On February 24, 2023, a female driver evaded an officer who had pulled her over for not wearing a seatbelt in La Crosse, WI. She fled on foot into her house but later exited following a period of de-escalation. The officer found that her driver's license was revoked, and she was on probation and had four misdemeanor bonds. She soon realized that she could have received a simple traffic citation, but her decision to run has now resulted in her going to jail.

Yesterday was Saturday. I thought I was working for five hours and it turned into 11.5 and I had to cancel plans I was extremely looking forward to, and I work six days a week so Saturday night is literally my only completely free night where I don't have to wake up early the next morning. Welcome to the real world, lady. Sometimes you do what you have to do.
I knew an idiot kid who was arrested along with 2 of his friends. They robbed a man & took his car and money but not his phone so he was able to call 911. The police found them only 2 blocks away sitting at a green light arguing over how to split $40 three ways. Because the kid was 17 the judge gave him a choice. He could be sent to juvie right away & stay for a few months until he turned 18 & being a minor the records would be sealed. Or the following week he could be sent to adult jail and stay for an entire year and he would have a record. He chose jail because he didn't want to miss a big party that weekend.

Good Lord, this girl seriously doesn't realize how kindly she was treated throughout this entire process. Literally some of the nicest and most considerate cops I've ever seen

Insults the cop who's transporting her and doesn't even apologise when he says he's going to give her a misdemeanor instead of a felony, really shows what kind of person she is. If she's trying to get her life back on track and can't pay for all those charges then an idea is to perhaps stop breaking the law and abide by the rules of her probation, but that's apparently too difficult.

This was genuinely one of the nicest police interactions i have seen on RUclips. They went above and beyond for her, and she still wanted to make the narrative that they were rude and mean to her. All of it was her own choices and consequences. Hope when she grows up she starts to learn.

To drive on a revoked license, run from a traffic stop, almost cause two collisions, leave your car in the middle of the street, barricade yourself inside your house, and complain you're being "harassed" because the police won't pick you up on a day that's more convenient for you, after you've had a chance to talk to your friends... Why would all the charges and citations be dropped since she so richly deserved them? All her incessant talking, complaints, and blaming others for her behavior was so annoying. Her future is looking questionable unless she starts being accountable for her actions.
Been to jail 30 times before the age of 25, multiple cases open at the same time, her father allows her to manipulate and control him. And to top it all off, all the charges were dropped, citation fees done away with, and she received no real punishment other than extending the probation she was already on. And this is exactly why she acts the way she does. This woman is a menace to her community, her family, and the police, yet isn't held accountable for any of her actions.

They probably did it on a plea deal for her previous charges. My guess is that they gave her a worse deal than she would have gotten because they had this leverage over her. In other words she did get punished for it. She didn’t get the electric chair, so you probably aren’t satisfied, but this is how things work.
