he did not have time to transfer from the truck to the motocross bike. need to wear body armor. take at least a couple of defensive fragmentation grenades to protect the infantryman in the fight against superior resistance forces, as well as a powerful smoke bomb and wire cutters. then he would have at least some chance.
Cops can't nor should they shoot at tires unless absolutely neccesary, and this situation wasn't one of them heres why; 1. The Bullet could easily miss it's mark (guns aren't as easy to aim as you may think) and ricochet 2. They were in a domestic area with people living in homes at the times he was cornered 3. Shooting a tire mid-pursuit has an incredibly low chance of hitting it's mark, as well as if it DID manage to hit it's mark, the car could spin out of control and hit pedestrians, other cars, a home, etc.
The worst thing ever is the fact that the first cop car, at the back of the van, didn't even tried to block him!!! As an retired officer I'm ashamed!!!
If you are referring to the parking lot that cop had jumped out of his vehicle and took cover. He had no backup at the time. Not sure if this is the incident you are referring to but not possible to move your car when you are not in it.

I think the most egregious thing about this chase is the fact that they viciously slammed that innocent man into the ground, busted his nose, and arrested him. Meanwhile the perp gets paraded with tender care into a squad car while they waited on EMTs. Truly an LAPD moment.
Your point was the most incredible about this. It's followed only by the fact none of rest of this needed to occur had that cop kept him pinned in the van with backup arriving seconds later. CA in competence on world wide display.
How do you know his nose was busted. I didn’t see that. If it was I would consider that he had just been involved in a 2 car collision so I would not think the police caused it. Plus, I would more believe they had to hand cuff the car wreak victim for his own safety. I know some hot heads that if they were in that situation white rage would be driving them and they would have went straight and confronted the perpetrator. Maybe the officers were preventing that from happening. That makes more sense than to believe they pulled a car wreak victim out of a car, injure him and then hand cuff him for jail. That sounds dumb.
@@Marg205 Yours is the first rational suggestion of why the innocent guy in the car got so manhandled. I was thinking the cops just had steroid rage after the chase.
They threw that guy down and tackled him as if he was the guy they were after. They weren't doing that just to keep him from approaching the pickup I'm sorry to say. A shame.
I thought that maybe it was somehow a person related to the truck that was stolen, following down the persuit with his own agenda to get back at the car thief😊😊
What I can't get over is that he had moved to the passenger side of the truck before it even dawned on the cops to COVER THE FRIGGIN' PASSENGER SIDE OF THE TRUCK! Also, once he was apprehended, in cuffs, in a cop car, really how many cops do you need standing around? Is there no other crime in SoCal that they anticipate for the rest of the evening? Don't they think it would be a good idea to get back to their regions so they're available in case there just might be more crime somewhere? Christ, there were multiple vehicles hit. Maybe they could go see if someone needs help. Apparently, it takes about 50 cops to put up yellow tape.
The police are afraid to do their jobs because of how many previous cops have been abandoned and imprisoned for stopping situations like this before the got to this point. I say give the a public award an thank them for their service.

Cops can't nor should they shoot at tires unless absolutely neccesary, and this situation wasn't one of them heres why;
1. The Bullet could easily miss it's mark (guns aren't as easy to aim as you may think) and ricochet
2. They were in a domestic area with people living in homes at the times he was cornered

Man, you couldn't of SCRIPTED it better, and I've lived here 40 years now, thought I'd seen it all ... ☺️
Yes, this guy is awesome, commentary, narration was fantastic. Team didn't miss a beat.
I busted out laughing at the end. This was so pathetic! Extremely embarrassing.
I hope these cops found a differemt calling because oh man! 😂😂😂😂
Sadly, The gardener's family members and their dogs had more courage than hundreds of officers to stop the suspect. If the suspect's last truck's tire was not gone this could have gone on for hours more or maybe days with those officers' failing tactics!!
Right great point
FACTS THE GARDNER WASN'T GOING FOR IT.. THEY WAS PULLING HIM BACK. HE JUST GOT THAT TRUCK AND THAT WEED WACKER WAS PROBABLY A NEW JOHN DEERE BRO WASN'T HAVING IT... I WOULDN'T NEITHER
Police afraid to lose their job and lawsuit,, it maybe part of calif progressive agenda for criminals a right to express their anger policy..
surely you’d rather the cops risk killing other drivers on the road or kill the suspect
The fact is that the cops have been completely removed from decision making. They cannot take initiative. Any tactical move MUST be approved by a higher up in a response room before it can be executed, and of course the opportunity is gone by the time the decision gets made.
He completely destroyed that work truck! I feel bad for the person who just walks into work saying “yeah my truck got stolen and my house was broken into” 😅
Hope he got good insurance.
And the new car papers were still in the back window......
But the wife held him back.
@@gshrdy5415 I don't know about his insurance but he got a good GoFundMe. And well deserved. He already has a brand new van. The community really came together for him.
@@chelseashawtampa aww they did? Thank goodness because I thought about him having a gofundme. I would have donated.
They could use this as a training video. So many missed opportunities put so many lives in danger, not to mention the completely avoidable home invasion.
That was wild for real
First learning the Constitution. Diversity training has Never worked. I'd love to think they could learn from this. I h*te cops but they did look as if they were following department procedure
Exactly..if have someone die in this story...l think only this bad police ..because .the bad police want ít that way..
Exactly, it could have ended up with a hostage situation.
It seems stupid is a qualification to be one of these cops.
The suspect was also quite lucky that he did this in California. In most of the country, he wouldn't have made it out of that house alive.
OMG! My jaw dropped and I could not believe my eyes when the van wasn't moving, sparks were flying, it was overheating, a police car behind him, two more pull up, no one is doing a damn thing. All of a sudden he decides "Well hell! I am invincible, so I might as well just get out of the vehicle on foot and see what other stuff I can get away with!" Lol
Right then, I start screaming at the video, "Where the f... are the cops, they were just right there, nobody seen him get out of the van, GET HIM!" Heck I am disabled and in a wheelchair and I could have taken him down by just rolling after him and taking some damn action, HELL!
Love this commentary and camera guy. I never watch these types of videos and the reporter had me on the edge of my seat, KUDOS Dude!
I swear most of the time there were no cops behind him, I mean the reporter guy was hinting and trying to tell the cops exactly what to do, like he could have caught the guy himself for as long as it took the police to react. Heck, I bet he even wanted to yell, "DO SOMETHING, DON'T JUST STAND THERE, USE YOUR WEAPONS, SHOOT!" DAMN!
No regrets watching this! 😮
They treated a random civilian worse than the guy that did all of this damage. Thats messed up. 1:10:30 at the top right
Why did they arrest him💀🤣
and you know everything that was happening at the scene, probably wouldn't listen to the officers....could it be they came across someone with a warrant.
@@tonyknuckles2954 if you watch carefully, the ones that arrest him are the cops that arrive late. So either it just so happens that a seperate unit were also chasing the guy that got crashed into, or they f***** up with wrong info and arrested the wrong guy.
EDIT UPDATE: they arrested the wrong guy and the man is now suing the police department.
Cops I wonder why why they arrested him..... seems like those cops were thinking he was the suspect
His name is Adrian Cruz - was just trying to get his family to safety. Cops felt he was in the way so they took out their frustration on an innocent civilian
I loved the commentator energy; he was engaged in the chase more than all policemen, he’s fallen short of praising the fugitive run away driver determination to escape the so called pursuit!
Unfortunately this is what society gets for complaining about use of force, and not doing there job. So they show up and don't do there job until the person is done running. Product of the double-minded society that politicians have created numbing and confusing the people's understanding of right and wrong. I actually felt like you're was GTA. I was like wow this looks real. Who is playing it 😆
Whoever gave this guy narrating a job. THANK YOU. He is the best and so entertaining. ❤️
Live chat was hilariously wild!
Someone said it was their gardner 🤣
Ive never seen such incompetence the police had plenty of opportunity to take him out and just stood back
THIS MUST BE A JOKE OR MOVIE FOR THE POLICE NO TIME TO PLAY
This entire thing is embarrassing for the police. Had they worked harder in the beginning, NONE of that insane damage would've happened. That guy went full-on GTA here.
In California it’s only doomed to get worse at this rate, used to be such a beautiful state.. sad
When DON'T police embarrass themselves??? The entire institution of law enforcement in the US is a joke. They use excessive force all the time when it's unwarranted, and then don't use enough or step up and do their jobs when it is warranted. They're absolutely useless.
@@robbiematthews168 I know, a lot of states like that, Texas, or so on used to be lot nicer...
They can't shoot suspect in California otherwise the DA and the activist on that area will go on full rage.
This is what you get with too much bureaucracy.... all going by the stupid rule book ...
What a great job that helicopter reporter did. Not only he gave a traffic report, but he also told the residents to stay away from the street. He deserves an Emmy.
Now who’s gonna pay for all the property damage?
US! TAXPAYERS! 🤬
LAPD
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
These gta 6 graphics lookin promising
😅
Wooooww. This was terrible from how long it took to even catch up to him…to arresting a bystander!! Smh they need to arrest themselves for that terrible work. I hope they aren’t proud of themselves.
Lol 😆
Why did they arrest the bystander??
@@nickballowe777 The million dollar question…they probably don’t even know! Smh
This was better than a full length movie! Twists and turns that no Hollywood writer could of came up with!
I am stunned by the poor performance of law enforcement. Obviously they have one arm tied behind their back. Lethal force should have been permitted and employed from the start imho.
Why were they willing to use more force on a random guy witnessing the crime than the actual criminal...
Because he started assaulting officers and citizens???
Yeah it doesn't make any sense
i think that guy pulled a gun. he took a shooting stance. my guess.
@@timg2973 no he didn't, he got out of his car because he didn't want to be in the crossfire, and then got arrested because the cops thought he was the suspect
@@Germo_07 are you serious? They thought he was the guy with the stolen truck right in front of them and police aiming their guns at it? How did you find that out?
There should be a public safety alert (similar to an Amber alert) for people when a chase like this occurs. Should be an app for that.
Then other criminals could more easily assist the guy who is running.
Can we acknowledge the fact the dude at 1:10:30 just standing by trying to gtfo in his own car gets arrested for no reason and more brutal than the actual perp.
same, i wondered too about why tf are they arresting that dude for
We dont know what he said to police so you should not assume something without facts .
@@raymoake51 bro people are weird! What do you mean we don’t know what he said? What can you SAY after somebody smashes into your car to get arrested?
I want to know why they arrested him, curious if they thought he was apart of it
@@zodiaczodiac865 that's my guess that in the heat of it all some of the police serieusly mistook him for the perp, that, or. they wanted his vehicle to stay put for cover, and he wasn't complying.
I cannot stress enough how much incompetence from the police was seen in this chase.
