Thank you for watching each week and commenting nice things! It means a lot :)
@@fishwithcarl hi
10:31 That underwater shot was so clear 😍
That was awesome!
Yoo, would like to see more of these shots , just pure beauty 😍😍😍
I know right! The water is just so clean!!
Those Test pike look immaculate. If you can, please keep the pike videos coming as there's nothing quite like watching the float glide away into the depths, not knowing what you're about to lift into. Congrats to Ryan on his new PB too🍻
Thanks Richard, I agree, the float going down is what gets me on the bank all winter haha
@@fishwithcarl It will never get old, I assure you😎
Mad to think I started watching uses in school now I'm watching with my daughter time flies.keep it up lads
I hate your daughter
Stunning fish lads, congrats to Ryan well done buddy 👍
Thanks 👍
Sat watching this as my mackerel tail is bobbing about a lock on a very flooded Thames stretch near Oxford. Not even a nibble. Praps come back in a few days when its dropped, i reckon the pike had the better idea of staying home with a brew!
Where do you fish on the Thames?
A lot of the stretches around Oxford, particularly around the back of Farmoor reservoir.
In Finland there is just a bunch of snow so i cant fish☹️
Best of luck next time!
You guys make some of the most beautiful fishing videos on YT.
Wow, thanks!
My one observation after a lifetime of barbering is men with a passion for something, be it fishing, hiking, woodworking or whatever will extend one’s life. Thanks for sharing yours!
The pike you all got on that session looked really healthy, I will keep my fingers crossed that I will have the same luck that you all had.
Good luck when you get out!
Pike are amazing, they fight well, they look menacing and they're being caught by you so it makes it 5 times better👍keep it up(and hopefully that made sense😂)
Thanks!
Beautifully shot. Reminds me of a trip to the Hampshire Avon some years back. A pal and I were fishing below the weir at Ringwood. We were ledgering for barbel. I caught a trout of around 3lbs and returned it at my feet and a massive pike shot out of the marginal rushes and almost snatched it from my hands. Gave me the shock of my life. It sat on the bottom right in front of us with the trout - I could see the tip of the tail and the head sticking out at each side of it's jaws. I grabbed my landing net and attempted to net it. Got it in the net, whereupon it went crazy, thrashed and actually broke the landing net handle. I jumped in and tried to grab it and it took off. I did get the net back, but not the pike. Had to be at least 20lb.
Wow that's the sort of fishing moment you never forget!!

haha, thanks for the view!
@@fishwithcarl Where did you buy this: 3:09
This is great lads made my weekend with this video 👍🏻🎣
Awesome video once again. I do love the colours on pike, always end up with a injury or two when the action is that crazy!! Good work
The quality of these videos are just amazing and it is well filmed. It is so entertaining watching you both fish for a variety of species. Well on your way to 300k subscribers! And well done Ryan with his pb!
Cheers! Thank you very much!
Carl and alex you should go to barden lake because thats where I think has 30lb pike, double figure bream and tench and huge carp
Sounds good, will look into that!
10:32 that soundeffect killed it XD
Myself and my son watch you guys all the time. He comes with me on nights and days. He suffers from hyper mobility autism and agriphobia. But tell him we ar e going fishing and he is in the car waiting to leave. His pb is a 12lb common. Not bad for a 8 year old. Keep up the good work lads tight lines.
You guys are make me happy always. I dont know why but im always on my crying limit to see this happiness on your face! Best's from Budapest!
When I saw you new vid I was so happy because you haven't uploaded in ages
In 2 weeks so n too bad
Great to hear, another video coming on Saturday!
you guys should try handline for pike
That should be entertaining
I've never handlined for pike, but I love it for trout. Or pretty much anything. Pike would be huge fun!
After I saw the video of you guys doing your best in saving those fishes on the lake I immediately subscribed. It's so inspiring to see people who still care for their surroundings. Keep up the good work and be safe always.
Thanks Rona!
Your pike fishing video's are your best video's in my opinion! Keep them coming!
Glad you like them!
8:03 when you finally find the magic mushrooms.
Explosive fishing indeed, that was a “dynamite” video..
Couldn’t resist, sorry fellas
Haha, thanks!
Thank you for being you guys. effortlessly amazing every time, its a pleasure to subscribe to you.
Thanks Joe!
Sitting here in the summer heat of northern NZ and about to head out fishing in the Gulf...but boy, do I miss those days. Spent many happy years fishing these exact same places, in winter for pike and in summer for chub, Rudd and roach. Beautiful places, wonderful memories. Go well chaps and keep bringing me these memories.
Thanks for the comment, means a lot to hear these videos have brought you good memories! :)
Last five times I’ve been out with lures I’ve blanked and so has everyone else
iv had a couple, it has been tuff tho
I had five doubles in one day on a savage gear perch lure
You blanker
I've been out 3 times this year, blanked every time so far :( lol
try using a rasher off bacon cut up the middle fish it really slow ( i mean almost like sink and draw like a dead bait) on a trace and a suitable sized single hook, i know it sounds stupid but it freakin nails pike this time of year
What’s your favourite capture Carl and Alex ?
A pic of your grandma ( its underground)
I love to fish alone, just to enjoy the quiet, listen to all the wildlife around me, and just live in the moment. But, some of the best fishing I have had is fishing with friends. It's always great to see the smile on your friends face when they land a great fish. You feed off their excitement. Lot's of laughs also!
me to i love to fish alone and to have wank in nature...usualy after i go take big dump somewhere in middle of road in hope someone willl step on it
Pike are fantastic fighters. Only ever caught my biggest as 12lb 3ozs out of Cheshunt Lakes in 1974. Dead baiting and I waited for roughly the same amount of time to hit it as the first one you caught in this video. Unfortunately it swallowed the hook so I had to off it. Carrying it back on the Greenline did attract a certain amount of attention :) Gave it to the Venezuelans downstairs. Within an hour we got an invite to a meal and were eating it. Not bad. Went for a walk and watched someone pull an 8lb Bream out of the Thames bout four weeks ago, made a good guess on weight as well, the angler was impressed, but then again so was I :) Ty :)
People when they get here early quick I need a funny
In English?
@@robs715 translation-funny
Never heard of a salmon taking a dead bait. Definitely a big trout.
Thanks for the info Barry!
And once again you guys managed to cheer me up big time in these sad times with a great video full of nature, friendship and last but not least, nice fish :) Thank a lot for sharing this with us!

Thanks, best of luck with your videos!
Love your videos guys!!! Keep them coming! 🐟🐟🐟
Thanks! Will do!
@@fishwithcarl sounds great!!! As long as you took time out of your way to reply, can you tell me what tactic would you use on rivers that don't hold many big pike. I lived in Englend for 5 years and really enjoyed lure fishing and now I moved back to my home country(Romania). The rivers close to me don't have many big pike. Anything orev 6 pounds would already be big out of there, and I don't really know what would be the best option
Another quality video as per usual C&A!congratulations on the PB dude 👌🏻
Thanks a ton for watching.
Mahalo Nui Loa for the journey Brutha’s🤙🏽And Ryan congratulations on your personal new🐳 bestess.👊😉🔱

I love your videos. You guys inspire me to go fishing more often and from watching you guys you have inspired me to start a channel with a few friends for fishing videos🐠/camping videos and general outdoor videos 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I started fishing many years ago as a very young boy as most do, live bait with floats for bluegill and such. Now many years later in my golden years I still get a thrill from watching a float go under. Really enjoy your videos and has helped in so many ways this winter. Keep up the good work guys!!!
So pleased to hear. Thanks Mark!
Absolutely love your vids and they are always top notch - the shots underwater were amazing Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Probably the most respectable fisherman out there, God bless you guys. Hope your future holds amazing fishing adventures.
Cheers Thane. Thank you so much!
Great vid as always lads, love the river Test, it's where my life long angling obsession began.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I am always blown away by this guys editing. It has got to be the highest quality editing I have seen on RUclips. This channel should have at least 4x the subscribers simply because of the editors skill.
Thanks Nicholas, glad you appreciate the editing!

The respect you handle the fish with is excellent !!! Really really good work guys !!

Absolutely incredible! It took me at least 30 minutes to watch a 19 minute video because I kept pausing to stare at the screen. I looked at the bridge scene at 6:20 for at least 5 minutes. Absolutely stunning is all I can say! Amazing video! Incredible fish, and jaw dropping videography! Thanks so much for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it!
that explosive strike! those pike don't mess around for sure!
