During March 2022, a 36-year-old man repeatedly violated a restraining order by attempting to contact his ex girlfriend in Tavernier, FL. He went as far as falsely reporting an incident while posing as a New York state trooper. After his initial arrest and release on bond, a new warrant was issued for his impersonation of a police officer, and he willingly turned himself in.

same. in theory they should be an ok potion of the totality of prearrest protocol - in real life they are just a perjury trap. Had a cop switch his light and finger position thinking I wouldn't notice that he was incorrectly performing the test.

Me too. I have always thought if they get you to do a field sobriety test they would find something to fail you on. I’m not a LEO but it seems a lot of the test is subjective hence easily failing someone.

around here DUI's are a big cash grab/boosts the numbers of crimes "solved". The solved rate of almost any other category is shockingly low. You can easily lose your case based on subjective opinion, and you can expect every buzzword in the book to show up at some point even if not noted in a citation. The whole glossy, red watery eyes, slurred speech, smells etc. The lowest tiered dui is basically tied to also just being "impaired", so being tired, or simple lack of not paying attention for a second can still win them the day. That is even if you pass the chemical testing and all. It is pretty ruthless, even with a vetted attorney. @@kaptainkaos1202

Chicago alone has more people than most of the red states combined.
Urban environments come with increased crime. Just a fact of cities and is true worldwide.
