Talk Back has been presented as an opportunity for the Brown family to reveal what was "really" going on behind the scenes as they filmed previous episodes. They are also suppose to be answering some tough questions and social media posts. (we'll see and discuss)

Even Jen doesnt seem to understand what happened when Kody promised Meri a "new beginning" if she would move to Flagstaff.
He wanted her to sell her house in LV and give him the capital gains. Once he got his hands on the money, he was done with her.
Jen doesnt get it and Meri doesnt realize she was Kody's doormat!
This crap about "oh my voice will be heard," is not credible until she takes Kody's ass to court.
The IRS doesnt let you give somebody more than $15,000 without paying gift tax. If nobody paid a gift tax, it's evidence that the money was a loan, and needs to be paid back

@@jblkcns I am disturbed that Janelle says things like "if polygamy were legal, women could get child support." These are not stupid women but they have NO IDEA how things work. It drives me crazy listening to them and Suki never just says "you know, you don't have to be married to get child support from your baby daddy."
You also don't need to be married to get health insurance on your kids. And even if you put a fake name on the kids' birth certificates, you can sue the baby daddy for support and make him submit to a DNA test.
The women's ignorance on these matters is mind-blowing.

I'm gonna say it. I DO NOT think Robyn is in love with Kody. That's why we haven't been let into their house to see them interact. Cuz CLEARLY he is cat whipped by her. We see it now!! Something I don’t get is, Kody said Christine isn’t attractive. How is his kids who look like Christine supposed to feel?
In looking back , Cody did treat Robin differently. He didn’t even have to say anything I saw Cody hug Robin, just because. I saw Kody go to Robin and squeeze her hand for no reason. Those were signs infection that he didn’t give the other wives. Kody didn’t have to say a word. He made a statement by his signs of affection that Robin was special.
Youre totally right! When he hugged her and said “yoire so pretty you dont have to cook” or when he said “he does the dishes causes it turns her on. Meanwhile he wont do shit at christines house to help. Its cliche but actions do speak louder than words!
I have a theory and I mentioned it in a SW fb group:
I don’t think that those two are in love. I think they cliqued in a toxic way, and what we have been witnessing is a dysfunctional co-dependent relationship. That is why Kody can’t stick to the story that he can calm down and just be happy with Robyn . He’s not in love with her. She was the easiest to get along with, so she was an escape from the other wives, but now the OG’s left, he has to deal with ROBYN.

Regarding Kody saying Christine and Janelle came up to him -- They've already explained, many moons ago, that in their cult it's the women that approach because it's considered inappropriate for the men to go around fishing for new wives. So I don't know what Kody thinks he's accomplishing by trying to degrade that but he's just making himself look like more of a jackwagon, to use his antiquated phrasing.

Quick note: Kody said, in therapy, the wives should continue the family, should he die. FF to last night’s episode: Kody is majorly bent because the wives ALL said life is way more fun when Kody isn’t around. He’s all upset because they’d have a relationship when he’s not around. Lmao!
Robyn and Kody aren’t enjoying looking back at their past behavior at all! There’s still no accountability for all the sketchy business.
Kody and Robyn should really volunteer their time at the John 3:16 Men’s Mission or the women’s shelter there in Flag. They REALLY need a dose of real life and get over their crazy materialistic bs.
JK but maybe Meri should have stayed just to irritate Kody. Let him do his duty, and Meri could verbally assault him, call him all the time, invade their space, buy a house close or put another trailer on his property, and make him fight for his paycheck. KODY keeps saying, "We are gonna be TOGETHER!!!". I haven't heard Robyn say it. Not once. She has been deceiving everyone since day one. It's all on tape. If you watch just her, like Janelle does on most every couch talk, you can't miss it. Now she just needs to pounce at the right time to exit and sweep all the money up.
And as much as I can't stand her I am going to cheer when she does too!! 😂
I hate to say it. But Dang .. Robyn is setting herself up nice! I think Kody is in love... HOWEVER, I don't think Robyn is in love with him. I think she's played the part, but I think she wants out. As far back as convincing Meri to divorce. I think Robyn has been plotting. All we know about Robyn is that she cries. It's an act. It's a diversion. A topic. But I have never seen Robyn over the top in love with Kody. She's in love with fame and money. Kody is being set up to be crushed.

@@beatricericotta8976 Another commenter mentioned that it’s a British table-top or lawn bowling game. As an American, it makes sense to me that Kody is quoting The Honeymooners, rather than adopting a British phrase. It’s as if he said “beer and bocce ball” or “beer and cornhole” or whatever else.

I feel asleep listening to the live chat last night. Wanted to comment on the whole Kody having to legally marry Robyn to adopt her kids. There was an episode - don't remember if it was in an early season or if it was around the adoption time. Robyn talked about how if something happened to her, her ex would get the kids. Christine said she would go fight for them. Yet Lying Sobyn claims Christine never wanted a relationship with her or her kids. Now that I think about it - may have been the episode where Meri was getting the colonoscopy because her sister had died from colon cancer. Meri talked about how her sister was a plural wife and her sister's sister wives took in her kids. Meri talked about being comforted that they would take care of each other's kids if one of them died. Robyn then chimed in about her ex and Christine was instantly like, nope, I'd fight him for the kids. Anyone else remember this?
Yes. I saw Christine always trying. Never saw Robyn try. But there was a died before They courted. Christine is Robyn’s ex’s first cousin. Christine knew all about Robyn and Robyn knew it.
For anyone who may want to help there is a Go Fund Me for David Preston Jessop- th bio dad of Dayton (David), Aurora & Breanna- he is battling leukemia- he & his wife have 4 children- he was vilified by Robem & koody on th show- family & friends hav come out recently to defend him- (besides donating sharing th link also helps)- it’s also alleged that R & K deceived /defrauded/coerced him into th adoptions

The things that the viewers really want to know that have not talked about. How did the other wives think about Kody and Meri getting divorced so that he could marry Robin and adopt and get health insurance on her kids. He could have married Jennell or Christine to get health insurance on their kids. As far as I'm concerned is that Kody didn't need to adopt those kids. Robin could have gotten a job and got insurance on her kids herself. Why didn't Christine force Kody to help pay for his daughter's back surgery, and why didn't the other wives force him to go to that surgery and why didn't any of them help care for Isabel or hire a nanny to help Christine to care for her after surgery. There are so many things that they have never discussed other than how bad a sister wive they were to Robin. 1:14:47 1:14:48
parents dont have to be married to buy health insurance on the kids.
Lots of children have health insurance provided by non-custodial parents. It's often included in divorce settlements.
I am bothered by Janelle's belief the unmarried moms cant get child support. That's not true .
How about the fact that TLC acted like they were asking tough questions this go around. The question. Kody why don’t you ever change your hairstyle. As if they deserved a high five for putting it in.
I see Robyn pushing Kody away and starting to stick up for the wives. Why?? She's gonna follow the money. Listen to her. She wants the big family, she wants good vibes with the wives. Why?? If she can make it so production don't want Kody anymore... It will happen.

On my rewatch ( I’m up to season 10) he is constantly telling each of the OG3 that he loves them. He listened when they spoke to. Him, looked them in the eye. This “new” Kody is an angry, selfish, lying bastard.
I found it infuriating. When Robin said she couldn’t think of a single time she hindered the sister wife relationship. How about playing marriage as usual. When his daughter was at the hospital getting a life threatening surgery. Or making it so the kids couldn’t see their dad. Unless they came to your house. The way I see it, Meri was not cheating on Kody when she went online to meet people. Kody had emotionally abandoned Meri as soon as Robyn came into the picture. She was pressured into the divorce and I am sure Kody considered the relationship over. And I think Meri considered herself to be a free woman. If "Sam " had been who he claimed to be, Meri would have been the 1st wife to leave and she wouldn't have looked back. She considered herself a free woman. I also think if Meri was gone that Janelle and Christine would have left when Kody decided they were all moving to Flagstaff.

In all these years Robyn’s never once gone against Kody on camera, but this season she’s “tired of everyone lumping her in with Kody”? I think the ONLY reason we’re seeing Robyn question/pushback against Kody is because this season all 3 other wives are done with him. She was fine backing him up *on camera* all these years; but now that it’s no longer “cool” to follow Kody and the object of the game isn’t “get Kody’s favor” suddenly she agrees with the OG3? All the eye rolling, saying they may not stay together, openly questioning/shutting him down on camera is her trying to align herself with the OG3 by saying “oh I don’t like him either!”. If Christine, Janelle, and Meri were all still working to “earn” Kody’s attention, Robyn wouldn’t be acting sick of him on camera. She wants to do whatever Christine does, and now that Christine rags on him look at what Robyn does.

So heres my take on this... I thought the covenant sobyn and grody were talking about happened in the beginning... but now i realize it happened at their legal marriage. Meri was supposed to be there but they told her no she couldn't go...because they gave that covenant at that time. That realization blew my mind!!!! Also like janelle stated sobyn as legal wife can basically take grody to the cleaners..therefore hes stuck. He has to pander to her or hes seriously screwed.oh what a tangled web this is. Sobyn controls grody on so many levels. Shes got that idiot brainwashed. She js not a therapist but she thinks she is. They are both seriously mentally emotionally unstable. I wouldnt be surprised if they tried to sue tlc for mental anguish and ptsd at some point! Sobyn brought up panick attacks and grody said he was physically sick and his blood pressure was high! Hey James, Happy New Year 🎉 Meri and Janelle gave up their money from the Vegas houses. Both Janelle and Meri need to get paid either by selling the mansion or coyote pass land and splitting up the funds.
The kids and wives are the show and the only way all the OG kids film is with their moms. That's it that's the show. Surviving Sister Wives should be the next play. This show doesn't need a Villain. The whole point was to show how the family functions as a unit. But Kody and Robin can still be absentee villains since they nolonger apart of that unit but still negatively affect it . Mari has a good relationship with a bunch of the kids so it would be great seeing that dynamic more. Even watching to see if Christine and Mari can repair their relationship post deconstruction would be better than watching the hostage videos from Kody and Robin. They should also bring back the 1 couch talking heads. Covid was 3 years ago now.

I'm a Kiwi, I havent heard that term here, but we have a game called skittles, my daughter had a set when she was young, with plastic bowling pins. I thought maybe the saying referred to the game and not the candy in the British phrase. Would that be correct?

They build it already. It is five bedrooms three bathrooms and a half and she just had a big porch put on it a deck and her yard is being made into a playground. Trampoline dug into the ground slides swings everything for the grandkids.

Speaking of the "Wedding Special," Kody and Robyn looked so miserable on the commercial when Robyn said, "We're so happy for them. Aren't we happy for them?" That was so fake and high school/middle schoolish ; and it looked pathetic for an allegedly grown woman to try to convince everyone that she was happy for Christine when it's clear she does not like her. Plus she spoke with such sarcasm and venom in her tone.
