I get the feeling that Robyn wanted to go dress hunting with Kody because she knew that he wouldn't restrict her budget. Buying a dress with the other wives would mean that she would have to spend modestly so as not to appear selfish because she knew that money was tight in the household.
I think she enjoyed prancing around in front of the other wives thinking they were frumpy and overweight.
Kody is a 50+yr old man who went all in on plagues ridden land with no utilities, with the families $. He daily rented the Mcmansion and sat on the biggest Uhaul rentals for months. No, he couldn't negotiate his way out of paper bag.
Let's also not forget that even though Robyn was a listening ear for Mykelti, she was also exploiting her for unpaid childcare.
The wedding could have been scaled back so that the Brown family could have taken the kids on a family moon. Would have made for an excellent episode and given the entire family a taste of the luxury the show provided that the kids had never experienced while integrating the family. After all... polygamy is about the kids and family right?

I believe that she and Cody are less educated, and, in fact, less intelligent than the other women.
She was dreading going back to homework and childcare, but she ALWAYS had a live-in nanny to help with all of it!!!

I’m glad you brought up the question of Robyn’s motives in developing a close relationship, with Mykelti. I have always wondered if Robyn befriended Mykelti to get even, with Christine.
She would have scored tons of points from the fans if she had said “I’ll take a small family only based wedding and split the rest of the money TLC gave for the wedding towards my new sister wives each getting a long weekend second honeymoon with Kody.”And she take say a 5 day honeymoon for herself instead of 10 days.
It’s interesting that she got the big wedding for a spiritual wedding and a court wedding for the legal wedding but bc Christine had a beautiful loving, legal, large wedding;Robyn now wants a large re-vowing. Green eyed girl. And she didn’t love Kody for Kody. She wanted the comfort and fame. Kody was smitten(I believe more in lust. Robyn made sure he was her best customer) Robyn didn’t want him full time. Just the control.
Christine nailed it on the 2nd episode of season 1 when she told Kody she felt he was trading his current family for Robyn and her kids, I believe that was the truth, but Kody had just signed up with TLC and needed that money to support Robyn, so he just followed a narrative and faked it all, I'm sure there were family meetings where he told the OG 3 to be happy with what they had because it was better than what they receiving before the show, over time he got tired of keeping up the façade, I think the OG 3 thought the novelty with Robyn would wear off but even they had to come to the conclusion it was over, with that said no way he or Robyn will ever come out of this looking good.
I felt that too but Janelle hanging back and Meri not giving up told me that they really weren’t told the whole truth. That’s when I realized Kody and Robyn were slime. I feel he held the show and money over their head for the “family” and expected them to get in line so he could have his cake and eat it too.
Speaking of the money, Robyn had the audacity to put up signs telling the kids not to get into the food and she WAS NOT EVEN PAYING FOR IT!! Their moms were!!
We spent around $2000 on our wedding. 15 people. Biggest spend was my dress and the venue. Both were very budget friendly. I remember setting up and creating decorations with my mom, gradma, and sister. I remember everyone who showed up. I wouldnt have done it any differently.
I bet K&R got around the chaste thing, I bet they did something like "soaking"
The vow renewal rumor has been around for about 18 months.
Janelle said they all work the stockings together, so yeah, she probably blew her part because she knew the others had it covered!
When Kody's father passed away..and the OG Wives were remembering their father inlaw..and remembering Kody's brother that also passed away...Robyn looked upset..like she had No Memories to share. And when they stopped by at Janelle's mom's house...Robyn was off to the side..looking like she didn't want to be there. Robyn was probably still upset at Janelle's mom because she didn't let Aurora be the first to Eat when they visited the farm when Kody's dad was still alive.
Robyn wanted Kody all to herself from day one and played it off like I am giving up so much to come here.
Robyn: “I am an independent woman who was toughened by my experiences that you women haven’t gone through…..now pay all my debt and continue to fund my lifestyle indefinitely while my nanny raises my children and Kody and I are staring into each others eyes.”

Yes! James…they had a year to acclimate those kids and get to know each other. She was already getting part of the week as a 4th wife. Make it make sense. She needed 11 days of booty bc she waited a year? Huh? And she had anxiety about bringing the kids into the family when they got back? Huh? She didn’t want her kids alone with the others bc they might tell stuff she couldn’t intervene. And they might start friendships she couldn’t control.She only asked Kody to call on honeymoon to make her look good. She always had intent. Then act confused.
I’ll say it time and again if Kody really cared about the other ladies he would have offered them each another wedding and a long honeymoon the same as Robyn. TLC would have paid for that content. His choices speak volumes

Christine did say she didn’t trust Robyn … maybe the thing with the kids and secrets is why
Robyn said it would not be proper cause they weren't married. But yet Kody stayed the night at her house b4 they were married. I strongly believe they were sleeping together. They said they stayed chased, and I call BS. Robyn said all that on show and in the book, then in the talk back episode the dress got brought up she said we did nothing wrong. I don't see how some people defend her actions. She plays the victim with everything she's confronted with. I don't believe he just happened to call while she was dress shopping. I think Robyn thinks everyone stupid but her and Kody

She wants very badly to be high class. He went on a rant about that during one of the big house episodes. About how cool this house is and people can't look down on them anymore and think that they're trash
He believed she left an awful man to get a good man(Kody) He vetted her real well, by believing everything she told him. Of course she’s the favorite! All of this was so obvious. Those two were so blatant. They just kept digging that hole deeper and deeper to justify everything. The only time I felt the truth came out is when Kody finally said, paraphrasing; “the only thing Robyn and I are guilty of, is loving each other”. But you two tried so hard to say your relationship wasn’t any stronger or different than the other 3. YES IT WAS! He didn’t even realize what he said. Kind of a Kody trait. Robyn was so full of herself.
The latest rumor is that Robin's daughter is getting married!
She repeats herself when she wants to get attention. Three times before the wedding she said to Aurora I need your help Aurora three times. She did the same behavior during the big house on Christmas episode when she said three times everyone take a seat or something to that effect. She extremely weird to use one of Mary's favorite words
See I am convinced that Cody and Robin had a spiritual wedding and marriage just the 2 of them as soon as they got engaged.
They always say they were chased until they were married, but they call what happened on the show the wedding.
I think the 2 of them kept it from everyone and were totally acting as husband and wife for months before the ‘wedding’
Wedding is a party the marriage is random words. They believe Cody is the priesthood holder, going to be a god with his own planet (where he will rule over his children forever)
You don’t think he had the ego to marry them, quite, and not tell anyone.
I will not watch Sobyn and Kody vow renewal.
