After watching the first installment of the Sister Wives Tell All more than a few things said bothered me. One of the more ridiculous premises presented, was the idea that a wife/mother of your children should be shamed because they find you attractive. Over the years Kody has made some silly statements but this by far is one of his zaniest.

Kody Brown simply dehumanizes the mothers of 13 of his kids as a means to justify his horrendous behavior toward all non-Robyn members of his family. Unless this man changes his abhorrent ways, he will one day die old and alone. And he deserves it. He has thrown everyone who truly loved him overboard for "the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life". And the one who enticed him down that road will leave him as soon as the money is gone.

HI JAMES!! Kody is going to have a rude awakening. No woman wants a man that no other woman wants. Part of Robyn’s attraction to him was that the OG3 wanted him so badly. It made her feel like she had the prize. Now they can’t stand the sight of him and laugh at him. He’s probably looking more and more unattractive to her now. Can you address this topic??
This is EXACTLY what's up. Robyn wanted to be the queen bee, but now there's no kingdom to rule over. Kody's an unstable fool, his wives - the financial worker bees - are through with him, and Robyn is going to head for the exit.
Kody objectifies Robyn all the time! (Diesel Jeans model?) Also, if Janelle loved the way Kody looked, after 20 years of marriage, he should have felt like Superman! And besides that, Kody's a jerk, his hair is funny and weird, and he has a beer belly. Nearly every woman that's ever seen that show finds him repulsive because of his personality, and actions.

Kody says some of the most ridiculous things. He’s just so out of touch with mainstream America that he doesn’t realize how stupid he sounds. It is bizarre to hear a man complaining that his wife wants sex with him. He used to complain that because he was separated from his wives, he couldn’t spend time with his children because he can’t be with the children where he is accustomed to spending time with them. Anyone who has been divorced or knows someone who has been knows that the non-custodial parent doesn’t spend time with the children in the ex spouse’s house and yet Kody insists this is his right even though he didn’t own either Christine or Janelle’s house. It shows how disconnected he is from mainstream America

I've read a lot of books by former polygamists. I highly recommend Shattered Dreams by Irene Spencer. What I've read and gathered from documentaries is that most polygamist sects only have sex for procreation. They are not allowed to have sex during pregnancy or when the wives are nursing. They aren't allowed to have sex when the wives are experiencing their menses. If the wife choose to no longer have children, the sex is over for her. If a polygamist woman is no longer able to have children under any circumstance, the sex is over for her. So, it's quite plausible that Kody was only ever with Janelle or Christine during the times each of them conceived. Of course, I'm sure Robyn didn't abide by these rules.
That is a great recommendation! I found Irene’s story and strength incredible. When Irene says polygamy is all she never knew, I gave that much thought. For all those that criticize the women in polygamy…it is all they know from birth.

Kody's reaction to Suki's questiion about his sex life with Janelle was 100% damage control. He couldn't answer that honestly without hurting his favorite wife. Robyn doesn't want to be confronted with the fact that, yes, Kody and Janelle are attracted to each other and have a healthy bedroom relationship. In previous seasons, it has been strongly implied that Janelle was the "sexy wife." Robyn even says "Kody likes curvy women." But, now that he has prioritized his relationship with Robyn over everything else, he needs to backpedal and pretend like his physical intimacy with Janelle was something he HAD to do rather than something he WANTED to do.
Kody is despicable.
I remember hearing Kody say that he didn't like one of the women's fat bodies, and liked Rob'ems slim body. Or did I confuse that with another drama trauma.
