Description: Pasadena, California - On April 13, 2024, at 8:39 PM, officers from the Pasadena Police Department contacted an occupied suspicious vehicle on Hudson Avenue near Del Mar Boulevard. The vehicle, a white pick-up truck, was parked facing the wrong way on a one- way street. As officers were conducting their investigation and conversing with the driver, he suddenly sped off. While doing so, the suspect narrowly missed striking an officer with his truck. Now wanted for an assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, units initiated a short vehicle pursuit that ended when the suspect crashed into the front yard of a home located in the 800 block of Arden Road. The suspect fled from his vehicle and ran into the residential neighborhood. Officers established a containment and organized a search team to conduct yard-to-yard searches. While fleeing, the suspect forcibly entered two occupied residences. With the assistance of the Pasadena Police Department’s airship, officers located the suspect in the rear yard of a property located in the 700 block of Oak Knoll Circle. A K9 dog was first to contact the suspect, however, the suspect still refused to surrender. As the K9 dog was engaged with the suspect, the suspect produced a handgun. The suspect refused to comply with orders to drop the handgun and an officer-involved shooting occurred. As a result of the shooting, the suspect sustained gunshot wounds. Officers performed life-saving measures on the suspect until paramedics from the Pasadena Fire Department arrived. Upon arrival, paramedics continued performing life-saving measures and transported the suspect to a local hospital. The suspect was later pronounced deceased. A handgun was recovered from the shooting scene. No officers were injured during the shooting. The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Ricardo Guade Andrade, a San Fernando resident.

@@F_K3NT_D the fact that a man can graduate high school with his Pierce and get a job as a police officer and then have the right to kill somebody if they run from you is beyond my mental capacity
Hey, I just have a question. If a police officer stops a suspicious guy that has no ID, why not lay spike strips in front and behind the car as a precaution. If everything checks out pull them up. Why risk him killing pedestrians or officers with his car? It would at least greatly hinder his getaway. Maybe make light weight versions for that purpose.
I think I saw on Code Blue Cam, so it would have been Wisconsin police, where they stopped a guy who seemed shady and as a precaution, they stuck something around one of his back tires. I can't remember the name of it, but it basically works like a stop stick and pops the tire if the car tries to move with it in place. Anyway, the guy *was* shady enough to flee and the device *did* pop the tire like it was meant to...however unlike stop sticks, this device just causes a slow leak rather than an actual tire pop, so the guy was still able to flee for quite a few miles before actually losing the tire. So, it won't actually *stop* a person from fleeing, but it can definitely limit how far they can go.
When the nicotine levels drop to the point where the craving becomes uncomfortable, you light up a smoke. Ask a smoker. He probably would have lit up a cig even if all his shit was in order.

@whatcher8151 Maybe if he showed his hands they would have moved in to get the dog off lmao but ohhhh look bro had a gun he could have lived screaming like a b buh he died like one like bro said above 😂
I mean the cop was pretty dumb by not expecting this situation. He literally pointed the crown on his hand and the totality of the circumstances should have alerted him to the fact that he had a bona-fide Latin King pulled over. This was always going to end in a shootout. He has no license, probably has priors, and has zero loss of composure where everyone else would be panicking. He was waiting for the officer to either leave him alone out of fear or to bang his way out of the situation.
As soon as he lit that cigarette his whole demeanor changed, it was like the light went out in his eyes. He knew he wasn't going back to prison. At one point he hung his right hand out of the window & his left was hidden....made my nerves bad wondering what he was up to. They gave him plenty of chances to turn it around & sadly he chose to go out like that instead.🤦♀️
It goes to show how not following directions can go from a friendly chat to screaming like a bitch while a dog eats your arm seconds before you get ended with 12 gauge to the face and the biggest contribution your life had was slightly greener grass for a week.
The man was trying to defend his life against the vicious dog that the police didn't pull off. If the police got the dog away he would have been submitting . Instead he had to defend his life by shooting the dog , but the cops instead murdered him for protecting his own life
Probably drugs since he took his sweet time getting a duffel bag out of the truck and carried it with him. Either it was worth too much to leave behind or it belonged to someone else who he feared more than the police.
