- It's a perfect fall day for some kayak fishing, let's hit the river and see if we can catch some pike and muskie! On this trip I'm fishing a swimbait that was made by a friend from Poland!

A guy from Poland carves an incredible lure and generously sends it to a guy who immediately catches some terrific pike and musky in South Dakota. I love it.

@@chrism8180 He has no pretension at all. It's rare on the internet nowadays, especially on RUclips. Matt has one of the very few channels that I suggest to anybody and everybody.
I was born in Poland, raised in Canada, I became a successful bass tournament angler, my 1st tournament bass was caught on a Polish made sculpin imitation, very nice looking perch , you knew it would work before you even tried it 👍🙏
That happened to me years ago. I was home on leave from the Navy and my Dad bought me a new rod and reel. We were at a rented cottage on Black Lake in New York. It was almost dark and I went down to the dock and tied on a jitterbug lure. Dragged it through the water once to see its action and a nice pike hit it. 1967. I love these videos. No nonsense and all action. Thank you for not making us sit through a half hour of you driving to your fishing spot and another half hour launching your kayak.

That was like some video game fishing there, I swear that fish just spawned in next to me. I was scanning the bottom as I was paddling up and didn’t see any fish sitting down there!
@@ndyakangler always the best catch,the one that totally takes you by surprise! I stopped next to the bank once for lunch...had my lure just barely dangling next to the boat and ...BAM, a big smallmouth hit it! Had my sandwich in hand! But I got him

The Polish Perch turned out to be a great lure and it’s a blessing that you have friends around the world who make lures and send them to you and you test them with us getting to see first hand how well they work. Please keep sending us all your great works, I watch some episodes over a few times because they are terrific! Can you tell that I’m a big fan?

Here I am visiting the kids in Milwaukee for early Thanksgiving. It’s 20 degrees out and I get to watch this video while staying warm inside. Makes me yearn for my Kayak and fishing back home on warmer days!

Those small pike are tasty eating, hard to tell from walleye. There are some gifted artisans in Poland.
