  • Today I decided to try to do my very 1st valve adjustment ever! With help from a great write up I found online, I felt confident enough to do the job and the results were fantastic! Link below to the write up I found.

Thanks. Me too. With the less weight, should rev faster, allow better rev matching for down shifting and put more power down to the wheels faster. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Great video...the head has been rebuild? I definitely hear people say their car pulls more with a valve adjustment exactly if there was on the loose side.

Thanks. Yes. The whole motor is a full fresh rebuilt with aftermarket performance parts. After 2 track days, especially after what happened at Sebring I felt like it was worth looking at. Sure enough, the majority were too loose and needed to be tightened anywhere from 0.001-0.004. I Can for sure feel a difference in performance. I also noticed my AFR at idle is around 11’s when it used to be 12-13’s. Not worried though since I plan on doing a retune after my light weight flywheel, full 3” exhaust and adjustable fpr im doing this month, god willingly.

@@agcrxturbo9577 Honda's are known to make some noise from the head because of valve's needing adjustment but even after that they still make noise it's not going to be perfect. Can't wait for a retune to see how it does with everything done I hear a 3" is overkill for a all motor set up on b series would love to know if it really is or isn't because my dc2 has a 3" because it used to be turbo but I bought it all motor.

@@budgetbuild914 especially with the skunk2 camshafts, it just makes a little more noise that stock, not terrible at all. As for the exhaust, right now I’m running a 2.5” non mandrel bend and I know that’s restricting it. I hear mixed reviews. My tuner said 3” is the way to go. My headers have a 2.5” collector and I heard that after that, 3” is fine. I guess it’ll be like running open headers and I know that usually gets more power. We’ll see though, Im expecting more top end power and hopefully it won’t be too loud. The exhaust I bought already has a 18” straight through resonator and muffler. I’m adding another 12” straight through resonator where my cat would be to make it more quiet.

@@agcrxturbo9577 adding a resonator is a great idea mine is just straight 3" no cat no resonator I love the way it sounds but it's a bit loud for my liking definitely going to add one to mine thanks

@@budgetbuild914 yeah, i dont like it too loud. I prefer quiet with just a little grunt
