Appreciate the comment :). This is not for a user that is already running spad. This is for new users and the installation and configuration of the application. RUclips does not let you “replace” existing videos or update so to say. Thus have to update the content but as a new video.
Had no idea about FIPs. Great little additions to full sim build out. I used monitors for my PFD, ND, ECAM etc, but the FIP would be nice to use for small secondary instruments for a320 etc

Re installing the software won’t change anything you need to figure out what your issue is. I am not technical support. Please join the spad discord to seek assistance as to what your issue is.
Hello i have a question do you think one day we could program the two pieces of the REALSIMGEAR .... REALSIMGEAR GENERIC SWITCH PANEL and REALSIMGEAR SINGLE G5 PFD/HSI via SPADNEXT ?????? i am on MSFS2020 . And i know that the G5 is just for XPLANE (Why???) Thanks for your answer
If you would like UPDATES yes after 1 year you need a subscription to get any New UPDATES. Your license will not stop working .. but you will not be able to get new versions.
Confused. All I want is a profile or snippet I gues where my Goflight EFIS and MCP-PRO is recognized and work in general It would be great for specif aircraft. I don't really want to program anything
so make a profile for the plane(s) that make similar sense.. ie PMDG 737 (you will be able to attach all -6/7/8/9 to the one profile as you load them. Then use the Snippet system to download a device snippet for each device you own ... there done..
I would like to know the best way to have different hardware configurations for the same plane. For an example. I have the honeycomb yoke, honeycomb throttle, saitek radio, saitek multi panel, saitek instrument panel, saitek bip and the saitek fip. That would be one configuration set. But sometimes I just want to use my thrustmaster warthog. That would be the second configuration set. Sometimes I don’t want to get all the saitek and honeycomb gear out. So it would be good to select which hardware configuration set I want to use.
I have all of the devices programed in the same profile :) .. I don't have to have them plugged in or just don't use them while plugged in. If you want to have multiple profiles you can do that just fine .. Just don't enable auto switching then you will Manually switch them via the profile menu. Though again I feel like if you just add your warthog config to the same profile that will also work just fine.. I have a Bravo / X56 / TCA Airbus / TCA Boeing and even an old TPM throttle that are all able to be plugged in and they are all in the same profile.. or unplugged then added again later..
Correct!! The Sim Var that reports what plane is in use is based on the "Livery Variant" not a "base" model... So that is exactly how to do it ... very useful in the C414 where you have the livery with 530 GPS or 750 GPS ... they have different APs as well and this is a solid benifit.
I don't own the Fenix and never will ... Not really an Airbus guy and worse they don't output the data from the screens .. Yes I know there is a development out there that accesses the memory space to do this.. but that is against the license the is agreed to when using the license as supplied by Fenix.. I have to respect that license and in doing so have no interest in a plane I can pull out the data... 737 or FBW it is for me..
You dropped into the weeds almost immediately without any high level overview and completely lost me. If there’s another video that explains this you should let your viewers know up front. I’m now in search of a better explainer video.
Have not even scratched the surface.. that is why there are so many videos. It’s an extremely deep product and multiple items are broken up into separate videos for that reason.

They are okay.. virtual FIPs also work well dragged into other monitors.

Think the request for those two devices needs to be asked more in SPAD next discord.. If enough users want the device he will add them.

What be reset? Just delete your profiles if you want to re program them.
