I've had other BPM baits ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

So, I noticed something odd about your videos, ND; when watching your vids, I get a feeling of calm relaxation that I myself do not achieve when I am out on the water...your "zen-ness" is just awesome. As others have said, there's no obnoxious music or forced emotions; you're just a guy in a kayak enjoying a day doing what you love! Maybe I'm too invested in myself when fishing vs. watching someone else, but DAMN are you great to watch! Thanks for the videos and advice! I hope to one day get up to the Boundary Waters for a 7-10 day kayaking trip and land me some of those Pike they're famous for. FISH ON!!!

Water is frozen here. Snowing we we speak. I don’t know how much longer I’ll last but I sure could use a little kayak action right now

I got myself a similar rat a few weeks ago. Watching this has got me even more anxious from spring to arrive and try it!! Those were some great looking Pike. 👌💯

I call you the "Bob Ross of RUclips anglers". You calmly say "That's exciting", when snagging these monsters, and I would be having heart failure! Very entertaining and informative videos. I don't have these monsters near me in Oregon, but I'm going to try the whopper plopper for smallies this year.

River fishing is awesome! The fish seem a little more aggressive on the river and they relate to structure and current breaks that are a lot easier to see without electronics. Here where the wind almost never stops you can always find some calm spots on the river too.

As a kid back in the 50s my dad would take me fishing in the north channel of Georgian bay near lIttle Current Ont.we would fish early in the AM for bait(perch) and fish for muskies and pike the rest of the day, great memories

Nice chat and very entertaining in a beautiful spot. This guy sure knows what he's doing, and he's an excellent caster. Being a Brit, I'm obviously familiar with pike and carp, but I've never heard of a muskey so will now check it out.

Lots of practice! River fishing helps with accuracy too, most of the time there’s a target I’m aiming my cast at.

Is not the fact that is a rat, but the motion of almost anything moving on top water, any fish that is a predator is likley to go for a bite.
