This is gonna help me with my build! I am mostly confused on small things.. but I think I am ready to drop the motor in once I throw on the transmission and starter!

I have a b20 bottom end with a b16 head and b16 transmission. Thank you for your response, but like what year model of what car do I need to get?? I'm new to this brother
@@secmaga20 What do you mean what car do you get? You should know what car your going to put your motor in before you even get the motor.. I have a 1999 Civic Coupe DX that I swapped a B18C1 Engine and Transmission from an 1999 Acura Integra GS-R. I recommend any civic from 1990-2000, I'd recommend finding a EX or Si if you want the easiest swap, beyond that I have no clue because I am not doing a CR-VTEC build or a LS-VTEC. I am stock motor for now, until I get Skunk2 IM/TB/Cams.
Good work on the baffle! May want to considering honing the cylinders after some time and switching to ITR-style 84mm pistons to bump the compression a little bit
I was just about to say this. Beautiful work, only 1 thing missing, those high compression pistons to set it off just right. I would have done it while the engine was open. All is good, still can be done whenever you get the chance. Good job and good luck brother. 👍

Update from my previous comment, From March 19th Till June 1st I rebuilt the motor, dropped it in, wired it all up, she started, got her timed, and now shes ripping around!
Hahaha man, I wish but since We just have 2 kids during these years, car been on the lift never touch ground. I am excited the day that I can return to the car life man!
I can’t find a straight answer but is a b20 bottom end safe to run with a gsr head with only arp rod bolts, I keep seeing all this bs about the rods needing to be resized or something and I’m not sure what I should do. Can someone help me am I good to just buy arp rod bolts and slap them in like this guy?
Hi there, it gonna be similar parts upgrade, oil cooler, oil line hook up. depends what is the compression you want choose different thickness of the head gasket.
Inspiring how you presented this… awesome job guys! ❤
that's one proper video , great job and thank you.
Nice. Miss those days - wish i had kore knowledge on these builds back then. Love to hear that motor fire up

My question was confusing. Sorry, brother. But my b20 block is off a crv, and my head is from a 99 si.
Nice one bro🔥💪💯

You mske it look sk easy, Great job man,
Didn't show tapping and plugging the head and the timing looked visibly off. Hope the build is going well, thanks for the upload.
B20 motor is good.header supercharger
Good work !! I have a b16a2..do i have to make any changes if i put only a b20 block?

👍👍
Hey bro what transmission did you use?
Hi ! Ser i need see manual ?
Did u stretch the arp rod bolt like torque and take off and torque again? I'm doing the same kinda build wanted to see if u did or not...
Always a good idea to follow the manufacturer procedure which is stated to stretch the bolts
💯
Did you thread the bottom of the cylinder and put the oil passage block ?
Hey there, No I didn't, good point bring out!
plans from the oil pan plate are available?
Yes sir! Send me email at hfab2021@gmail please, I will send you the dxf file.
Nice work did u plug the left port on the oil filter plate adapter or no
Yes but I plan to install the pressure sensor so.
Where did you get the vtec head from? I have a b20 non vtec and wanna switch it over
GSR.
Only B20 vtecs are B20B and the B20Z or you can get a B16 head

How much for the engine
i am building a b20vtec , arnt you supposed to only put the head bolts hand tight?
Yes sir, only hand tight for the arp stud.
no issue w pistons???!!!
You had the motor out and you didn't do the rod bolts? I also noticed you didn't put in an upper cylinder brace too.
No oil in the filter?
No haha, I should
Is it just me or does the gear of the new water pump look bigger than the original?
19 and 22 teeth
On 16:06 you used a book to show you patterns & torque? Where can I get one?

f20b in europe is a SOHC engine. did you upgrade it to a DOHC engine ?
It's a B20B block, not F20B
Can I have the baffle drawing?
Sure I have the DFX file, please email at hfab2021@gmail.com. I will send back to you the file!
What about the crap that went into the block when buffing the surface for the sump
I flip of the whole block then shot ton of carb cleaner to get away that lol
Can you make me that baffle plate ? I’ll weld it in…..

that's not gonna last long since you didn't resize the rods after putting in arp rod bolts
What do you mean? Why?
@@Liveforeever you must have no idea how it works and what the difference makes when you use arp rod bolts
@@jasonlowther9936 that's why I'm asking, go on?
@@Liveforeever using arp rod bolts they use a higher clamp load that makes the bearing clearance tighter that's why you have to get them resized
