Just recently picked up Spad.. been fun figuring it out but now I've got my mixture and condition levers set up properly with fuel cutoff using the detent for the button push and the proper axis only controlling the low and high modes. top of the axis puts it into high, bottom of the axis up to the detent puts you in low and pushing through the detent cuts fuel.

Once you start programming your hardware with it, there's no turning back. I can't even begin to imagine using in-game controls. Everything (everything!) is programmed through spad and mapped to external devices, secondary keyboards (for MCDUs), MIDI devices, Stream Decks, Honeycombs, Logitech panels of all types and so on and so forth. None of that would have been available without spad. It's the best flight sime investment I ever did.

@Iluv2Fly-kc5mu I'll partly agree with that, because there's an obvious lack of proper documentation. They usually provide limited assistance in their discord channel and there are plenty of tutorial videos around (especially by Les) but it's a fact that the entire project isn't exactly revolving around customer support. Most of the time you just have to figure things on your own, especially when it comes to more complicated stuff. On the other hand when it comes to MSFS, the latter isn't consistent by itself and they keep changing stuff, so spad is only trying to catch up.

I appreciate the work you do on these videos. Would it be possible to do one showing how you used SPAD.Next to set up your Virpil controls, specifically the VPC-MongoosT-50CM3 throttle and the flightstick/grip you have, (I am using the VPC Constellation ALPHA Prime), as well as your rudder pedals? (I'm using the MFG Crosswind rudder pedals). Thanks!

I cant get virpil panel to work with the condition lever axis. Ive programmed the prop pitch etc, but the condition axis isnt moving the red lever in the 208 analog from black square.
    Any input?

Hello, question. Would you know if there is a way to acknowledge an ATC transmission without using a mouse and clicking on the pop-up window? I would like to assign a button on my quadrant controller or my loupedeck for this purpose.

great video although i don't get why you set the mixture cutoff on the axis instead of putting that on the detent "button" on the axis i managed to work it out though by reverse engineering what you done great video only other thing i would have liked to have seen as a total noob to spad is how to set a parking brake toggle on/off switch to one button im just about to have a mess around trying that thanks very much for the help much appreciated ;)

On theTBM850 with the VS & Alt, I'm having to mouse click on the knob (on screen) before it lets me enter the numbers, just moving the selector switch on the Bravo is not activating or selecting the mode on screen. How do you have that set up?
    Thanks

Thanks for the video, what about the curves for the yaw, pitch and roll axis? Is there a necessity to adjust these for the controllers when using Spad ? Default MS curves typically make the aircraft very twitchy

I wonder if spad can also detect the realsimgear stuff because I have the gfc-500 AP that with some planes like the new PC-12, the altitude knob will not control the altitude setting in the plane.
