On June 24, 2023, a Columbia County Sheriff's deputy in Lodi, WI, pulled over a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver displayed indicators of impairment such as slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Upon being informed of her arrest on suspicion of OWI, she actively resisted the deputies.

And even if she had passed all those tests, he will still give the breath test, regardless. She was speeding, blew a .114, kneed an officer in the groin, pissed on the back of a cop car. Even the nurse at the hospital tried to explain why she was in her current situation. She hurled disgusting insults at the officer, told him he had a small d%$k, cried like a baby and then pretended to hyperventilate... AND GOT AWAY WITH IT ALL. What is wrong with our country?

I got a DUI when i was 18. Didn't get pulled over, but I ended up wrecking the vehicle on the road next to my house. When the police showed up, I was still drunk, but I admitted that I did it and went silently to jail. I broke a societal rule and didn't fuss about it, I just accepted my punishment. I ended up with a 5000 dollar fine and 2 years probation. Had to do random breathalyzers and go to AA twice a week for the first year. The second year i had to do 200 hours of community service. It sucked but it taught me a lesson. Havent drank and drove since. I have a friend who's sister was killed by a drunk driver a couple years ago. I want the police to catch every one of these assholes, and I'm glad they caught me before i killed someone. The end.

All of this is cool, aside from the 'societal rule'... it's absolutely not that. See, the thing is, MOST rational and responsible people make those decisions when it comes to the actual driving, and choose not to do it while intoxicated. And ALL of us agree that you should accept your punishment if you weren't rational and responsible. You were a rational person, but not responsible. Here you are describing irrational and irresponsible as a 'societal rule' but if this were the case, then practically every car on the road would be a drunk driver. But that's not the case. Not even close. Just like the unhappy people are the loudest, and therefore the most seen, so are the irrational and irresponsible.
TL;DR Don't put this bitches behavior on society... this is FAR from how the VAST majority of people act in these situations. Also hilarious how you prop yourself up on a pedistal to act like you're above the 'societal rule' which is to NOT drink and drive in the first fuckin place. That's literally a rule in society bud. Good that you learned your lesson, but you should probably suck yourself off a bit less when talking about it, because it's a lesson MOST human beings learn without the actual real world experience of doing it in the first fuckin place.

I'm a lawyer and my free legal advice is this - if you're going to worry about what happens to your dog, don't break the law and put yourself in a situation where you can't care for your dog. And if you're in a situation where you will spend a few hours at jail and bond out after booking because it's probably a misdemeanor issue, don't commit aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer x2 and turn your situation into a felony where you are probably going to see some jail time if convicted

If people wouldn't take the stupid risk of driving drunk, then many lives would be saved.
