96 in a *_35_* is honestly crazy
That’s an automatic arrest in some states.
U would loose ur licence in sweden
In the UK 30mph over the mark speed limit is an automatic loss of licence. 61 over the marked limit, I hope it would be arrest as the area that is been driven through is likely to be residential, or businesses with slow moving vehicles and people stepping off the curb (we jaywalk all the time as it's not illegal), or kids on bikes, etc. Highly dangerous, 90 feckin 6 what the hell was be thinking?
It's actually a crime. Anyone else would be arrested.
Reckless endangerment. Should be much more than a citation.
I love that he called his coworker to spill the tea first 🤣😂
He was like, "Bro, you won't believe this!"
In the longer version of the video, he's asking what he should do and they told him it's his call , so he decided to give the ticket .it wasn't gossip .
He called up the ranks 1st.

I did 87 in a 45 once on an empty road before the sun was up trying to get to work because there was never a cop on that road for 6 or 7 months before the incident and I almost had my license suspended with my very first ticket. the guy was the most patient and kind officer I had ever met and gave me just a 2 point ticket. I'll never forget.
Lucky asf
um ok
Progen
That’s crazy! I literally went through the same thing a few years back, same story & everything except I was taking a buddy too school.
I was going 85 in a 30 once at 2am coming home from work. A cop somehow snuck up behind me, lights off, and passed me.
Much respect to this officer that no matter who the driver is they’re profesional and still make sure that everyone is driving safe
That's first time I have EVER seen a Chief actually accept his ticket without bitching about it. AND he said "yes sir" TWICE!
I'm impressed!
He should be adding "thank you"- going over 2x the speed limit would catch anyone else charges
And watching the camera the whole time 😅
It's a weird line of chiefs who would speed like that in their territory who would also respect being pulled over. I imagine most chiefs that would act like this when pulled over aren't doing things to get themselves pulled over all too often.
Next week he'll be transferring to the deepest most dangerous precinct ever.and got hatefull looks in locker rooms&got bully bad..have you ever heard:"Blue Silence?"
He is on camera.
I respect them holding each other accountable and accepting accountability
What is there to respect. If it were LITERALLY ANY OTHER PERSON this would be EXPECTED. There is no reason to give them props for doing the bare minimum.
Edit: Furthermore, they were doing 96 in a 35. That is well beyond reckless. They should not be a cop if they are willing to endanger others on the road in such an extreme fashion.
@@Rickolas. Why do you think he got a mandatory court date? It's because he was cited for CRIMINAL SPEEDING. The cop literally did not have to do that, he had the right to even make it a warning if he really wanted to, that would be a dumb call on his part though.
Bullshit. This should be a felony charge for over 50 over the speed limit. If it was you or me, we would be in jail.
it was intentional - he was testing his loyalty to the public and adherance to internal policy involving special interest.
he passed the test, and the ticket never existed.
@@Rickolas.Once my dad (volatile guy himself) followed a speeding truck to his house after seeing him going at least 60 in a residential neighborhood multiple days in a row. Guy turned out to be a cop

Our boys in blue would pull so much bs like crashing into each other to go harass a local store owner for not giving them free shit. The only two units, crashed into each other. One cop was arrested multiple times for beating his wife and refusing to pay to enter fairs, working drunk, etc
After he was finally fired he sued the town and still kept his pension. Ridiculous
Another town my old man worked for had a chief that raped women in his suv, had an insurance scam with a dealership stealing cars, and tied with Chinese mob.
My father was black listed from getting a job at other departments cause he was a “rat” for reporting the above.
Yeah he knows he gonna show his buddy’s at work

Mad respect for that deputy. Didn't even argue about the ticket.
Much respect for the chief!
Refreshing to see this. Professional, courteous, and polite on both sides.
Yup😊 respect
No. 61mph over is mandatory jail time in most states, and usually comes with a slew of other arrestable offenses.
The police for this specific department in GA is to arrest and impound the vehicle if defined as a "super speeder" (75+ on 2 lane, 85+ on 4 lane or interstate), so why the hell didn't he arrest the officer and have the other officer in the car drive it to be impounded?
it is scripted
Anyone else caught going 61 miles over the speed limit would go to jail for a felony, not a cop though ! This is why we are slaves , they are not held accountable!
If this is refreshing to see then I feel sorry for Americans. This is the standard you hold yourselves too? An officer breaks the law and acts calmly about it and thats a win? Your country is a joke.
this is the first time I’ve seen a video like this when the cop treats the other cop with respect and doesn’t abuse his power. I respect the guy that was speeding.

@@778hallo That ticket would've cost me 10400$.... because where I live that would be a felony charge with Grand Excessive Speed, our License have 15pts before losing it, a Grand Excessive charge is double the speed limit, this guy did almost triple, would've lost like 40pts here (2 and a half license to buy back, redo a year of license formation per license), impoundment of the car for 6months (all paid by his pocket) plus more or less 5000$ in fines

But in *THIS* case the chief went almost THREE TIMES the speed, and USUALLY officer's would ask us if we were doing drugs/have we been drinking etc. and then arrest us for reckless driving, revoke our driving licence, have our car impounded,a certain amount of points on your license record and probably a HUGE fine.
All of which this guy escaped from.
Oh and also, you reallly should not be speeding.😐(unless it was for a good reason ig)
Nah bro if that was a regular person doing that speed in a 35 you're going to jail and your vehicle is being towed.
Respect to those involved.
What a humble guy
He took that ticket with a side of humble pie without having a power trip with his position. Gotta respect that
He was doiug 100MPH in a 35!!! WTF is he gonna say?!?!
@fibonacchio-matrixjones6064 Well, with him being the Cheif, a lot of times they'll use their position of power to try and get out of the situation. He didn't and acted accordingly.
Of course he did, because he knows if he was a civilian he'd be going to jail for attempted manslaughter doubling the speed limit like that.
@@RockBoBsteRMusic attempted manslaughter lmfao
@@zebacake4683 Go look it up before you laugh.
I like the fact that the office proceeded without hesitation. I highly respect his attitude.
You highly respect his attitude speeding in the publics' car?
@@jamierupert7563You sure are dense
@@jamierupert7563shut up bruh
@@baileyquick6not really. Any regular citizen would’ve been arrested for reckless driving
Going 96mph in a 35 zone is being a disgusting self centered criminal disregarding the lives and general safety of fellow citizens and his passenger. There is absolutely no reason to give him any credit.
I just loved when he said Really!! 🤣🤣 And he just smiled back.
“License is in the back so you can take the picture” is the real key to the video!!
He took ownership! That’s a real man!
And a stupid man.
I bet that deputy will in fact earn a bit from this
This is how your supposed to act during a traffic stop
No that's actually a criminal
A citation and no arrest for 60 miles over the speed limit isn’t exactly taking ownership 😂
Wonder what that cop in the passenger seat was thinking lol
Let us get off this one time lol blk brother thought that white privilege was gone work🤣🤣😅
😂😂😂😅
That he wanted popcorn for this 😂😂
Thank God i wasn't driving. 😂👍
Hoping he don’t smell the weed
No need to argue. This will be dismissed in court.
No it wont bot.
Humbled and took it like a man. Amendable.
Honestly they both deserve kudos for handling business.
They deserve kudos???? 😂
@@billycarter1798Yep!
HELL NAH if it was another civilian they would’ve arrested his ass
@@jorgeverjel1392you cant get arrested for speeding…
In the army, I once asked for ID from a relatively high ranking officer that was actually in my chain of command, but since I was new to the unit, I didn't recognize him. At first he was a bit annoyed that I didn't let him through, but I told him that I don't know who he is, and so he needs to give me ID. He then commended me for following protocol.
He knew he was caught and dint make a fuzz about it! Class act!
I see what you did there.
Go watch the full version. He was an a$$! He told the officer to “do what you think is right” and stared him down.
Why would he make a fuss wouldn’t be surprised if next day in work he could just deleted the ticket / charges
@@MamaBear_2629 “do what you think is right” doesn’t paint him as a bad person at all imo. I think u should’ve chosen a different quote
Class act would have been to obey the laws he was sworn to instead of reckless disregarding the speed limit. He should have been arrested
Honestly mad respect, took his licks show humility and was humble. Also was respectful to his subordinate and not pulling rank. Probably getting a hell of a ass chewing but everyone makes mistakes
