Sarah, I'm like you: As a kid, I hung my Participation Medals on my bedroom wall, because I knew those were the only sports awards I'd ever get 🤣 But in all honesty, I knew even as a kid that those "awards" were bullish*t.
In high school it got COMPLETELY ridiculous: My high school had to de-register from the National Honors Society because at some point, someone's parents decided their kid should get a "valedictorian" title at graduation for getting straight As in regular, NON-ADVANCED classes. So at graduations we had a "weighted GPA Valedictorian" (a.k.a., an Honors student who earned the highest grades in the most advanced classes), and an "unweighted GPA Valedictorian" (a.k.a., a student who earned good grades but only took slower-paced, NON-advanced classes that are easier) 🙄. A few years later, my class's fake valedictorian (ahem, I mean the "unweighted GPA valedictorian") casually bragged about it to me, because I had forgotten she'd received that completely irrelevant title. I couldn't believe she had the gall to brag about, in essence, a Participation Trophy. What a Robyn she was.

Mykelti may be leaving one childcare network and gaining another. Maddie's there and whichever other siblings are camping out with her can play au pair. Then when Janelle or Christine visit, Mykelti and Ten Taco Tony can farm the kids out for Grandma time. No worries there, those two will have no problems getting their needs met.

She doesn’t want secrets out or influence in she cannot control. She got a nanny so she could board herself and Kody up in the bedroom. Aurora even said so. That’s not a concerned loving mom.

The kids would have had someone advocating for them and their mental health. K&R would need to want to change…I don’t see that happening. But overall I imagine a lovely alternative.
