- TLC's Sister Wives has returned for it's 18th season and the hypocrisy, inconsistencies, and out right lights are being exposed.
Robyn has finally lost her mind. I couldn't possibly be the only person who heard the threat to Janelle and Christine in last week's episode. When Robyn looked in the camera and essentially said, "they better keep her name out of their mouths." I simply had 1 question. What are you going to do if they don't?
Robyn and Kody have been running these women into the ground at every opportunity. It's not like Robyn or Kody could threaten to destroy either of these ladies' reputations because they've been attempting to do that for years now, so What else could they possibly do to them? You need them on the show, because without them there is no show/show money. Does she plan on showing up to their house? Inquiring minds would like to know.

I enjoy listening to this guy. He is so on point. Robyn plays the victim in almost every show but then says she is not a victim? And expects viewers to believe her? Uh uh. I don't wish Robyn ill but I do wish she would wise up to her own actions and take accountability. If 3 women are leaving your husband and their fingers are pointing at you as the common denominator in these breakups, then chances are they are right. I love Christine and Janelle, and I am starting to like talking head Meri. I wish them the best.
When Meri corrected what Robyn was saying, it was a 1st for me. I never heard her tell Robyn she was wrong before, and I never saw her understanding that Robyn was 'herding' the way she thought and felt about a situation. (Meri) "Robyn, he's DONE with me." The lunch conversation between Janelle and Christine was a stark contrast to Meri and Robyn. As Janelle was saying she wants a change, Christine kept her opinions to herself. (Even though Janelle and we all know what Christine wants for Janelle!) She just listened and provided support. That's a good friend!

Robyn might be 15 years younger, but all the vitriol she spits out has aged her terribly. She started talking mad crap on Christine and said it made Kody see his whole past as a lie that Christine tarnished saying it was hell all along, from day one. Meri , who has been in it for 30 years, just looks at her and Robin feels Meri not jumping on that lie so she immediately says… I’m just saying what Kody said. (But again, she knows nothing and he doesn’t discuss it with her) Now we all know how Robin plays Kody. She over validates him and adds to his every complaint about the others. So, if he said Christine said she was unhappy for years then Robin is going to start with “Oh, Kody how hard for you. What a terrible thing for Christine to say after all of YOUR sacrifices. She is rewriting your whole past after you have been such a fair and just man”. This is how Robin wins and gets Kody always on her side because she always approaches everything with this fake concern for Kody but the objective is to be top wife while being able to plant seeds in his brain about how mistreated he was by the others. You know.. best customer stuff!

💯 Facts.
Robyn only tries to manipulate and get what she wants , but I have watched her enough to know that she not only manipulates but lies , and wants the people that watch the show to think that she doesn’t know what’s going on, but we know she does and most of it was probably her idea and she manipulated Kody to make it his idea. I have NEVER liked two face people , and Robyn could be the billboard for a two faced person!!!
At Leon’s graduation, Meri had some strange meltdown about sight lines to Leon on the stage. Cody got frustrated (typical) and slightly away from the camera, was whispering to Robyn, complaining about Meri’s behaviour. Did Robyn pull him up and help him support Meri? No, she quietly took him aside and whispered back something to the effect of agreeing with him and confirming his feelings that Meri was ridiculous…basically reinforcing his negative feelings about Meri. The manipulation started early and was relentless.
I talk to my son about this topic often. "You can push Mom and Dad's buttons bc we love you unconditionally. But the world won't. So show ppl respect or you won't have anyone to play with."
She keeps Meri around as a sounding board for the show. I never thought of that! 👏 💡

Robyn is upset about losing any wife for one reason only, money. She loses their money going into the family account so it affects her rich lifestyle of having a nanny and keeping up her huge house.

I’ve never understood why Meri put Robin on such a pedestal. There was a point I thought Mari had feelings for Robin beyond friendship. I believe Robin never cared about her only using her when convenient.

Also, she was hearing Kody say that the other wives weren’t being a “good” sister wife with Robyn, so she genuinely attempted to be a sister wife with Robyn. And Robyn didn’t feel the need to reciprocate because of Meri’s catfish situation (that Robyn totally capitalized on to get Meri to divorce Kody so she could marry him). Kody never noticed or cared that Meri was the only wife trying to have a relationship with Robyn.
Janelle, girl, get your money before the witch divorces Cody and takes half!! Meri, you and Janelle need to see an attorney quick to get what you earned and deserve!!!!
While visiting L.A., a well intentioned parent once told me, don't talk to people in the checkout line and don't look at someone the wrong way in traffic, because you could be on the wrong end of someone pulling a weapon on you. Christine showed restraint when Robyn called her a liar on her porch. Other reality Tv show men and women would have thrown a glass of wine or *worse*! Kody has mistaken Meri's "kindness" for "weakness". Meri is saying all of the "appropriate" things to maintain her esteem and standing until the union slowly dissolves, whereas Christine stated her frustrations and pulled the band-aid off. Robyn views Meri as "salvageable" and "redeemable" and views Christine as "the instigator" and "the source of Kody's ills". Robyn isn't smart enough to reason that Kody could be playing all sides. Kody's emotional roller coasters and Robyn's "translating" for Kody are symptoms of bigger relationship problems - triangulation, enmeshment, codependency, infantilization, learned helplessness, financially misusing others (and I'm not even inserting narcissism but I think that's a factor too)

There is a timeline issue. Janelle told Christine she was stunned and took 30 minutes before she called Kody to get his stuff.
How did Robin take a call from Janelle? I seriously doubt there are landlines and Janelle called that one on the phone and Robin picked up and I had a conversation. Most people have their own phones and answer their own phones. So that's real fishy to me.
Seems to me Kody came home, slamming doors and cussing up a storm, and Robin decided to call Janelle. And that's when Janelle decided enough. Called Kody and told him to pick up his stuff.

Why on earth would Robin feel she is in a place where she can tell Janelle anything. When she knows the exact treatment Janelle has been receiving. How many of us would let it go to voicemail. I’d change her contact to toxic energy trying to invade.

I think she made that up. I don’t believe she said a word to Janelle. I also think she knows Janelles had her number for years and she’s afraid of Janelle. In other words, I doubt she’d ever tangle with Janelle. Janelle would eat her alive. She knows Christine has a more gentle demeanor and she says things about her she’d never dare say about Janelle.

You explain the characters so well. You see right through Kody and Robyn. I used to admire Robyn during the first several seasons. She really fooled me with her crying, sweet talk and offer to carry Meri’s baby (..people may not remember that part). Now I see just how evil Kody is, and how manipulative, hypocritical and fake Robyn is. Everything she says on screen is fake. Christine and Janelle are gems…truly caring and wise women who deserve better partners.
