I wanted to leave My Take on the gift exchange text debockle involving Robyn and the kids. I've watched a few videos giving Robyn credit for trying to protect the interests of her youngest children. For most people I think this would be a reasonable position. However, as I consider the body of Robyn's time on Sister Wives I am leaning more towards something far more sinister.

Anyone who buys Robin's story is the kind of sucker she would try to con. And of course the kids hate her. She's a manipulative homewrecker who literally robbed their moms blind.
And took their dad from them!! Oh,and tried to mother teenagers without realizing that you have to build up some sort of good will or credibility with them. Everyone says Christine saw Robyn for who she was from the jump. You know who else did? The older Brown children!! They saw her for the manipulative,fame whoring,money grubbing shrew she was and decided to wash their hands of her. Good for them!
Hence the name of "Robb'em"...she wears the name well and came by it honestly.

Christine saw right through Robyn from the get go. That's why Robyn hates Christine. The viewers were also onto her from the start. We were all correct. There is no fool like an old fool...Kody is so blind to Robyn's falseness. He forced Robyn onto the family, and thus destroyed his first 3 families.
By the time Christine and Janelle knew about Robyn and her Hellspawn Kody was already too far gone to do a damned thing about it. Imagine being Christine at that point. You're pregnant out to Salt Lake,you find out your husband has been courting a new woman,she's divorced,with three crumb-gobbling brats,debt coming out every orifice and that's just after you miscarried,hemorraged,nearly died,and you finally think you're going to have some money and now your finite resources are going to be split amongst you,your two sister wives,your husband,your six kids,your sister wives seven kids,and now this bish and her three? Oh,and added bonus your husband is planning on babymaking with the new door prize wife and you have to pay off her debts,her rent and pay for her food while it seems her only job is to frick your husband senseless,look pretty and cry. Christine not only called it from the beginning but Stevie Wonder could've called this crap from the beginning as well.
Christine Brown and Robyn’s ex-husband David Jessop are cousins. There’s a good reason why Robyn hated Chitine’s very existence because Christine KNEW what Robyn had and had not done while married to David Jessop. If she really wanted the kids to know their siblings, she would have had them on the gender reveal. She's a liar.
Or she would have tried harder, she would have found a way to get together during Covid.
She would've attempted to build relationships with them when they were still living at home and encouraged their father to spend time with them. She jumped in and tried to parent them and it failed miserably because she didn't have any stock built up with them. Her relationship with them was crap because she tried to enforce rules and what not and they weren't even her kids. How do you threaten to kick your husband's daughter out of her mother's house? She did that with Madison. She told Madison if she didn't sign the family mission statement she could move out. Like that's not your kid. That's not your house. How are you gonna throw a kid that's not yours out of their mama's house? That would be like me going to my sister's house and telling my 21 year old nephew to move out. Not that I would do that because I adore that young man but no. You don't have the right to do that.
It’s a disgrace that Robyn’s kids don’t know their siblings, they didn’t know them when the family got together for Xmas at Robyn’s before Covid. This is all her fault. They all moved to flagstaff for daytons uni, and she got the 1.8 million dollar home with the proceeds and inheritance of their mothers. She’s a step monster
She doesn't have a good relationship with any of the OG3 kids except for Mykelti,possibly,and maybe Gwen. Every other kids,excluding Logan and Leon,have stated that or given examples as to why. Paedon said that Hunter never respected Robyn and he even told her,"You're not my mother." when she told him to do something. Madison stated on a podcast that she doesn't have a relationship with Kody and Robyn but considering that at the commitment ceremony Madison asked,"What happens if we don't sign the mission statement?" and Robyn was all set to kick Madison out of Madison's own mother's house I can see why she wouldn't want one.

Why didn’t Robyn have a painting done with her children and all the other children together? No. She made a picture of her kids and Kody and that’s what she’s got. Her actions don’t align with what she purposes to want. She could be showing her kids pictures of their siblings everyday. She could have the littler ones FaceTime them regularly, but she doesn’t. Instead she tells them they aren’t wanted, the other families don’t want to have Thanksgiving with them, that Christine doesn’t want a relationship with them and tells them that someone told her the other kids are mad at them and hate them.
Who would tell children that?!? Her actions have NEVER shown that she wants all the kids together.
She wouldn't have enough room on the walls for her ugly,sh*t paintings if she did that.
Instead of her expensive prints she should have a print of one of the SW full family photos on the wall so she could point to each kid, this is Maddie, this is Hunter, this is Paedon, this is Garrison.
And thats why she doesnt want her kids talking to the other kids! The truth would come out.

@@susanh103,she says that her younger kids don't know their siblings but it's funny how Maddie's children know who their uncles are despite not living close to them and that Evie and Avalon recognize one another. Robyn expects people to believe that if she held up a picture and said to her 12 year old son and 7 year old daughter,"This is your brother,Hunter." or "This is your sister,Madison." they wouldn't know who they are?" She's full of crap and this is her attempt to blame them for being crappy siblings when if they haven't gotten to spend time with them because she prevented it she's a crappy parent!
She has the three adult children in her house that could have handled it for the little kids. She wanted to control and manipulate everyone.
She could've suggested that when names were drawn her kids got each other,she could've asked if a divided group call would've been okay,and she could've just shut up and let things go. Logan is almost 30 now,Madison and Mykelti both have chidlren. Does she think that these kids/adults would do or say anything inappropriate with her children? Robyn wanted to get her way and when she couldn't she decided to blow the whole thing up by creating unnessicary drama. That's who Robyn is. A drama queen who is hard up for attention.
I think Robin and Kody counted on Christine being shunned by the family when she left, as is the usual custom for polygamists apparently. When Janelle and the kids still embraced her, they were very angry and began constantly bashing Christine to everyone. The end result was they have alienated everyone!
100%! When Christine announced to the wives she was leaving him and moving to Utah, he asked her who will be your support system? You won't be welcome in the polygamist communities. He could not see that she WOULD be welcomed by her children, mom and dad, and her own siblings. He's so small minded, he thought she would be alone and miserable without the plyg community and it's just the opposite and he hates it so much.
Yeah,but seeing as Christine raised these kids and never abandoned them she wasn't going to be shunned. I had the biggest grin on my face when Gabe said they'd go wherever Christine went and do whatever she wanted. Also when he revealed to Kody that he would go to Christine's and have coffee with her? I just about melted when I heard that. It just shows that loyalty is given to those who were loyal to begin with and these kids never saw Robyn as being loyal to them.

Yes! She is using the minor children as an excuse. She has adult children who could have looked out for the minor children.
Also Robin and Kody are not taking into consideration that they aren't the only ones with young children. The real tender aged children now are Maddie and Mckeltie's .
The thing is none of Robyn's kids have jobs so where would the money for the gift exchange be coming from? Kody and Robyn. She had a reason. She used the lack of a phone call and this flying off the rails,batcrap insane text of hers to make sure she could reinforce the idea that the kids hated her kids. That's despite none of them ever saying that. She used the,"I want my minor kids to see their siblings." as the excuse but the lack of funds could also be an argument against them being invvolved in the first place.

@@dawnclark4635 I get that, but I am sure her adult kids told her about the chat (and added her to it), so she could have said to them what the fund limits are. I do that with my minor child when making plans with the other half of her family. I allow my child to communicate with me and if something is more complex I ask that and adult (parent, aunt, whatever) contact me to finalize the plans.
She could have used Mykelti for that or sent basic Info to her so she could be a proxy. Robyn cares about herself and IMO uses her kids for her benefit and to control things.
Everything that Robyn called a cheap version for Christmas was how her and Kodys Christmas was. Big house, lots of presents ect..

It seems to me that Christine and Janelle's celebration was peaceful,quiet and drama free. Also Robyn claims she would've gone if she was invited. Really? She wouldn't let Meri invite Janelle's boys over but she would've gone to the air B&B they rented? Robyn's full of crap. It wasnt her idea,there was on drama centered on her and Kody and that's why she doesn't consider it the "proper verison" of the Christmas celebration she thought they should have.
There is one comment that has repeatedly come to mind. It was one of Robin’s kids. Who said the Browns were going to have Christmas without them. It is disgusting to hear especially when we know. That the complete opposite happened. As they sat there. Christmas morning enjoying the dirt bikes, showered with attention. From both parents. Astonishing to me the amount of mental gymnastics. that are done. To make robins family the victims.
Yes. I believe Robyn and/or Kody tells them that, that way bc Robyn knew Kody didn’t make amends with his boys and Robyn doesn’t want them over for fear of a “fight”(her reasoning) so therefore they won’t be coming for Christmas. But doesn’t tell her kids it’s bc Kody hasn’t done his job. Kody saying it’s up to the boys, it’s their job ergo, Kody saying Robyn and he are not on the same page. Semantics just to evade the truth and to insinuate certain perspectives without actually saying anything and no one can blame them. More manipulation. Only they are not really good at it.
They don't view themselves as being part of the family and the funny thing is the OG3 kids have never said that. Yes,there were growing pains when they joined the family. Any family would have that! You have five different parenting styles and I think Robyn expected Janelle and Christine to match her style with the kids and fall in line to do what she wanted. If you look at the way Janelle,Christine and Robyn parent it's very,very different. There was a scene where Janelle was letting the kids climb either a hill or something and she was fine with it. Robyn was freaking out! Janelle and Christine have raised confident,capable,smart children and I'm not saying that Robyn's kids aren't smart but they are not confient or capable in the sense that you look at Logan,and his wife,who are successful. You look at Hunter who became a nurse. You look at Madison who is raising three kids and yes,MLMs are trash but seems to be doing well. Robyn has disabled any sense of capability her kids may have. Sol and Ari are almost infantilized. Sol is only a bit younger than Truely and Truely is lightyears ahead of him in maturity. and speaking her mind. I honestly think the one thing you can give Robyn credit for is the fact that she saw what happened as the other kids grew up. She saw how Kody lost interest in them and she decided to keep her kids as young,clingy and needy as possible. Dayton is 23 years old and doesn't seem to have a job. Aurora and Breanna are so far up Kody's butthole they can probably tell everyone what he had for breakfast. She has kept her kids clingy and needy in order to ensure that Kody never loses interest in her and them. She kept them away from Christine and Janelle so that they couldn't influence her chilren to be more like their adoptive siblings and that's despite those siblings reaching out. She had to make it seem like they were hated in order to keep them from becoming capable and independant because she saw that Kody hates when his kids become capable and independant.

I've noticed that as all of the other children have grown up, they have turned there back on polygamy, so Roybn and Kody don't want to take chance other kids will explain the disadvantages of polygamy.
@@martyf3531 look at Sol. He'snot much younger then Truely and Truely is mature,articulate and smart. I'm not saying they aren't smart but Sol is 12 and he talks like he's 5. Ari is 7 and had a frickin' paci. I helped raise my nephews and the oldest lost his paci at 2. He got sick with the flu and after yacking on it he wanted he no part of it. Robyn keeps those kids young in order to ensure she can control them and prevent them from realizing that Robyn and Kody are really fricked up.
Snobyn is EXTREMELY MANIPULATIVE. She PLANNED this before the Browns even knew who she was! She’s manipulated herself to legal wife- she always wanted the leverage of segregation from the OG.

Let's not forget that Meri wanted to have everyone for Christmas Eve at her home. Robyn said she didn't feel safe with the older kids. However, she felt left out when Christine and Janelle didn't invite her and the kids to the rental house to celebrate. She makes absolutely no sense!

Robyn didn’t want her children to have any kind of relationship with any of the other Brown children unless they were under her influence. That’s why she quickly put the stop to having a gift exchange with her children involved and her not being there. And she also lied about her bringing her children to Janelle’s Airbnb because that doesn’t equate with her claiming that dealing with many of her stepchildren as well as Christine or Janelle as being unsafe. She’d be better off admitting that she didn’t want her children around the others because she was afraid of outside influences aka common sense and decency.
Janelle and Christine raise smart,capable and confident people. Robyn is raising co-dependant,whiney,needy victims. She doesn't want them around their siblings beause if they hear the truth and accept it she loses control over them. She uses her kids to keep Kody's attention on her. It explains why Sol is only a bit younger than Truely and seems years younger and closer to Ari's age. It explains why at age 7 Ari still has a frickin' paci. If Robyn infantilizes her children she can keep Kody near and not run the risk of them ruining his relationship with her when they start to spout off opinions like the OG3 kids have.
I love that you pointed out how often Robyn says "in my mind" when talking about situations and people. She is revealing how "in her mind" that reality is what she thinks it is - not what it really is. She lies, believes her lies, then forgets her lies, and lies all over again. She is not mentally healthy.

A lot of the grown children live on the East coast and have small children of their own and need to schedule a time for the Zoom meeting. They weren't opposed to it, they just needed to schedule. They don't have a nanny to take care of their children. So sick of sobyns bs. She is beyond a narcissistic and manipulative.

The kids probably try to stay as far away from her as possible. She can screws up and trashes everything she touches. She makes everything about her and she thrives on drama.
The funny thing is she has almost made it clear that she doesn't like the older kids. She has a semi-decent relationship with Mykelti because she used her as child labor. Mykelti was taking care of Dayton,Aurora and Breanna,cleaning the house,and doing homeschooling while she lived to Robyn. Mykelti may have seen Kody more but she was being very lazily parented. She tried to forge a bond with Madison and that didn't work. She almost seemed from the jump to hate Hunter and he was not thrilled when she announced her pregnancy with Sol. Paedon has stated that Hunter had no respect for Robyn and while I think kids should respect their elders I also think you have to give them a reason to respect you and Robyn never did. Leon appears to be done with everyone but Meri and Kody and Robyn have pretty much alienated the rest of them. Logan may be associated out of respect but in a recent podcast interview Madison stated that her children do not have a relationship with Kody and Robyn at all. I can't blame them. You don't need fair weather parents.

Robyn’s talk and actions don’t match. If she wanted her younger children to know their siblings she could have set up individual zoom calls. They would make a better connection and Kody could have caught up with the lives of each one. Janelle’s granddaughter recognized Christine’s granddaughter on the gender reveal zoom call. An effort had been made to cause that.

If she wanted her kids to have a better relationship with their siblings it might also be helpful for her to have a better relationship with them and stop doing everything to convince her children that their siblings hate them. None of the OG3 kids have ever said,"We hate Dayton." or "We don't like Breanna." or "Aurora's a bish and we hate her." Not one of them and the two girls appear to treat Savannah like crap! The fact remains that Robyn's relationship with these people is crap because Robyn has done nothing to foster a good relationship with any of them and it's had a trickle down effect. If Robyn wants to know who she can blame for her kids thinking the entire family hates them she should start by looking in a mirror.
I’m not so sure anyone actually said they hate Robyn and her kids. Robyn is the type of person who can interpret a mere difference of opinion as “this means they hate me” plus then adds her kiddos into the mix.
Oh,I'm under the impression the older kids hate Robyn but that's the key. They hate her. They have never said they hate her kids! I mean if I was Savannah I'd hate those two little brainwashed b*tches my dad basically replaced me and my other sister with but no,they don't hate the kids. I think Janelle and Christine raised kids smart enough to see that the fault in all of this lies with Robyn and Kody.

Could it have been Kody? Kody admitted to picking fights with Robyn and trying to sabotage the marriage. If he did, he was partly right. I think they mostly despise Robyn, but they are OK with her kids.
@@ladyv5655 , definitely could be Kody, yes. While I believe C & J have negative opinions of R, that doesn’t mean they hate her; that they hate things she’s done probably, but hate her herself, not necessarily. I don’t blame them for not wanting to be friends with her, if that’s their choice.

Janelle and Christine did not know about Robyn and by the tie they found out Kody was so far gone he didn't care less if she came in with her miserable hell spawn and debt coming out of every orafice of her body. I honestly think Christine caved monumentally to bring Robyn in. Kody was ga-ga over Robyn and he knew he needed something to keep the show interested. Robyn has told sooooo many lies to her kids about the other kids that Robyn has lied herself into a corner. Now she (in her mind) must keep them separate so her own children do not discover how evil their mother is.
The real evil of Robyn is that she never acted like a Sister Wife. She was literally the mistress involved in an illicit affair with their father and came into the family pretending to be joining the family when she already knew that Kody didn’t love his other wives and that she was his favorite. That is the root of all her other devious actions. Also the lie about not wanting to buy a house in flagstaff. That was to conceal the fact that they tricked the other wives into selling their homes and not buying because they were “ going to build “ this leaving their equity proceeds in the LLC account that TLC paid the family. Thus stealing from them everything and then to top it off, she used her new home to completely isolate her family from the rest of their family. Robyn is nothing to the kids so she will get more blamed then their father. And that’s just too damned bad. And there is nothing Kody can do to help Robyn unless he TRULY apologized and admitted his evil doing. Other then that there isn’t a damned thing Kody can do to repair Robyn’s image. And the children STILL might never like Robyn because they don’t have to.
How do you explain all this talk about Janelle's boys and the mistreatment of Robyn. Either A.) She told him or B.) He heard it himself. I'm going with the former because I don't believe Kody gives enough of a crap about his kids to listen to anything they have to say. She probably went to him crying,"Oh,Kody listen to this." and either played a message or told him what was said.
She was probably shocked that they continued on with Christmas and weren’t sitting around wondering what Robyn and Kody were doing and how lonely they were without them no they were having snow ball fights laughing eating and talking while Robyn’s kids were on their phones and disengaging from them
I think this idea that Kody and Robyn keep pushing that Christine is bad,that Janelle is the "teflon queen" is just their way of attempting to alienate the kids from them but the problem is Christine and Janelle did a good job raising the kids and they saw through the b.s.. The kids aren't deaf,dumb and blind and Kody seems to forget that. THey saw him treating their moms badly and that's what Janelle said when she brought up Garrison asking Robyn for their dad back. He saw Kody treating her badly and called him out on it. Gabe took it a step further and called him out on not only the treatment of Janelle but on the time Gabe spent with Christine. Kody should've known then that he burnt that bridge and focused on rebuilding it but he was too busy focused on how his kids "wronged" him and not enough on trying to fix things with them.

They aren't getting a thin dime from Meri,Janelle or Christine and it's probably bugging them. I'm thinking that's why Robyn got taken off of Coyote Pass when Janelle paid it off. Granted,it doesn't matter because AZ is a community property state and if Robyn leaves she gets a support for Ari and Sol,plus alimony,the McMansion and any land Kody has his name on but Robyn has not worked since the day she joined the family and has been spending up their money on God knows what. If things keep going like this Robyn is going to have to start convincing Kody to court some other women,bring them in and pimp him out or she's going to have to expand her customer base.

I think it bugged Robyn that the gift exchange tradition was so special for the older kids and she couldn’t stand that her smallest kids might not be old enough to appreciate it the same way so she ruined it for everyone.
She never really wanted them around Christine or Janelle either. Remember Christine offered to help her with the kids and Robyn had a nanny instead. I remember that Christine was genuinely offended by that. She wanted to have involvement in their lives and couldn't because Robyn wouldn't let her. I'm convinced Robyn told the kids that Christine hates them in order to keep them tied to her apron strings forever.
I've seen so many stepmom do this very thing divide families just like this while the stupid father let it happen
Maybe have their siblings' photos on the walls instead of ugly art. And in terms of a zoom call, I'm sure many of them work and have their own families, so it may not work for all of them. And as a parent myself with two older kids, when they moved out, started their own families, it made it a little harder to always get together. They have their spouses families to consider too. Unrealistic to keep everything the same.
Maybe Robyn having a good relationship with these young people would've helped to foster good relationships with their siblings? Perhaps not telling them that their siblings hate them and want nothing to do with them would've been helpful as well. Some day Robyn is going to have to answer for this and I'm sorry but fake crying and crocdile tears will not save her then. She fricked up this entire family and destroyed any potential relationship she could've had with the kids because they didn't kiss her ass enough. She deliberately targeted them and now she's playing victim over alienation? BULL! She made those relationships bad because she wanted them to be bad and now she's going to complain because tehy are bad?

Dayton,Aurora and Breanna had a good relationship with Meri and why? Because Meri kissed Robyn and Kody's asses. Meri gushed about what a good mom Robyn is and how she wanted Robyn to love her child and help raise that child. Robyn showed an interest in Leon in the beginning. Hell,when Leon was using their dead name and announced that they were gay Leon stated that Robyn having gay friends made them feel secure in telling Robyn. Robyn tried with some of the other kids. She tried with Madison but that bore no fruit. She tried with Mykelti and ultimately used her for child labor. Robyn's relationships with Janelle's children is trash because the kids didn't kiss her behind enough. They voiced opinions and Robyn didn't like that. She expects those kids to behave the way her kids do and for Christine and Janelle to parent the way she did. Joke's on her because by the time she got there Logan,Aspyn,Leon,Madison,and Hunter saw through her. They didn't associate with her the way she wanted so she started targeting them. She was fine when they were just ignoring her but look at her treatment of Hunter. She flippin hates him! He wasn't excited when she announced she was pregnant with Sol,he ws difficult when they moved to Vegas and over time Gabe,Gassion,and the rest saw how Kody treated them as a result of Robyn's vendetta against Janelle and Christine. She wanted them to hate them but it wasn't going to happen.
There are apps and messengers for kids that parents can control to limit who they can call and “FaceTime” that she could set up for her younger kids.
She’s not concerned about a relationship with the kids, she’s trying to prove she’s a victim and how everyone is and has always been against her.
Her little kids also come across as a bit wild, so I doubt they will be interested in a zoom call for long. Also why do they have to do a zoom at 9pm Arizona time… it’s not like Robyn has a job or the kids are in school until then. She wanted to set an unreasonable time so they would decline and she comes out as a victim and her attempts were shut down.

Right. The thing is Robyn strikes me as almost hating the older kids. When she joined the family and started trying to attempt to parent them a lot of the older kids were old enough to make choices for themselves and voice opinions. Look at the situation with the church group in Vegas. The adults sit down to discuss whether or not the kids can go for ice cream and Robyn bursts into tears about it. I remember sitting there going,"Bish,please! It's ice cream. It's not a (boinking) orgy." Or the time when,during the same argument,Madison said,"Well,I hate our church." and Robyn told her she could "choose her faith when her frontal lobe is fully developed." Madison lost it on her. She's always had issues with Hunter. Paedon told a story that one time Robyn told Hunter to do something and he turned around and said,"You're not my mother." Paedon pointed out he would never have said that his own mother,Obviously.,and he wouldn't have said it to Christine. Pretty sure he wouldn't have said that to Meri either but Robyn had no stock or good will built up with these kids and she's gonna come in and start dishing out orders? Ridiculous! She keeps her own kids clingy and needy because she wants Kody to stay put but when it comes to the older kids,The ones that don't like her.,she's realized that she needs to manipulate the situation and play the dang vicitm in order to keep Kody defending her.
Had the kids done the gift exchange as organized, it may have turned out to be a positive experience, undermining Robyn’s narrative. She had to blow it up. Sol &Ari could have received a note saying: You have [name], age [ ], likes [interests] and see a picture with Robyn’s help. Everyone else, including Truely, knows everyone. Ummm, James, Robyn’s kids ARE in Robyn jail. They are not allowed to maintain relationships without her presence, oversight, narrative, and manipulation.
If I were the older kids I would've done it without Robyn's kids after that mess.
My guess one of the young kids years ago after being told they couldn't see their Dad told her she was disliked, Robin has disliked most older kids since they were forced to accept her and her kids
Judging from a story Paedon told it was a bigger issue with how Robyn treated them. She came in expecting to be on equal footing with the other parents and that's after these kids growing up their entire lives with the moms and the dad they have. The kids were taught to express themselves and were told they could have an opinion. Certain situations show that. Remember the situation in Vegas where hte Christian church group invited the Brown kids for ice cream and Robyn didn't want them to go because they were Christian kids? She cried! When Madison confronted her she told the girl,"Choose your faith when your frontal lobe is developed.",she was pissed at Hunter for not being happy that she was pregnant with Sol,This is after he was uprooted and depressed over leaving his friends behin in Utah,she got snippy and attempted to kick Madison out of Janelle's house when Madison asked,"What happens if we don't sign the the mission statement?" at the commitment ceremony. Paedon once told a story that Robyn demanded Hunter do something and Hunter said,"You're not my mom." Paedon said Hunter wouldn't talk to his mom that way and he wouldn't talk to Paedon's mom,Christine,like that either. There's a reason for that! Hunter had respect for Christine and Janelle. They earned his respect. What exactly did Robyn do to earn these kids respect? Take their dad from them? Get more resources deveoted to her then they got? Yes,one of the kids may have told her that but in truth I think Robyn built this up in her own little derrange head in order to build herself up as a victim in Kody's eyes.

Robyn had contended she would lead the family from the beginning and it just never flew. She expected the OG3,particularly Christine and Janelle,to model their parenting style after hers and she seems to have forgotten that Janelle was raising teenagers and her youngest kid was around 5 or 6 years old but was very independant. 100% agree I'm one of six adult children and it's hard for us all to get together at the same time it would be crazy to expect that with 18 children. Two of the adult kids are married with children,Logan is married,Leon is married,and most of them have jobs. I know it's a forgien concept to Robyn that people might not have the luxary to cater to her but when you're a grown adult and you have to deal with cooking meals,putting babies down for naps,toddlers,and a boss who won't let you drop everything so you can talk to your b*tch stepmother things will not always pan out. Let the gift exchange happen and the littlest have a call with the person they are exchanging a gift with. It's so simple. 2 zoom calls or 1 group zoom call between 4 people would be so much simpler than a zoom call with 20 people.
One of the kids is in kindergarten, and a couple have kids of their own, two or three are newly married, several have important jobs, one works nights, a few are in college, some are dating. How can these all fit into one zoom call?
Sol is 11 at this time. How confused can he be as to someone's identity? He's not little. Truly isn't considered little but next year when Sol is the age she is now, he will be.

Robyn reminds me a lot of my mother - she has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, and ossiclinated between acting like a spoiled princess and abused waif. No matter where she was mood wise, she always had to be the center 😮of attention and to feel in control of everything and everyone around her (and their opinions of her). When she lost control of me when I went to uni (and didn't study what she wanted), then lost control of her image when my father divorced her she lost her hold on reality and cue the unbelievable drama - it went hard for a few years. I suspect Robyn is spiraling down a similar vortex, so IMO you're 100% right - Robyn inserting herself into the gift exchange convo was an attempt to regain her sense of control over the kids/family. It failed miserably and will only contribute to more spiraling drama going forward.
I feel bad for all the Brown kids for having to deal with her, and esp for her own kids. I wish the adult kids would figure out how to extract themselves from her and Kodys' house, get help, and build more normal lives for themselves.

Being a stepmom I never disciplined my husband child, that was my husband job, and he never disciplined my children. Sorry my son lives in AZ, three hour time difference. I would not be able to do the zoom meeting when one person wanted. It would have to be when every could make it. You are so right James!! My ex had a teenaged daugther and her parents were divorced for 7 years when I came into the picutre. At first I came into it trying to be a friend but eventually she started taking advantage of that. She would be out past curfew and she would call me instead of her dad to get me to try and smooth it over. I eventually told her that I was very sorry but I was not the buffer and she would need to dicuss her curfew with her father. One night she extremely late,she told me,and I tried to cover for her and her father went off on me about it. I pointed out that this was their situation and he was her father so the discipline fell on him,not me and I was just passing along what had been done. I didn't try to discipline her,I didn't try to get her in trouble but I knew that I couldn't be put in the middle of that. By the time I ended things with him I had a hard time with deciding to end things because I adored her but I was so tired of his verbal,mental and emotional abuse. I actually still occasionally talk to her and she even sent me a condolence card when my mom passed away. Robyn wanted to be in charge. From the beginning. She wanted Christine and Janelle to model themselves after her and adopt her parenting style. It was never going to work.

Gwen told a story that one time Sol asked to see Gwen's sword collection and Gwen was showing it to him when Robyn came into the room. She couldn't even leave her adult stepdaughter with her son so he could see something like that. I'm sure Gwen wouldn't have done anything to hurt him and he was curious. Give the the space to bond and they will.

It started before that. Robyn created photo albums and during an early episode she was quizzing her kids on who everyone was and one of the girls got to a picture of Kody and said,"Kody?" Robyn immediately snarled,"WHO?!" and the kid immediately changed her answer to,"Daddy." I'm fine with a kid calling a stepparent "Dad" or whatever but to me it should be their choice. She erased their bio dad from their lives and now he has cancer. I hope for his sake,his new wife's sake and the sake of all of his children he survives because it's going to f'n suck to explain to them that he died and they have siblings they've never met because she wante to sponge away the writing on their family tree.

Logan and his wife own their own home and adopted a rescue dog,Maidson and Caleb own their own home and are raising three children,Paedon is working,Leon and Audrey appear to financially settled and a majority of his kids will have or have college degrees. I have cousins and siblings living hundreds and even thousands of miles away. My kids can look in our family photo album and tell you who is who. If I reference them in a conversation, they recall that persons face and their relation to them. Geez, Robyn has thousands of hours of professional grade videos of family trips, holidays, dinners and so forth, can she not use that to say, “there’s your brother, and sister”?

I have seven nephews and they can identify each other. If they can't we're not beyond saying,'That's Ace." or "That's Squirt." or "That's J." Maybe if you tell them who it is and give them an example you can help them figure it out.

James, I totally agree with your assessment! I cringe every time when I see Robin on screen because every time she opens her mouth another lie or her “correct” version of event comes out. Cannot stand her as much as cannot stand Kody
Robin wasn't told all the kids hated her and her children by someone (she didn't know who), she just felt they hated her and her children and that was because of everything she did. Ran amok with their dad, husband Kody spending and breaking all the rules. Not a sister wife.
I know who you're talking about and as someone who has finished all my psychology classes for my bachelor's degree, I know I'm not as educated as this doctor. But I cannot fathom HOW he doesn't see narcissistic traits in Robyn, I actually see more clinical diagnostic traits in Robyn than I do in Kody. So I don't understand his assessment. I could easily take every trait of narcissistic personality disorder and match every characteristic to Robyn and give at least 2 examples to back up these claims in each category. I could probably do the same with Kody but I think it would be slightly harder.
Robyn only serves Robyn and she has ZERO care of her children's needs, they're not their own people, they're just extentions of her in her eyes, she'd throw them to the wolves if it'd save her. Robyn truly believes that she is a superior being, entitled to special treatment and that's exactly why she inserts herself into things. Dayton is 24, Aurora is almost 22, Breanna is almost 20, Sol is 12, Ari will be 8 next month. She doesn’t have babies anymore, her older 3 are well into adulthood at this point. She had no reason to "protect" them, they were in a safe environment with their siblings who love them, the OG13 kids are CRYING because they miss them, REAL tears, there was no threat to protect them from. She had no reason to jump in to make sure they were "included" and not "left out" because they WERE included, they were accepted and they weren't left out which is why they were in the text threat to begin with! They had no reason to start throwing out these deep-seated issues that should have been worked out privately or with a therapist, not in a text threat about Christmas but these issues were thrown out there because ROBYN stepped in and tried to control the situation like she always does, the kids pushed back. This caused Robyn a narcissistic injury and she went into a Histrionic fit where she started attacking the OG kids and encouraging her kids to attack the OG kids as well because she thrives on drama and making everything about herself. When she wasn't allowed to take total control over something that had nothing to do with her, she went to plan B which was to start drama, ruin the plans and hurt others and that's exactly what she did. I suspect that this is what she always does and I bet that this is what has caused most of the rifts and drama in the family.
There is a reason why people are reminded of Amber Heard when they see Robyn's actions and hear her speak. Even if they haven't studied psychology, intuition allows them to see the similarities. 🤷♀️
PS: James, you are not wrong and this is a very good assessment especially for someone who isn't a student of psychology. Narcissistic people actually don't really have their own personality so they take on personalities or traits of people they admire or think are "cool." While they appear confident they're actually extremely insecure and they don't even know who they are as people, they're unable to self reflect. Their emotions are very shallow, they're often numb and of course they lack empathy. I think because Ko-Ro are both narcissists who take on the personalities of others, they feed off each other with this and almost mirror each other. Kody appeared to be a better person with the OG3 because he was taking on their personality traits, now he's taken on Rob's and this was the real "change" they talk about with Kody.
I needed to hear this. That RUclipsr drives me crazy... He makes me question my own thoughts bc of his degree but I just fundamentally disagree with so many of his takes.
@@hes3it's not just you, I'm not sure if doc is just trying to be careful and not rock the boat or what but I can't fathom him not seeing these traits in her. As I said I saw those traits in Robyn before I did in Kody and sometimes Kody does have mild self reflection, he can mildly admit faults occasionally, he does seem to have real emotions sometimes or appears to show some guilt, Robyn physically and mentally cannot do this and she always seems numb and emotionless, like Eeyore. It makes me wonder if Kody is just an immature, a**hole with severe personality flaws and with his people pleasing way he mimics Rob's "personality" or if he is actually a narcissist but I'm quite sure Robs is. Even if you take things not related to behavior out of it, narcissists have trouble with keeping jobs, trouble with keeping friends and relationships, they'll often have addictive tendencies like having a shopping addiction, they crave drama and excitement all the time because they always feel "bored" the drama gives them something to do, all that matches Robs way more than Kody. The main characteristic of narcissism is numbness, it's not anger, it's emotionlessness, they mimic emotions, that's why Robs brings everything down and is so negative all the time, she's numb and thus, can never be happy, she just uses people as tools to try to get her happiness but she can't truly ever feel it. It's actually quite sad, especially for her children that she isolates and brainwashes. She literally makes her kids think everyone hates them because she can't share their love, she can't allow them to have relationships that don't include her, she wants total control, they're posessions to her. She's already setting them up to be helpless victims who "can't have their own families" since the OG kids "ruined their lives" because she wants to keep them babies who depend on her for the rest of their lives. She doesn't care that she's wrecked her own children emotionally, as long as she gets to keep them under her control, she is the sun, everyone else are just planets that have to rotate around her.
There's another RUclips psychologist named Heather who does recaps and she says Robs is a narcissist too, I love her take.

Christine and Janelle had homes with open door policies, with the freedom to come and as needed and wanted. Robyn had a home where you had to knock and ask for permission to eat something. As for relationships with the younger children is unreasonable what teens and twenty something want to hang out with toddlers when they are starting their own lives. Kotex bought the big house for family functions but it didn’t have the mother who wanted everyone stopping by on a whim.

Robyn is just a manipulator. Period. I find it sad and fascinating that she would bring her kids into a situation that you know you’ll mess up on purpose. I’m assuming it’s on purpose because if it wasn’t, that’s more concerning than it already is.
She had a list of things she wanted to do and she knew being in the Brown family would give her what she wanted. She wanted to rich,famous and to do things she would never get to do living in a trailer and with the husband she had. She also tried to make everyone feel sorry for her and then proud that she triumphed over the evil man she claimed was an abusive,deadbeat who s.a.'ed her and "took her purity".

I still think it was Mykelti, but I think it was while she was a child and being Robyn’s Nanny. I also don’t think she said it as Robyn has relayed it.
Think about sitting with kids… you can ask questions in a way they will agree with you or tell you things they think you want to hear.

Ive got an exSIL who would call once a year begging to have two of my kids for Christmas. Shed cry about how she didn't even know my kids, and the cousins werent close. Id tell her, every time: "you can call any time. Theyve each had their own phones, email addresses, etc since they were 5yo. You can come visit any time. They can fly out to see you. Your kids can come here. But you want my kids on CHRISTMAS???" Cmon. Bfr.
If Robyn ACTUALLY cared about the sibling relationship, shed allow them to have a relationship without her, shed call them regularly, shed take the kids to visit fhe siblings.

It surprises me that Robyn doesn’t even try to help her younger kids at least put a name to a face using pictures or something. Growing up, my mom made sure my brother and I knew who everyone in our family was to us, especially when we’d go to funerals. I know who is who because my parents made sure I did as a kid.
Yessss!!! I have family members who do that and it would literally fix the issue. They don't need to see everyone in a big group to know their sibs. Start small. Pictures of them, maybe a call with one of the ones she has contact with. Nobody else needs to stop their entire life over this

Even if Robyn had good intentions with her request, how she was treated was a result of her being a sketchy person. If someone is usually not a good person, any attempt to be better will not always be taken that way they intended.
