did he really say that the officers were scaring him ? SIR! You killed someone with your car, evaded the police driving over 100 MPH, endangered thousands of civilians and had an innocent bystander in your car who's life you put at risk. And you have the audacity to say how YOU'RE scared?!

I'm more surprised he wasn't doing over 100mph on the city streets! It's pretty common here when they flee b/c over 100 on city streets, MPD has to terminate.

I just want to say that that genuinely is some absolute next level stuff!!!! I would definitely love to see more departments adopt that SOP, so that the LEO's involved in the pursuit could just continue driving safe, staying on the suspect fleeing, and remain mentally focused on whatever threats/dangers might lurk around from the fleeing suspect as opposed to potentially risking and lives/safety by being distracted having to constantly be on the radio updating their location/direction of travel.

You would think agencies who know how dangerous this stuff can be would be buying widely available things like steering wheel mounted push to talk buttons and aftermarket heads up displays that show speed, direction and street names depending on how high end they are. They are also extremely slow to adopt new pursuit technologies like star chase, grappler, a bumper mounted spike strip, traffic light preemption that gives officers green lights based on wifi data and can also give emergency alerts on Apple navigation and wayz.

Glad to see that no one was hurt or killed and when those guys knew they couldn't continue any further and gave up with no issues and took it like a man and the police did everything right and cool . Plus the driving freaking awesome but a few times very intense to extreme close calls . Wow it has been one of the best police chases I've ever seen . Where the suspects were never taking off and the police were on their tails like a tornado in texas in july . I just couldn't stop watching and listening to dispatch relaying the info too . I've got to say thats one tough Chevy S-10 . Glad everyone made it through safe though .
