The statement "Kody starts stupid fights with me" struck me odd during the Tell All. There have been accusations that Robyn suffers from a shopping addiction, and with the loss of the OG3 & Kody's financial support systems he may be finding himself in a position where he can no longer afford Robyn and his lifestyle. It makes sense that to Robyn, financial concerns and worrying over bills would be a stupid reason to argue because she has not been called on at any time during the marriage to contribute financially. It is very possible that the reality of trying to manage Robyn may prove too much for Kody.

Kody shares things like helping Robyn pick the dress, what he thought of Christine eating nachos, all the time and pain he put into loving Christine, and I really cannot believe he melted down Meri's ring or that he told her, Kody takes pleasure in the pain he causes from sharing how little he cares for these women that have invested their life into his family.

It's so obvious that Kody feels entitled to take half of the proceeds of the sale of the Vegas homes to buy HIMSELF that big house. That's why he felt entitled to take half of Christine house but settled on hers share of C.P. THE More I listen to MTonR , the more I understand how devious Kody is. Kody thought everything was his - the houses, stuff, and all the TLC money. He gave the OG3 the bare minimum and they worked to get by. When Christine left, his check from TLC decreased, again when Janelle and Meri left. And the minute Christine left they began to see the end of the show coming. It isn’t the FAMILY they’re mourning the loss of, it’s the easy money.

Kody sounds just like my teenage daughter going through the first breakout. So dramatic and so strange. He had 3 women that tried to get him to grow up but they expected him to act like an adult and he didn’t understand the assignment. Now for Robyn her lying and her fake tears is proving that she can control the teenage kody. Now with Robyn’s shopping addiction this is a stressful situation. Robyn was never made responsible for all of her debt. The money is not flowing like water and the reality is this without the water you can’t survive. With the og3 gone he is stressing out and has no where to turn because everyone is gone. Robyn will not like it and handle it at all because he chose someone who does not plan for the future or willing to work alongside him to get out of the money hole. ( bottomless pit). They need to really loose everything and see how to start from scratch. Robyn will never help him start over

Kody gets bored fast and has no problem throwing people away. When he had to share his time with 4 women he was excited to get back to the love of his life- Robin. Now- he gets to share 7 days a week with her and he’s bored. There’s no where to go, The newness and excitement has worn off. That’s why they have moved 18x, because Kody got bored. I bet if we could look at his work history I bet he quit his jobs constantly.
I think someone who knows the family said he actually does have a hard time keeping a job. That’s why he kept chase after Janelle bey she had a career that she was making decent money. So Kody could afford to be lazy.

Kody is the king of humble bragging among other things. I always come back to how unsettling it would be to have him as the head of my family and have to depend on his bumbling attempt at leading and navigating life. He is such an airhead. The early seasons showed how his squirrel-trying-to-cross-road decision making worked out; usually with Meri or Christine having to take over and get it done fr. He works full time at just trying to prop his reputation up. So pathetic. He can be ripped like a Greek god (he ain't) but he'll always *always* be WEAK.

Cody and Robyn are creating a story line for themselves for the show. They’re spewing word salad. Nothing they say makes sense and I think they are lying saying Cody is self sabotaging, I do not believe they are arguing at all unless it’s about the loss of the other wives money and it’s affected their rich lifestyles. Robyn is only mourning the loss of the other wives monies and their reputation going further downhill.
When Kody says take a lover, who is he referring to? What women in her right mind would get involved with the tangled mess of Kody?
Another chanel reported that K&R were spotted yesterday in a mall shopping and they looked just fine. I think they are trying to come up with some BS storyline to create interest where there is none. He wouldn't be sabotaging Robyn if he puts his hands together and says "me and Robyn are gonna be like this" and if he is threatening to punch people in the mouth if they speak badly about Robyn. He has said repeatedly this season that he has a great marriage with Robyn. They are just fake, phony money hungry losers.
I think that he also sabotages himself by being lazy - so its not just what he does - but what he doesn't do - he doesn't make efforts in relationships. When he does make an effort - it is a grand gesture that he expect effusive praise for. Like when he buys kids over the top presents. He's kinda like a weekend dad that doesn't want to be involved in the daily grind - just the weekend sports event etc. He just wants the glory. Another example is when he took Janelle out for her birthday to a fancy restaurant. He thought that would end with him going back to her place for intimacy and she was not down - so he was very disappointed. He would have had more chance with her if he actually expressed emotion for her and loved her and missed her and wanted to move forward with her - but he didn't.
People like Kody only give when it gets them something in return. So even if he was good to Janelle, it wouldn't have lasted long term. There would be a grand gesture and even bigger promises, but empty promises. Look at all the years he strung Meri along.
What those two don't realize is the fan base doesn't give a Shit whatsoever is going on with them. They have lied, used and abused the OG3 and their kids. We are sick of both of them. They created that bomb that went off in their family. They have caused all the drama.
I think you said this a few videos back that Robin isn’t a builder, like the OG3, she didn’t struggle alongside them. But now that they’re gone, Cody’s left to deal with everything alone. And like with OG3, he’s too much of a coward to be real with Robin. So, instead, he picks fights and attempts to sabotage the relationship. With Robin is most likely about money, because that means something to her.
He did the same thing with Christine by removing the one thing that meant the most to her, their intimate life. With Mary, it was time together. And with Janelle, a connection and attention to her children. It’s the same show just a different channel.
The reality hit hard. Now he alone has to figure it out. He can't do it after so many wives catered to him.

Robyn is a CONSUMER, not a builder, not one to make sacrifices!! Kody LOVED the lifestyle he was provided. Robyn won’t last long, then she’ll write a book.

The issue is they have blown the money and I don’t think they have much but debt. Sure she has a big house, but it’s outdated and looks to be in needs of repairs. You can see broken railing when they show the outside on the show.
Recently a permit was pulled for that property to upgrade the electrical and stuff… so who knows what’s going on. Someone in the comments of some post said they don’t live in flagstaff and have moved to a cheaper area, but 🤷🏼♀️

Not bragging by saying my husband has worked hard and finally making around 92k a year but we both have medical issues that are draining he gets discouraged like we make money we try to save but can’t afford to just go do what we want that’s the reality of life we are late 50s and pay for insurance and everything else so when people think a million dollars woohoo no I try to make them understand that it would only cover 10 years if nothing major happens so I try to make sure my kids understand that and I’m proud to say they do! lol thanks for always bringing up my day!!!!

It's crazy. As soon as the TV money started coming in, it should have gone toward health insurance and getting regular maintenance for their cars. As smart as Janelle is supposed to be with money, I still can't fathom how she stood by with the money decisions made by Kody and the family in general. If I'd found myself tied to those anvils and the very real possibility that they'd drag me down with them, I would have left long ago. At a minimum, I would have been a relentless "squeaky wheel" about stuff. Too often in early episodes, you can tell that Janelle isn't happy about something financial, but she just bites her tongue and says nothing. I wouldn't have been able to do it.

@@irisblue2332It seems paying taxes and buying health insurance weren't priorities. They were living like they were still poor. The poor don't pay taxes and they cant buy insurance. So it wasn't on their radar. In their previous lifestyle, their property taxes were probably included in their rent or in escrow accounts held by the bank that had their mortgage. Many people who make rent or mortgage payments don't even realize they pay property taxes. Property taxes often come as a surprise to people when they do seller-financed real estate purchases or pay off a mortgage. And if they don't have an employer who offers health insurance, they dont know they should buy it directly from the same independent insurance agent who sold them their home & auto insurance.
They are so accustomed to somebody else, like a bank or employer, taking care of these things that they don't realize they should do it themselves

Kody tried hard to keep Janelle & Meri for their money. That’s why he couldn’t tell Meri to leave. He always led her on and was abusive towards her which was horrible! With Janelle he tried to use sex as a way to keep her and it didn’t work 😂😂😂. It’s unfortunate we will never know the extent of Kody’s physical abuse towards his 3 wives.

Kody and Robyn did not really take care of the finances. Jenelle was the one who had to look at those expenses and allocate the funds. Now he's in reality, not the fantasy he and Robyn are living in.

I saw a post online today that Kody has applied for a permit on their McMansion to have some upgrades done on it. The McMansion has been assessed to be worth $1.8 million. If it's true it's a very interesting development. Upgrading the McMansion means he's really not invested in paying off what's due on Coyote Pass. He has no money sense, in my opinion. He owes taxes on CP so he decides to spend money upgrading the McMansion? Hmmm whats going on here.
Maybe they are planning on selling it. If he upgrades it maybe they could sell it for more money. They could cash it out and buy another home with a small mortgage.
Or they want to make sure there's no money for Meri or Janelle to claim

I 💯 agree. He's not mourning the loss of the relationships as he cut them off romantically yrs ago. He's mourning the 3 other paychecks from TLC. 5 paychecks down to 2. Janelle paid off Robyn's debt that dhe joined the family with. Janelle is still struggling because of that as she doesn't have a property to sell yet she or another wife used a 401k payment loan to pay off Robyn's debt for them to all get a house in the vegas cul de sac.
Love the example James uses of his kids taking the opportunity to reinvent themselves & lose their old baggage when they enter a new school system. Oh yeah, Kody & Robyn are definitely trying to pull that trick on new viewers!!

Narcissists constantly reinvent themselves to fit the narrative they have in their own heads! I had the unfortunate experience of having a long relationship with a narcissist. It was defintitely that roller coaster that Robyn once said about Kody. I was young and didn't understand for a very long time that I wasn't the problem. I did leave that relationship to regain my own mental health. Kody and Robyn are indeed trying to rehad their images, but any of us who have watched the show or who have ourselves had a relationship with a narcissist know that their behavior can change on a whim depending upon who they want to impress. They are not "real" in the sense that they are chameleons who themselves don't know their own identity and are constantly shifting.
Robyn has a distinct "tell" when she is lying, she blinks more rapidly. Her dabbing fake tears is also a tell for lying. Kody will reach out and touch someone, fiddles with his fingers, and does the almost head shake, as if saying "no". He is very uncomfortable having to answer these questions. He wants to be with Robyn, but he is struggling to not do what makes him feel like he is the more important person, which is to belittle and diminish the person he is with.
I do agree that he is also struggling with the realization that HE is the responsible party for the lifestyle he wants to live. The McMansion has, reportedly, been put into Robyn's name, under " Sullivan", her maiden name. He is definitely moving assets around and buying things to "hide or protect" his money.
The one area Kody should spend his finances, is the purchase of a good dictionary. He misuses words like Sean Aston's character on "Goonies".

I’m glad you emphasized that people are who they are. The OG3 don’t fully understand that, especially Christine. They think it’s only an issue of Kody loving Robin and not them. If Kody is a narcissist, then it’ll eventually impact Kody and Robyn’s relationship.

It’s his choice to do that. His dark thoughts? Please! You don’t want to see a woman’s mind after abuse, abandonment, scorn!
Good points James -- it certainly places it into perspective as to why Kody and Robyn suddenly started allowing Aurora and Breanna to appear more on the show -- they're paid for the number of appearances they make on every episode. They probably need the extra $.

He wants people to focus on his relationship w/ Robyn, his feelings about her, hers about him. If people are believing & talking about how he is self-sabotaging or that he's picking fights with Robyn, then they are spending less time talking about how they have both mistreated the other wives & children. He is creating a story about their relationship because only he & Robyn can speak to it. No one else can come back & prove what they are saying is false or point out their mistakes. He wants to take time on the tell all away from hearing the other wives' points of view that would include criticism of he & R.

It is so nice to see a man’s take on all of this. I had the same thoughts as you did on Kody’s punishment to “himself” about leaving Robyn and dragging some pour soul into this madness. It just shows that his mind doesn’t work like most because he really thought that was self-punishment.
I think he actually cheated on Robyn. Who has a fantasy conversation with an affair partner in their head, let alone TELL anyone about it? I think that scenario happened. At least, that's how I'd take it as a wife.
Yeah. Right on about the financial situation. I think Janelle and Meri were the people were the most on top of the finances. He also relied on the OG 3 to manage his relationships with his children. They have stepped back from managing his relationships too.
