    These are damn good cars. I had a 2004 V and a 2003 5mt as a daily when I had the V and a DTS show car. Now I only have a STS V

    I never liked Cadillac till I found a deal on my 06 sts so I bought it to flip but on the way home I fell in love and decided to keep it. Someday I want to get a cts. Both cars seem similar except the cts is faster I think.

      I bought my 2006 cts to fix n flip but then before i even bought it i fell in love never selling it i plan to have that as a “ hot rod “ when my kids are older in 20 years

      I owned a 2007 STS, and to me they’re very different from the CTS. The interior, exterior, size and the STS is definitely faster.

    i bought my 06 in 2014 with 141k now has 167k in 2022 i used to daily it when i got it now i just baby it. it is a nice looking car and its pretty modern

    I’ve had my 06 3.6 cts for over a year now and I fucking love it!!.
    Honestly if anyone gets a Cadillac always make sure how many owners had it and already make sure how much work they put in the car I’m the 2 owner of the vehicle and it drives like a beauty!! And always remember they are a luxurious vehicle sometimes the car you get the last owner won’t tell you how much they been thru it..

      @@eurasianhillbilly5513I got a 09 cts fwd 3.6 v6.. got it used for 2.5k …it was in bad bad shape…. I invested for a full tune up & TLC..I’m at 133k miles … I love this car 😉 hoping to get out 10 more years out of it lol.

      @@cadillac9142 only a mechanic can add the trans fluid under the car it’s a screw on the transmission you can just fill her up or take it to the shop for a drain and fill up ONLY !

      @@TheMurphy10k nice I bought mines in Charlotte NC for 3K now still driving it daily living in hot Las Vegas ,also lived in Atlanta , Chicago & Virginia with the car she handles still well if fluids are checked often & throttle body is cleaned often

      Nice I have a 2003 cts with 216k miles and was thinking on using to go to Florida from Minnesota all fluids were replaced specially the oil I switch to royal purple and runs really strong I also put royal purple gear oil in the diff and timing belt

    I just bought a cts 07 and ngl i love this thing, motor just gave out at 256,000 miles but i drive it like hell so thats surprising

    I agree with Colton fisher, I took my 04 3.6 for a couple little drifts(yes you can drift these cars) and now the whole par and pinion power steering pump and lines need replacement. All and all we are 10 grand into the car.

      Get a Corolla. You don't know enough about cars to own one of these without getting raped by mechanics. Shouldn't have costed anywhereeee near 10k.

    Picked up an 05 / 180000 mi for 1200. Got an insane deal for it. I swapped the driveshaft just cuz. Thing runs so strong and won’t need anything. Just running it til it dies. Which could be a while

      I have an 04 with 68k miles Ice cold ac, 3.6 I got for 1k cause interior was ugly upgraded tons tho and it’s insane now! Still only 68k miles I put 5k on it since I’ve had it

    I'm sitting at 215,000 miles. It's a sick car, but ive had to put an aftermarket transmission cooler, new diffriential, all new brake hoses and master cylinder, new converters and had to remove the resonator

    My 3.6 lasted 275k miles seized and started right up once it was in seized but I chose to replace the engine

    I'm at 232k on my 2.8 06 and it need a new timing chain. I have replace ac compressor water pump 2 alternator 3 batterys power steering line and have to hot wire my car to start because of a bad ecm. Love the car but it's a nightmare to work on

    I have a question about this car, the fascia shown in this video is like the one on my car, with another grill under the big one and with the air holes under the directional headlights and fog.
    So what is the model of this face? because there is another type of facia that does not have the grill and the holes under the fog lights

      @Jose Leyva: Great question! The 2004-2007 CTS-V front bumper is the one you're describing (with the more aggressive & sporty look of the larger lower grill, front lip/splitter/spoiler and the air holes underneath the fog lights & turn signals;) Also the 2006-2007 CTS Sport (3.6) shared the same front fascia as the CTS-V...👍

    the main problem with the V6 models is that their automatic transmission is an absolute sloshbox. it only has 4-speeds on it (with the 5th just being overdrive), the problems with the smaller sixes (not the 3.6) is that they don't produce enough torque.
    this car should've NEVER came with the transmission that it has. it should've used a 6-speed or transmission with shorter gearing. either way, the car is still gonna guzzle gas since it's a cadillac, might as well just give the thing shorter gear ratios so it can do a lot more.

    I had a 2007 baught it new 2007 .
    The car was OK.
    The car has really bad wheel hop .
    My friend baught a 2009 it was a night and day difference.
    After I rode in his I sold my 2007 and baught a 2010

    These cars are absolute money pits if you have extra cash then by all means but if you want something reliable this is not it. P.S. the key doesn’t like to come out of the car.

      Lol there is a hole under the steering wheel. Use a clothes hanger or something stiff to be able to push the pin to release the key.
