Scotty, My 2009 GMC Sierra with 95,000 miles has an ac system that almost always works just fine. But when it gets really hot outside like the other day, it sometimes keeps switching from pulling inside air to pulling outside air and not cooling properly. But then when I keep pushing the inside air button after a minute or so, it goes back to working just fine! What do you think - could it be the AC Pressure switch, and if so can I repair that myself or will I lose all the coolant when I disconnect the old one?
I can remember Cadillac back in the 50s, when my dad bought his first caddy, and it was comparable to Mercedes or Lincoln, and my grandfather had a Cadillac in the 30s, when they were V 12 engines and Cadillac stood for luxury
I used to work for a Cadillac dealership and I sold many CTSs, it was shockingly rare to have any customer complaints and honestly it was very rare to ever have a CTS in the shop for anything other than an oil change. I would know I was constantly prowling the service lounge for customers.
I have mixed feelings about this car. I want to purchase one, there are very good reviews but there's also people who had only problems, I can't decide smh
This isn't completely true. Visit any cadillac cts forum and search timing chain and you'll see why. Two timing chains later (in less than 10k miles) and mine still burns oil.. This car is notoriously bad
@@capturingperfectionphotogr1144 bet they put on the cheap Chain kit that sold on line 199$ as a replacement or the auto parts stores sold the inferior chains also . Instead the quality chain kits lasts and is much more money . But I believe the Ford F-150 and 3.5ecoboost and Gm 3.6 2.8 engineers were best friends and all had a chain fetish lolol
Ryan's Motorsports form over function bud that’s what we’ve come to these days you spent 500 bucks on an expensive fan to cool your room five years later you have to replace it because warrantee won’t replace the motor that burned out because fire damage counts as misuse and voids it
This car actually puts out 304 hp (with direct inject 3.6). The reason they didn't sell well last year was because they were way overpriced. Not because they broke down or were crappy, just 50,000+ was too high for what it was. Also this car is all wheel drive (did you see the little 4 by the CTS badge)?
The WatchJrGo channel is fixing this 3.6 "high feature" timing chain issue on a 2010 Camaro - same engine, same PCV problem. GM engineers probably wrote internal memos on this issue a long time before it was common knowledge. I think it would have been a simple and cheap recall to fix the PCV issue - otherwise the 3.6 engine isn't too bad, but that's not what the public thinks now. Why didn't GM fix the issue for free a decade ago?
This is completely off topic but i decided to post it here since this is one of the top comments. Has anyone here ever wondered why every comment is so positive? I inherited a 2007 CTS and on Monday I finally hit 25,000 miles! I love it. It has the 2.8L V6 and it runs as smooth as the day my grandfather bought it.
I owned a 2008 CTS and had it for 11 years. This was a fantastic car that was very reliable. Never an engine problem. The only issue was I had to replace the bearings all around over the life of the car. Other than that very few issues. The only reason i got rid of it is because it got into an accident and it cost too much to repair vs the value of an 11 year old car. So i bought a 2018 CTS and love it. Scotty makes so many generalizations it's crazy. Funny how Cadillac has recently been second in initial quality while BMW and Mercedes are at the back of the pack. I also own a Cadillac XT5 which was not moving and smashed into by a Lexus RX. The Lexus came out way worse than my XT5 in that collision. Be honest and stop with your biased reviews. There are other brands than Toyota and Lexus, and GM makes some great cars these days, Cadillac being one of them. How do I know, cause I've owned many brands and keep going back to Cadillac cause they have been the most reliable for me. How people trust his feedback is beyond me, this dude has zero credibility.
@@rafidalbotany1109 there is no luck with it, I buy used luxury cars at auctions, and I found alot of luxury brands, not just Cadillac has issues used, the reason the first owner got rid of it and now the dealer is auctioning it off, is because the first owner dogged it out and left all of the issues for the next man, and if you are not the type that can fix any issue with the car, I would avoid buying any luxury brand used, they normally have issues. cheap cars no matter the brand will outlast a luxury version because it has less electronics and gadgets to go wrong, that's just how cars work, also if you dont drive the v6 like a v8, they tend to last longer, it all comes down to the person that drives the car and how they keep their foot in the gas peddle everyday like its a nascar
Scotty: Cadillacs are junk, poor designed....etc... Also Scotty: Looks pretty nice, solidly put together, rides pretty well, not a lot of noise, handling is pretty good, makes decent power, brakes well. Soctty's Deadly Sin: guilty pleasures
When I was 3 yes, Three , I had already gotten the car bug. One of the first cars I recall was a 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood - I went over to it and hugged the tire - when I was in College in Oklahoma I bought a 12 year old 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood - I grew up in Houston, Tx and on break I would drive the Fleetwood from OKC to Houston - leaving @ midnight I would arrive in Houston @ 5:00 AM . Try that with a Cadillac today - - the engine would melt like an ice cube in Tucson. The comfort space and elegance of my '60 far surpasses ANYTHING they make today !!! The bean counters destroyed GM and Cadillac.
@@josephgaviota Oh but I have watched it - the Cadillac in that movie is a 1958 Sixty Special Limousine - back when they made real limos not these stretched jokes that you see nowadays.
My wife is driving a 2011 3.0 CTS with 53,000 miles and she noticed that a change engine oil light warning occurred. I checked the oil dip stick and to my surprise it showed none. I added 2.5 qts which brought the level to full. Thanks for the video. I will be paying closer attention to the oil in this car which has had no issues during the 25,000 miles of our ownership. I have been trying to talk her into a new Lexus but she loves her Caddy.
I have an 07 STS. My Dad gave it to me years ago. It is still running great. I was taught to check oil when I fuel up. I replaced motor mounts and ujoints. This car is wow.
@@mercedesbenzs600bash her in Germany they telling you how great and reliable American cars are, but the truth is, that it isn't the case anymore and its very disappointing what kind of cars we get from the car producers, i am sad that there are no greate us sedans anymore, the only one is the crow vic platform that is reliable but i heard that the pre 2005 had problems with the radiator. i like rear wheel drive sedan, i personally drive a merc w210 e280 from 1997 and its got over 280000 km ~ 174000 miles on the clock, and its still got the original engine and transmission, of course it needs repairs, the worst parts are some electronic components, but its a nice car and has a smooth ride
I really love that generation CTS (2008-2013), it has a great American design, very good interior and engine choices were all V6. Speaking of which, does the 3.0L V6 (272 HP) a better option for the CTS and more reliable ? Did GM fix the problem on those 3.6L in later models of that CTS. By the way, they didn't stop making them, they just call it the CT5 now ...
I currently have a 2012 CTS with 103000 on it and I bought the CTS with 68000 on it. Other than regular maintenance like oil changes & replacing head lights. It has been a privilege driving that car. Absolutely no issues.
@@sergeeternal3778 our Federal government bought their shares and sold them back to gm at 1/2 price during the 2009 recession. I think it was closer to 4 billion loss.
I've had a 2012 CTS for the past 5 years, has almost 150,000 miles and the only issue I ever had with it is when the OEM alternator started going out a few months ago at around 140,000 miles. Other than that it's given me no trouble 🤷♂️
I have had to change the ignition coils... started around 50,000... must have done 7 of them... its a 3.6l 6 cyl. Have 140,000 miles on the car now... 2006.
I find this off, my father owned one from 2009. His had basic maintenance and serviced it himself. He did replace the timing chains a few months prior to selling it. He sold it about a month ago and at the time it had 257k miles on the odometer on the original engine and trans.
@@H1storybr3akdown Between the 2014-2015 Cadillac CTS V sport models, there is just recently a highway safety recall on the rear axle/ slip differential failing. The pins with a single sheer design tend to get overwhelmed over time and break off which leads to the differential locking up. The parts were made in many locations and with various parts, so not every model is affected. I went and did the job anyway as a prevention, but my service provider at heritage cadillac in Morrow, GA didn't do a VIN search to see if my car needed it. I believe mine didn't from latter research. Anyhow, my differential locked up and failed a month and a half after the recall work and I'm ruing this entire car at this point. I'm also dealing with a P0017, crank position sensor code, it's bank 1 exhaust position, so that's B, which is over the passenger side of the engine bay. I did my ignition coils and spark plugs and had to do an EVAP purge valve replacement since the code before this was a leak in the EVAP system.
You should review a CTSV. Plenty of power. I've had Cadillacs for decades. Never had a problem. I always maintain my equipment. My current Escalade has almost 300k highway miles and has never had a problem. Keep up on the brakes, tires, and oil changes any thy last forever. Take care Bud. Stay healthy.
In the early and mid ‘60’s my family had a ‘56 Caddy Sedan de Ville. It had A/C and the gold Sabre Spoke wheels. That was a very comfortable car. Changing the battery required an engine hoist. So Dad spent for tires, brakes, a battery, oil changes, etc. Back then the Cadillac name meant something.
I've had my '07 CTS for over 4 years now (110,000 miles on it currently), and I've only had to do one $200 repair in all that time. Car's been solid af. Then again, I stay on top of the oil levels religiously since I had another Cadi a long time ago that burned oil so I already assumed this one would too (and it does). Overall I have no complaints though.
@@abrahambustos4843 - I would say it depends on the price and service history. Make absolutely sure it's had regular oil changes all its life, especially if it's the 3.6 because they are especially sensitive to that. If it's a good price and it's been well-maintained, I'd say go for it. I still have mine to this day, and if I had to pick one of my 3 cars I'd trust with my life to make a long-distance run, it'd still be the CTS. It has never let me down.
1. They still make them, just called CT6 now 2. I had one, very reliable (as long as you maintain it like you’re supposed to) and I drove it very spiritedly lol 3. It CLEARLY said CTS4 on the back which means it IS AWD 4. It has the 3.6L DI (again, says it right on the back by the 3.6L badge) engine so it makes 304hp (not 265 like the PFI model) Cmon Scotty, at least know your facts on the car you’re working on!
I was at dinner a while back and one of the diners announced that he bought a new Cadillac. Everyone else started laughing. What a shame. When I was a kid people would swoon over a Cadillac.
Scotty i used to have a 99 Cadillac sls but i ended up junking it due to it blew the head gasket and i wasn't going to pay 5 grand just to do a engine overhaul on a junky northstar engine that had overheating issues when i got rid of it the car only had 114,000 miles on it. I ended up buying a 97 Ford Crown Victoria with only 70,000 miles and have no issues
I have a 2012 srx premium . I changed plugs and coils myself and regularly change oil with full synthetic. Hasn’t given me problems , only my factory battery died a few months ago. One of the more reliable caddys i think
2014 xts, rear suspension went out at 55k miles. Compressor went bad for the air ride, causing the bags to deflate on the magneride, ruining it. CPO warranty didnt cover the shocks, ended up costing me a good amount of money. Then, the rear shocks went out again, this time only 12k miles later, luckily covered by a parts warranty. Will never buy another one, or any GM product.
I owned a 2007 CTS and traded(gave it away) to dealer after 175K miles and bought a 2018 Avalon Hybrid. My CTS was using 1 quart of oil every 500-600 miles. None of the dealer mechanics provided your explanation. The dealer wanted to replace the engine heads for $3-4K. I did not believe them. thanks for the information Scotty. I agree GM cars including Cadillac are poor performers and have fallen way behind the competition.
Wes Brown bought a 2006 cts 2.8 as is from a Kia dealership trade in un certified 2018 . The cts was in mint condition I checked for sludge none transmission was nice and clean diamond white 18 inch factory rims . I redid all the brakes cost me $ 300.00 4 new tires $560 checked lights changed oil. Oil undercoated. Repaired sunroof leak and some wiring minor issues $ 130 for local mechanic to do the inspection car must have been in the south during winters it had 0 rust on under body . Any way the cts cost me grand $2500.00certified doing all the work myself .I change oil every 5000 km runs great I also did a upper induction cleaning and it made a huge improvement to performance . Besides using 5-30 synthetic +5 oz motorkote and a quality low restriction quality oil filter I also check oil weekly it uses about a pint between oil changes . The only problem I have is one rear wheel bearings is slightly noisy and I purchased a replacement from car quest $74.95 with abs sensor will be changing it in 2 weeks . Like the car handles well decent milage . Waxed the car couple of times it literally looks new , the cts won’t be winter driven here in Ontario Canada as road have more salt on them than some of the fast food French fry’s and kill cars and trucks in less than 8 years . My daily driver is a 3.8 2004 Grand Prix with 408000 km on the clock which also gets regular maintenance . As a teen student I worked at a village gm dealership and did everything from body work ,paint ,detailing, paint restoration, assisting mechanics rebuilding engines and transmission, undercoating, and many other duties it was a great addition to shop class . Once I graduated from college electronics I gave up the car business but not my love of cars and my home shop is well equipped to paint and do most mechanical repairs
I was considering an 04-08 CTS, and now i realize, even more now, that i should probably look at something else. It seems that the low mileage Audi i bought was probably the best car purchase i had made in a while. 3200$ for 310hp= 10.62$/hp= good investment. Still runs and drives great.
I have owned a 2013 CTS4 and I live in a mountainous area, this vehicle has been amazing in the snow, the all wheel drive system is amazing! The only problems I have had is the belt tensioner crapped out . This is after 210000km.
I bought a 2011 CTS 3.6 with the all wheel drive and premium package was pretty well-maintained it was an older couple all highway miles when they drove back-and-forth to North Carolina car runs pretty good engine starts right up it’s got around 150,000 miles but no real issues I change the oil every 4 to 5000 miles I put full synthetic in it mobile one with the mobile one filter that’s that’s about it no problems
I thought so to. I ran across a guy that claimed he had one and it never did fail. Eventually the rest of the car fell apart. Ran across a guy at the airport that has a GM diesel caddy recently. Still running, 500K+ miles. That one was fine. Maybe if they don't put the connecting rod through the side of the crank case in the first 100K miles you're fine.
I had this model CTS and it did make a rattling noise. When I took it to the Cadillac dealership he said it was “normal” and nothing they could do. It was the PVC valve.
>mark price: all I saw was a tire pressure light. Being an 08, the tire sensors are probably all dead and cost $75-$100 each to replace. Most people don't bother replacing them.
My dad learned his lesson on owning a Cadillac when he purchased a 6 year old 96 El Dorado with 92,000 miles for $6000, of course it had the death-star engine in it, but he changed his oil every 3000 miles and after one year he had to put a quart in it every 3-4 weeks because the oil pan gasket developed a bad leak. He took it to the neighborhood garage where he gets a lot of things done and they called him back 2 hours later, come and get your car, we can't change the gasket without pulling the engine. He keep it for 6 more months and in that time frame, anything that had a fluid in it leaked, including the freon in the AC system. He got $3500 on a trade in for a 99 Lincoln Continental, that was a GOOD car until my older sister totaled, that poor car was laid to rest at the local LKQ Salvage Yard.
@@slowchassis exactly. The point of a Cadillac isn’t super powered engine. One of their biggest problem is that GM started chasing BMW & Mercedes. Super charged, sports luxury cars. It’s a contradiction. And the seats are hard and they are shiny but entirely made of plastic. My 1994 DeVille 4.9 v-8 was a beautiful car that was comfortable, rode like a cloud, and insulated from the road. Plus I could seat six in a sedan. Now you can’t buy a full sized Cadillac sedan and they’re no more comfortable than a Chevy. Use to have leather wrapped doors, wood trim, and aluminum buttons and switches. When you spent 65,000 on a Cadillac in 1994 you wanted to feel like you were driving luxury in quality. But my 2003 DeVille was the last Cadillac I owned. It was pure garbage. If I’m going to spend 50,000+ on a car, I’ll buy a Volvo.
Correct. I bought a used 2008 cts4 3 years ago with 8ok mikes and have put 24k miles in with zero problems so far considering I only drive it in winter. Guess I have been lucky just changed oil regularly I change it with 25% left on oil change indicator.
I got my '05 CTS in 2015 Used for 2k (265k miles on it). had very little repair costs till now when the fuel injectors started to fail. I wouldn't buy a brand new one but 2k and not having to really pay hardly anything in repairs for 6-7 years? I'm satisfied with it. I only recently found your channel and am enjoying the videos considering I know very little about cars.
I drove a gold 1972 Coupe de Ville, loved it, 472 cubes of gas guzzling smoothness, when I pulled up to the pump, I would usually bring it in on the starboard side.
@@larrymiles100 wow, yes actually. The differential went out on it, and I had a hard time getting it repaired. It was finally done 2 days ago. I spent close to $3,000. Everything else seems to be working fine for now.
Taha Khattabi hey the motors are ok just change the oil, every 5000 km and use low restriction oil filter and I use 5oz motorkote in the oil also. Until I read about the motors are made in st Catherines
If you buy speedway brand oil to top off, make sure you throw the left over away. The top will not hold and will leak. The first time I thought someone got in my trunk, it ruined my new mats. I kept the second on the floor behind the seat to keep an eye on it. It tipped over and oil on floor.
My Dad would buy used Cadillacs. In 1968, his 1958 Chevrolet Yeoman Station Wagon was having problems with the Powerglide transmission, and he bought his first Cadillac, a 1963 model 62 four door. Later, he sold that and bought a used 1965 Calais. I loved the next one. It was a 1970 Fleetwood. Pure Luxury. The last one he had was a 1975 Sedan DeVille. My favorites were the '63 and the '70. Although, when they needed to be serviced or repaired, I would take care of that, and he would drive my car. A Studebaker.
Good afternoon Scotty! I've got an '08 CTS Performance. 301 hp, 6-speed trans. All the goodies except nav. Had it for 6 years now, and it's been pretty trouble-free. Doesn't use oil, shifts well, handles well for a car with a fat @ss! Got from original owner; he used it for long distance travel. Chicago,Il. to Phoenix,Az. between 6 to 10 times a year. Maybe that's why mine runs so well, she was broke in right. Now she's for sale, I just don't drive her anymore [I've got 4 cars!]. I'm asking $6500. Got 90k on the clock. Gorgeous car, though!!
My folks have a 13 SRX with the 3.6 has not had any mechanical issues, twice replaced the CUE system under warantee and one time replace the AWD pump also under warantee
I have a 2008 Cadillac CTS with the 3.6. I bought it 5 years ago with 37000 miles and am still driving it with 94000 miles. It burns a half a quart every 3000 miles. I change the oil with Mobil 1 every 5000 miles myself. It runs great! By the way, it has 304 hp! I looked it up!
We Canadians build engines according to what the Mechanical Engineers designed ! ! ! That's it and that's all ! Cheers from Canada, Polar Bear country.
It makes sense for Cadillac to be moving fast toward 100% electric cars....they've definitely shown that they do not know how to design internal combustion engines.
Scotty is not nearly as smart as he thinks. Good thing ignorant people on RUclips that don’t know any better, keep supporting him by watching his videos. I’ve worked on plenty of Toyota, Acura, Honda’s etc. and know they all break. I’ve seen Toyota Camrys that were not maintained burning oil like crazy!
@@ericg4x4 yeah yeah yeah. Good luck buying Junkie Cars. You CAN"T hide the truth bud. It is a matter of well-earned reputation over the years when it comes to reliability in Japanese cars. I 've owned GMs and Fords and I am proud to say that I have quit them cold turkey along long time ago. I only buy Japanese cars now!
My 2010 Camaro had that same engine. Had to change the timing chain at 68,000 miles. Then everything else started wearing out. Now have a 2019 Mazda 6. One of the best cars I ever owned so far.
My dad has an 06 Escalade with around 250,000 miles. It’s not his only vehicle and it isn’t daily driven. It was owned by an old lady before he had it and it’s his workhorse/tower/beater. Not a bad way to use an old escalade in my opinion. Still running alright today. 👍
Its all about buying it smart .. we have got a 2012 3.0 V6 rear wheel drive model , no major issues really , had to change the O2 sensor , oil pressure sensor , transmission mount and front pushings and lower arms , its more of a general maintenance rather than repairs . AC is ice cold and the car looks way better than any ES or IS lexuses with their fainted plastic headlights and smashed dashboards and broken screens .. they may have a more reliable engines over all , but when it comes to luxury i would take the caddy everyday 👍🏻
I love my 08 CTS, i drove so many car and new cars all the time. The quality of the materials in the cts is amazing compared to todays modern cars. Cts is super stron heavy solid car. Just take care of it and it will last a long time. Yes oil changes and fill up every two weeks is a must. But nothing like the cts anymore
@Lucas Odum They keep chasing after the Germans with their numbering systems They dont understand that German buyers are not even taking a look in the Cadillac dealership
@turnne Exactly lots of people don’t even know they’re still in business and it’s sad how they tear apart their own good name by trying to be something that their not
The nameplates meant everything. And Cadillac had some of the finest names. Deville, Brougham ,Eldorado (My favorite,I have a 91 touring) Seville, Biarritz and in the 50`s ..an Eldorado Seville.
@@twiggyb67 They still had those nameplates well into the 80's and 90's...and sales were still declining Lexus introduced the LS400 in 1990 and it was about the same price as the Cadillac Seville and a MUCH better car than the Cadillac Seville...which was their top of the line
@@turnne Point being.... It's not the nameplates that were at fault for poor sales in comparison.... The name plates were something special... better than alphanumeric model names. Didn't suggest the names created quality or made them more competitive....those issues are beyond branding. Still think those nameplates were better.
i have a 2009 CTS AWD and it is awesome. The only problem I have had is a drive shaft issue about a year ago. I have 110,000 miles on it. I bought it new from the dealer. Buying a used car is questionable because you don't know the maintenance and driving history. I am very happy with the purchase and my next one is going to be an Cadillac XT5 after the chip shortage is no more

This isn't completely true. Visit any cadillac cts forum and search timing chain and you'll see why. Two timing chains later (in less than 10k miles) and mine still burns oil..

Good one, but they are very luxurious. The only issue is reliability and build quality.

Most of these cars have issues overtime either you just got lucky with it or just maintained it really well!

If you buy speedway brand oil to top off, make sure you throw the left over away. The top will not hold and will leak. The first time I thought someone got in my trunk, it ruined my new mats. I kept the second on the floor behind the seat to keep an eye on it. It tipped over and oil on floor.
Leased an Equinox. What a mistake. Had access to the employee discount is why we decided to go GM.
What happened? My dad's equinox was great
I wish Scotty could work on my 2010 Escalade hybrid. Can’t stop it from shaking. Changed the wires, plugs, injectors, coil packs, and O2 sensors
Why every single customer who bring their vehicle to Scotty for repair has a crap ton of stuff in the trunk?
I agree it’s like they live in their car....disgusting.
Where u at
My folks have a 13 SRX with the 3.6 has not had any mechanical issues, twice replaced the CUE system under warantee and one time replace the AWD pump also under warantee
Thanks to Scotty I now know that all car makes are endless money pits except toyota and lexus
97 deville 130k miles. i always do my maintenance on my northstar and she is my daily driver. had her for 3 yrs now not a hiccup
Cadillacs lost their quality when they lost their Dagmars.
I love the Dagmars, and I love the term. I use it every year at the auto show. Oddly, few people, even autophiles know the term.
Oh shut up, what a dumb comment to try to appear knowledgeable..
@@Samuelfish2k Dang, that's a strong comment. I guess you're not an admirer of the Dagmars ...
@@josephgaviota Tits have nothing to do with quality.
@@bladerunner5810 Of course that's true. That doesn't stop me from admiring them.
2010 Cadillac CTS owner here, still going strong. Regular maintenance, no issues! Love it to bits!
Acuras are just gold plated Hondas. Lexus is better, but I heard stories of people having problems with hondas/acuras
Same thing elsewhere
At least Honda and Toyota get it right often. Cambridge....Woodstock...Alliston
I don't fault you. I fault upper management.
My parents had a 1949 Fleetwood. Had afoot button near the brake, rang a bell for the servant to come out and open your door.
Even the cat is running away from the car🤣🤣
It makes sense for Cadillac to be moving fast toward 100% electric cars....they've definitely shown that they do not know how to design internal combustion engines.
Scotty this is AWD it says "4" on the trunk meaning AWD.
He doesn't care. He is all about supporting rice burners and bashing ALL American made cars. I would take a CTS over a little rice burner any day.
That CTS will last just as long as any luxury rice burner if maintained the same. By the way the 3.6 CTS engine is 335 horse , not 265 as he says.
You can do and say whatever you want about junk US cars but at the end it is the consumer who ends up paying for premature failures. I 've owned GMs and Fords and I am proud to say that I have quit them cold turkey along long time ago. I only buy Japanese cars now!
The Chevy Cruze 1.4 Eco also has the same "stupid design" integral PCV valve in the valve cover. 😐
My 2010 Camaro had that same engine. Had to change the timing chain at 68,000 miles. Then everything else started wearing out. Now have a 2019 Mazda 6. One of the best cars I ever owned so far.
One of the best GM cars 2005 Buick lesabre custom 3800 V6
Thee best haha used in Delta 88s
@@mfernando8639 all oldsmobiles were good
My dad has an 06 Escalade with around 250,000 miles. It’s not his only vehicle and it isn’t daily driven. It was owned by an old lady before he had it and it’s his workhorse/tower/beater. Not a bad way to use an old escalade in my opinion. Still running alright today. 👍
I can’t speak for other manufacturers but when my Acura breaks down it’s BIG bucks!
1:33 Scotty's cat wondering around looking for another money pit!
They don’t even have real names like the DeVille; they’re not real Cadillacs nowadays
@Lucas Odum
They keep chasing after the Germans with their numbering systems
They dont understand that German buyers are not even taking a look in the Cadillac dealership
@@twiggyb67
They still had those nameplates well into the 80's and 90's...and sales were still declining
Lexus introduced the LS400 in 1990 and it was about the same price as the Cadillac Seville and a MUCH better car than the Cadillac Seville...which was their top of the line
