. Thanks for covering the great LEOs too!! We know main stream isn’t going to show anything but the wrong officers do
How does Wisconsin even give someone like this a license?
Back in high school, his dad let him take his GTR to school a few times.
This is so sad, I hope he’s getting the help he needs.
I actually have tears now. I feel for him. He's not faking it.😢
Why feel for him? He could've killed someone running. He likely cost that truck driver their job unless they had a dashcam and could've killed someone in that parked car if it was occupied. No sympathy for an asshole like that.
I do too 😢
Dude was tweakin’. Do not know how you can show sympathy for this weirdo. Deserves everything he gets. Throw the book at him. Act right and this won’t happen to you, smh

15:34 this poor man is wrestling with demons that will not give him peace. I know I already said this but I really really hope he is getting the help he needs. 20:38 this breaks my heart. The poor man is terrified right there and the officers are doing their best to find a way to get him help first and deal with the legal stuff later. Good on them. These are the types of officers we need.
It was meth
@@davidowen74 drug induced psychosis is still psychosis. Sometimes it causes permanent damage sometimes not. Either way this man needs help. I have one year clean this go round and had 12 years last time. It is not always easy to stop and the way it fluffs with your brain can be terrifyingly real. This man needs help and jail may not be enough to stop him using cus it is easier to get there than on the streets. All I was saying was I hope he gets the help he needs and can find his reason to get and hopefully stay clean. If I came across in any way bwitchy I truly apologize because that was not my intention.
@@davidowen74So? Are people suddenly exempt from human empathy the second they take drugs? Is suffering no longer worth caring about if you think it can be explained away by drug abuse? You’re sickening. This boy is struggling and needs help, plain and simple.
@@davidowen74 Yeah meth that he probably took as a desperate coping mechanism for his severe mental health issues.
@@kit4616lmaoooo the innocent people who have to be in public with this washed up druggie are the ones who deserve compassion. Lay off the meth bro.
“What did I do!?”
Oh I don’t know, I can think of about 5 charges right now
"Every time you guys come to talk to me, I go to jail!" Yeah, that kind of happens when you break the law.
Mind-blowing and outstanding composure these officers performed! Hats off to y'all! And I've never said that to any officers
I hear ya. I have watched a few of these lately from WI and blown away. They are setting the bar@!
Kudos to these LEOs, a lesser group of cops wouldn't have been able to bring that guy in relatively unharmed. And they managed to do that with empathy, patience, and compassion.
I hope that guy gets the help he needs. I hope all the LEOs involved stay safe and keep up the exemplary work!
Not with us?
The cute little hamster plushie on the dash is the real star, go get em' little guy!
15:03 The "Whatever man!" really got to me, lmfao.
Rigggght.😂😂😂😂. The way he just face planted. Was like Jim Carrey or something 😂….and only 2 likes and one comment smh
If the corn kid was one of these deputies he'd be like "IT'S CORN" when he swerved into the field.
He turned a health and wellness check into a felony
When you are never told no as a child.
That man has balls. I've seen way too many scary movies to run into a corn field.
This made me think about my mental issues and makes me scared that I might break down one day and not be able to control my self properly
Just find the meds that work and don’t stop taking them. Unfortunately there is no magic pill. Just bad moments in the past that can’t be erased.

These officers were fantastic. Did everything they could to keep this guy safe from himself.
They really didn’t. They had a chance in the first 5 min to completely stop him instead they let him go and cause a danger to everyone.
The unfortunate event that he had a warrant and then was having a bad day. Glad this turned out with no casualties. And it was nice to see the officers handle the situation in a professional calm collective manner. The justice system is not the place for him to fall through the cracks.
My guy thought his 1 star rating in GTA went away lol 😂
Donut is absolutely right. Wisconsin is america's GTA server. That guy literally had his stars dropped to 1 and brought them back up by getting seen.
He’s not wrong. “Every time you ‘just wanna talk’ I go to jail”. They say that every time. “Real quick” means you’re off to jail. How this isn’t common knowledge amongst criminals I don’t know. Maybe they’re not all that smart.
That's partly why they get into such situations. They're not smart enough to either avoid doing something that gets them into trouble, or when they do, to realize that they are caught and everything is going to be so much better if they comply instead of resisting
Yes. They are not that smart at all
Notice how quickly these not so smart people want an attorney to magically show up when they know that they screwed up royal.
I'd over to see how this fruitcake is going to act during his sentencing trial. Pure entertainment!
@@cobrajet4602 You are entitled to an attorney when speaking to a cop
@@deltaninjadrm not while detained pre-arrest. You have a right to remain silent. You aren’t entitled to an attorney on the side of the road.
@@chadly19 Thank you, Chad, for attempting to clarify that very simple fact to someone whi thinks he knows "the law" but probably gets all of his wrong information from the "legal experts" at the nearest Trailor Park or homeless camp!
Maybe if this guy didnt collect warrants like they were pokemon, he wouldnt go to jail every time the cops talk to him?
it's very likely that his mental illness greatly contributed to his struggles with the law. punishment doesn't fix people, but rehabilitation and therapy has been shown to greatly decrease the chances of recidivism. compassion > force.
“Better Living Through Chemistry”, yeah right. (Old 60’s advert from Dow or Du Pont)
Gotta love the employee of the month who just throws his wrapped spike strips at the front of the suspect’s car.😂
When you close down all the mental facilities, you get situations that handcuffs and high speed chases can't fix.
When buddy got hit by the semi I thought that was a wrap for him 😳
15:13 - This may seem like a strange observation, but I swear 10 or 15 years ago, criminals didn't act like petulant children and scream and cry like babies when they got caught. Yea, they might have talked a bunch of trash, but when they got caugth, for the most part, they took their charges on the chin and owned up.
This one got me in the feels. I have a son with patient is very young though. I think the officers did the best they could. There are so many people with mental issues, and only so much you can do to help.
I love how honest the officer be about the spike strip
