Minecraft 1.21 is here!! The Tricky Trials Update brings new copper blocks, more tuff blocks, the crafter, the breeze, the bogged, new sherds, 20 paintings, wind charges, and a LOT MORE to Minecraft! Most of the update can be found in a cool new structure called the trial chambers which is a new challenge! Today we take a look at everything in Minecraft 1.21 for Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock Edition!

This is just a tip. Let's say if you are mining all the blocks from trial chambers, you can disable the trial spawners by covering trial spawners with any solid block 3x3 and 2 blocks high, if you do that after 30 minutes, you will hear trial spawner activate, but no mobs will spawn, with that, you could mine ev ery block from trial chambers in peace and then later you can make a small room for each trial spawner and use it to farm some of the new items.

Finally, this update came out. the copper bulb is personnally my favorite one.

WAY too expensive. It should be seven ingots, the rod and redstone. 27 ingots is insane to make the three raw blocks for a bulb.
Does anyone know if the bulb has any higher number of different comparator-able states or is it just two?
@@davefroman4700Really? Honestly one medium copper vein is enough to supply a copper bulb, and those big veins, like the iron ones, but near the surface, could probably cover your needs for a while. Or just strip a trial chamber.
Too bad they didint fix it so its still slow at ticks.
Infested stone is unobtainable in survival mode, you need to brew infestation with regular stone

Fishing time reduction is notable. One of those little “quality of life” tweaks that won’t be talked about but will be appreciated.

Something I love about this update is just the trials themselves. They're so fun and engaging to play. My play style is that I'm a builder, and I don't get that much action. But going into a huge dungeon that rewards you every time you play is amazing. Honestly my favorite blocks are the vaults and trial spawners. It makes a pretty big opportunity for map developers to create customized dungeons. It actually is inspiring me to learn how to make naturally spawning dungeons myself.
I am feeling positively of what is the update gonna be on 1.22 and this update was pretty great

I was humbled in the trial chambers yesterday. I went in thinking I was ready. I drank an ominous potion and the first thing I ran into was a baby zombie spawner. I ran through some type of maze to get away and ended up running into TWO baby zombie spawners. The game was over for me at that point. It was like 6 baby zombies in full armor wielding swords. Every time one would hit my shield down, the others would get their hit in omg.
26:45 started dancing to the jam and shut it down quick like “okay I can dance later. Got work to do.”
26:19 that music disk adds so much ambience in my world, i have them playing in juke boxes for 8 seconds all over my church area of my castle

46 MINUTES WHAT. This update is insane! I personally love the crafter more than anything else in this update. I feel like it got kinda overlooked with all the mace stuff.
Looking at the copper trap doors and seeing OSHA-compliant handrails in factory builds.
I, as an archaeologist, see roman style railing in the trap doors (also useful for windows) and I am more delighted about that than I should.
Seing this game evolve since the 360 days makes me think back to humble beginnings
Im looking forward to the future of this game .

technically every mob can be killed by dodging and hitting
you can kill the ender dragon with just your hands technically (yes you have to play peaceful but its still possible)

Already jumped into one of my worlds and got my first trial chamber map. Gonna ran through it later, and make my first crafter and build a paper farm from a sugar cane farm. The new copper blocks look awesome too. Excited to mess around with this update in some of my longer term worlds.
Awesome video!!! It’s amazing to see how far we have come. I first watched you in your 1.14 Let’s Play, and I have to say that was my favorite update, mostly because of you.
My favorite part is probably the auto-crafter and the mace!
Unfortunately, my least favorite part has got to be the Ominous potion effect changes - I have a feeling my raid farm will need to be rebuilt 😢
My favorite item is definitely the crafter, being able to use red stone and craft things without doing it manually is legendary. And, everybody’s been waiting for something like this for decades. Secondly, it’s good for decoration. Using the side of the crafter like a cabinet, it’s good for kitchen designs. So, my fav item is the crafter. It’s got so many uses.

Cant wait to finish my End island forest. Been waiting for those trial spawners and vaults. Ive done everything i can to make the terrain and environment harder, now for some baddies and loot.

As a builder, my favorite thing is the new copper blocks. I'm already having a lot of fun with the grates. I think it'll be cool to make more industrial, steampunk-y builds.

the armor trims and the boat on leeds is crazy good it changes everything
One thing I found is in the powder snow room if you get skeletons they all fall into the snow then become strays. But when they do they technically die and you can win the trial without killing any. But then you have to dodge them to get to the loot
Definitely the best feature is the flow armor trim, it looks so good especially the shoulders
I've been hearing some of the soundtrack on the menu and these are some really good tracks!
Looks like sodium is updated already so yes, I am going to try this update

During that ad read I kept hearing it as Wiseposting so I was just shaking my head thinking “mmm no, very unwise”
I am looking forward to getting the auto crafters set up. But my first chamber I found was a mess. Much of it wasn’t connected. But had fun and discovered it’s so easy to cheese. Even them little devils. Just dig a 2 deep hole in any areas they could get to you and they will run into it. Easy pickings.
I am so glad for the lead boat and also just the ability to put other mobs into the portals via rideable mobs. This is going to make my charged creeper situation a little easier. I've been trying for so long to get the piglin head and miserably failing because the charged creeper would path find its way around the portal. So now I can just lead him into the Minecart and Push him into The nether and then I can probably kill the minecart with a bow and then lead him into a group of piglins and then piglin heads real easy.
So happy that making frog lights will be easier with the ability to more easily take them through the nether
Time to get all my friends on a world we gotta check this out

So that's interesting I thought both armor trims came from the regular vaults. So one comes from the regular one and the other one from the ominous. Cool I'll bear that in mind

I can see using these new effects you can manually make a farm 4 cobwebs and also slimeballs. They reference themselves. So you can use the potions to make more potions. It's quite genius. Also I did notice that the panicking did change. I was messing with a hoglin it ran away briefly and then came back for me. Normally they stay Focused on me

For the copper grating I can see this being used to make a sort of a five nights at Freddy's thing can you imagine walking in those type of vents and seeing sort of mobs that look like Freddy down below. That would be terrifying
finding the wind burst is soo hard. i have found 2 Heavy cores and still no wind Burst 3
hey just wanna correct wattles at 21:07 and 21:38 He got the trims mixed up in terms of attainability. The Bolt armor trim is found in standard vaults(the common orange ones) and the Flow armor trim is found in ominous vaults(the rare blue and red ones). Hope this clears this up and no hard feeling wattles.😊
Edit: Wattles made another mistake at 36:00. You don't need infested stone you just need regular stone

My trial that spawned was a complete joke.
It had TWO rooms that weren't even connected by any hallways/corridors. Just a massive wall that I had to aimlessly dig through -_-
For the infested potion, "infested stone or stone bricks" are unobtainable in survival. It's just regular stone.
I'm glad they changed the bad omen to be a bottle cause it's not fair if you're chilling at your base, they attack you so you defend yourself and suddenly a raid starts because you used self defense.
And you got the milk cancel that can actually prevent it if you forget you have it, perfect change
The bogged is originally from minecraft dungeons doing the exact same thing (shooting poison arrows)

Always exited with a new update, wish it had more above ground. I'm exited for the chambers as a whole will be like a minigame inside the game. Also its kind of like Minecraft Dungeons 2.0.

Oh so the weaving actually does work with mobs inclusive of the player so they do walk in the webs easier. I thought it was mainly non-player mobs
Place lava around the spawners and the mobs almost die on their own. Just push it off the spawner with a bow and arrow and you're done. Then just collect loot from the spawner.
This update is actually really big and cool mojang comin back with this one
ive already built a auto iron block farm. The key was powering the crafter with a hopper clock 5 (stacks)
